Visited the Battlefield location and had the most excellent experience. We just moved from Minnesota to VA and with our moving truck delayed another 1-2 weeks, we were in dire need of laundry to be washed. The attendant was an absolute gem, Faris is his name. He graciously assisted me with how to purchase detergent and softener, how to download and run the app, and how to run the machines. I noted as people came in and out, he greeted them so warmly and truly managed this facility as an owner could only dream. The facility itself and machines were exceptionally clean, well lit, and safe. 10/10 recommend!!! He advised me that I could have even dropped off my laundry to pick back up which is a service I've never experienced. Not too often that doing laundry is enjoyable, but this was great! read more

We had just moved into the area and our household goods with our washer and dryer were going to be a month out. I went to laundry place based on the reviews and proximity, and I was not disappointed. They had a good amount of washers and dryers in different sizes. The price seemed fair. The attendants were always so helpful. They let me park my folding chair inside, while I watched Netflix on my phone and waited for my laundry. Despite it being the middle of summer, the place was always a comfortable temperature despite all the machines running. My washer and dryer have been delivered, but if I needed to, I'd definitely go back to this place. read more

I need to give a huge shout out to Michelle! I walked in clueless and she was so helpful in everything from machine selection to how long to dry items for. The place was very busy, but she multitasked handling customer requests with efficiency and still knocking out laundry that had been dropped off. It was apparent the relationships that she has built with customers over the years. What a gem of an employee! Although, it wasn't the ideal way to spend a sunny Sunday. I found Laundry Place through a Google search for wash and fold services in my area, and I found the Battlefield Blvd. and Indian River Road locations. I've used both and could not be more satisfied with both locations! Their services are affordable, and their customer service is amazing! Clean and friendly staff. This is a coin laundry, they have 2 coin machines that accept bills from $1-$20. It's $3 to use the smaller size washer machine, and 25 cent for 6 minutes for the smaller size dryers. They do have a few of the big ones but I didn't get a chance to use those. They require face coverings, so if you're a cry baby don't come here. Over all great experience. read more

I needed to launder all of our heavy comforters and blankets, so I thought I'd try this laundromat. It was a good choice! Tidy, well-organized, and staffed. There are change-machines to give you quarters and you can buy soap-- but I brought my own because I prefer my brand. It is a true neighborhood laundromat and some of the customers knew each other from church or wherever so they were talking and making pleasant conversation. I was reading my book and they didn't bother me, so that made for a warm, cozy reading experience while I washed my blankets. The owner even came in and gave tips on how high to fill the dryers for the best drying/fastest drying. (Seems to be about 2/3. Leave a gap for air to flow around the items.) I will be back here for future large-item washing. Recommended! read more

My family and have been using this place for about 18 months now and it's fairly clean, usually not too busy, and the staff are fairly attendant. It's somewhat expensive but I have a larger family and it's not out of our budget so it's not terrible. My biggest complaint (and the reason I ended up giving it three stars) is that many people, including the staff, will sit right out side the doors and smoke. There's nothing more frustrating then walking out with your clean laundry through a cloud of cigarette smoke. They really should considering making that area non-smoking. read more

Washer broke and family in town resulting in a large amount of sheets and towels. Haven't been to a laundromat in years but this place definitely changed the idea of what I remember laundromats to be as a kid. Super clean and it has attendants(which were super courteous and helpful btw) they also have drop off service. Getting a new washer soon but I will definitely be using the drop off service for my down comforter. read more

I have been here twice and my husband once. We were both very impressed with how clean it is and how everything is in working order. On my most recent visit (beginning of May), there was a young woman there who was very helpful to me and other customers. She advised me on which washer to use for my oversized comforters, she helped me fold them and then take them out to my car.
