I went to this seamstress about a month ago, hoping to get three dresses altered for a wedding (my own and two for my daughters). We are in the bridal party for my sister's upcoming wedding. I let her know that I needed them done by a specific date and she assured me that she could have them done by then (despite taking a leave of absence beforehand). When that date rolled around, I called her shop multiple times and there was no answer. I drove all the way out to her shop, only to find out that it was going to remain closed until after the wedding date. My dresses are locked inside, and now I cannot use them, altered or not! I am furious as now my daughters and I have no dresses to wear for my sister's wedding, and I am out the money that I had paid for them, as they will be useless to me after the wedding date. I am now left in a position of having to scramble to find three new dresses in a week, despite having paid for the dresses already. I understand that emergencies come up, but it is absolutely unacceptable to treat a customer like this. I should have been notified when her shop's opening date was changed and given a chance to retrieve my personal items. I would not recommend this shop to anyone else, and I will definitely not be returning here again. read more

She did an outstanding job on both jackets and actually placed the patches on the jackets so that they would look neat and organize. She is a very friendly lady and does excellent work with a reasonable price. I am happy that I founder location to do the work. I've been training Jiu Jitsu about 200 yards from here for the last 5 years & whenever I get a new Gi or we get new students I direct them over to Kim's to get their school patches sewn on. I've just now had my first patch start to get a little loose after a few years worth of rolling in my favorite Gi. The turn around time is very fast. I've had military uniform patches sewn on here & pants hemmed up. If I ever need anything done in a hurry I know I can negotiate for a few dollars more to get it when I need it. read more
