No rating. Will not take anything else to her anymore. She messed up a$79 dollar jumper of mine. I had been going to her quite awhile. And for not even try to compensate me for her mistakes. Was unjust. NO MORE OF MY BUSINESS. Would let me post without a star. The star is only so I can post. read more

The prices and quick return time is definitely worth a visit! As an active duty member she got everything I asked for completed within a matter of time. I highly recommend and will be coming back for when I get promote. It helps if you bring the patches with your uniform, that is my fault, not the shops. read more

Horrible business the owner is very rude and disrespectful. Owner drinks while doing alteration. Many items she can't find that's dropped off and has to pay customers for their items. This woman never shows up to open business till middle of the day. I will never take items to this disrespectful drunk. read more

Last minute dress uniform was no problem for Alma. Amazing service and quality stitch work :)

Lost our patches for one uniform. turned in uniforms for hem and patches to her on Tuesday guaranteeing it would be done before Friday morning. Called her Thursday to check on the status and she said she'd be done midday. 1130 pm Thursday night and we were STILL waiting up for our uniforms. She claimed she had a lot of uniforms to do but why accept ours if you knew you were behind already. Won't go back ever! Don't recommend. Would give her no stars if I could. read more

I've done have done business with this shop for three years. I dropped off a Black leather jacket 12-5-18 for a pocket repair. The jacket has sentimental value because he passed away 12-30-13. 5 combat tours field artillery highly decorated. PTSD Sleep Apnea took him. The jacket kept me connected to him and has his his name sewn in the inside pocket. Today when checking on the jacket Alma told me that she doesn't have the jacket anymore and threw it out because she thought I didn't want it anymore. Now allot has happened since 12/18 but the details we disagree on. I still have the ticket and have checked in several times before. Not to mention customer service calling someone to inquire about me picking up the jacket. All that said if your reading this post and have this jacket, I humbly ask for its return I am willing to compensate you for its return. Based on this experience I will not be doing any additional business here. My brother is in the center with me on the left this is the bet picture of the jacket read more

Poor service asked to get suit tailored they told me it would be done. When I came to pick it up only pants were tailored and they charged me a different price than what I was told prior to picking up. Also, they only accept cash so they probably don't pay taxes. read more

Not only did Ms. Alma do a great job in altering my pants, but she's also one of the sweetest people that you could meet. She now has a customer for life --- thanks Ms. Alma!! read more

Outstanding doesn't seem enough stars to say how much we thank her for the alterations she did for us to a set of dress whites and same day! But for going above and beyond to correct a huge mistake we made by bring her the incorrect sized cracker jack (totally our fault) she stayed and worked till 1030 to remove all the ensignas she did on the first one and to re do them all over again for the 2nd one! And did we mention all this was same day service? CRAZY thank you so much ! read more

This place is so cute and the people there are so great! They provide your service very fast and they will do it in front of you. I would highly recommend them for any alterations you may need. Also very well priced!! read more

Alma a was able to tailor my jacket in two days in order for me to get to a wedding, she did a great job and the service was exceptional!!

Took a brand new $350 ball gown to be altered for my daughter, it was so uneven 2 inches off the ground in the back and dragging the floor in the front. she could not fix i it in time for the event. refused to make it right Then she kept the dress and did not give me money to replace it, said I would have to take her to court. I had to call the police. read more

Alma's Alterations - You can see in the mirror that it is 2 inches off the floor in one place, and dragging the ground in another ..... with flats. - Dry Cleaning Near Me - Norfolk, Virginia

I brought three pairs of coveralls that needed things to be sewn on. I dropped them off on a Wednesday, she said it would be done by Saturday. I go in Saturday and they still aren't done, but she reassures me that they'll be done by Monday. I go over on Monday and she says that she'll have them done and she will call me. The following Tuesday, my wife goes over to try and get an update just to find out no one has started on them and that the lady who was "working" on them had never sewn military collar devices or warfare insignia on anything before. As it is a week later, I still don't have my coveralls. TL;DR: Terrible expectation management or notification of delay. Avoid at all costs. read more

Got my dress whites done and she even stayed open late for me. Excellent service and a real nice lady. Had my inspection the next day and I would have to work on Saturday if it wasn't for her. She closes at 10 now after the pandemic. read more

worst customer service I would recommend going elsewhere, my son in law dropped off a suit for our vow renewal back in mid October stated he needed by November 1st , (luckily we didn't need it it the 17th) but called on the 2nd and she had not even started the alterations we then told her we needed it no later than the 11th after several attempts to go to the store to pick it up during posted store hours no one was there my son in law tried calling while outside he was sent to voicemail , so we called from a different phone number and she answered .... finally was able to make arrangements to pick it up she was supposed to steam it which she did not do ....if you want your items in a timely manner I would suggest going elsewhere read more

Do not use this service! I've spoken to many people about where to get a dress altered and a nice coat dry cleaned. After some research I've found the following: She is not licensed to dry clean and just throws everything in the washing machine like you would at home. Alterations are never on time so if you're on a deadline you should go someplace else. I spoke to a few people who know her personally and have found out that she's abusive to her husband as well. 0/10 will never use her and will direct everyone I know to do the same. read more

Very friendly and professional owner. If business is closed, you may call for an emergency. It's out of sight, so not much waiting. read more

This is a horrible business! I bought a ball gown from David's bridal and asked them to alter it, when it was ready she didn't call me, so I called her to ask if it was ready. I came to try on the dress and it was uneven! She then proceeded to tell us she could cut the fabric underneath, but that defeats the purpose of a ball gown. I then asked for my dress back so that when we got our money back we could give her the dress in return but she refused. I would not recommend this place to anyone!!! read more

The only place open late and they do it very fast and right in front of you within ten minutes highly recommended

worst experience ever!!! do not go here! my item sat dormant in her shop and would have continued to do so if i didn't call to see about it! she changes pricing after a quote, can't even locate your invoices and is not honest about when she can deliver. the customer service is beyond reproach and she has no idea how to run a business. calling someone sweetie does not give you a pass to have an attitude and when you answer the phone at 9am (normal business hours!) be nice! read more
