I dread going to the Laundromat but my dryer at home wasn't drying. So i checked all the reviews and it seems most places are hit or miss. So i just went with this place since it was closer. Its my 1st time here. They're located in a strip mall off of Pleasant Valley Rd. When we got there it was busy in the front but wasn't many people in the back. It was $5 for a triple load dryer but i promise that washing machine barely held one load of clothing. My daughter had to wash her clothes a second time because she insisted they weren't clean. My load was clean. I guess the machines are hit or miss. The dryers are $.25 per 4 minutes and 30 seconds. I put it on high heat and it took about 24-30 minutes to dry, a few clothes were still slightly damp. I will probably wash at home and just dry there the next time to save money. They have a pickup game and a quarter drop game as well as a few vending machines. They also have an atm and change machine. The bathroom was decent. It wasn't spotless, but it was cleaner than i expected. If you want to drop off your clothes they'll wash and fold them. They charge by the pound. I'll certainly consider that next time. It was an average trip. read more

I love this laundromat!!! It's always clean, and the people or staff are very friendly and always very helpful!!!

I hadn't used a laundromat in decades so I'm not sure if the price is comparable. What I do know is I did a double load in the washer for about $4.25 and dried same load for $2.00 for 30 minutes. The washer cleaned well and that dryer was hot and did the job. The place was kept very clean and most machines were operating. Only a couple were out of order. I recommend taking your quarters with you unless you have dollar bills. They couldn't break a $10 bill. On the whole, I would go there again in a heartbeat. read more

Very large laundromat that has self-service and drop off available. Even though the place was rather busy on a Saturday morning, there were plenty of washers and dryers available. Change machine worked well, turning my $20 into a big pile of quarters. And boy, did I need them! One triple-sized washer and two double-sized washers took about 25 minutes to run a cycle (there's a countdown display timer on everything). That was $11. Drying was another $7 and it took quite a long while. At least a half hour until everything was dry. And yes, that was despite me spreading out my stuff to five different dryers. They have free wifi (you'll have to ask the counter person to enter the code into your device) and a few power outlets so you can keep your device charged. A couple of quarter-operated video game machines are also available. My only complaint is that there were only a few folding tables and they weren't nearly large enough. read more

Great laundromat. Clean. Lots of machines, carts, and seats available. Numerous machine sizes. Staff is always super helpful!

Showed up here after a house fire ready to pay someone to do all my laundry while I go do other essential tasks. No Luck. no attendant on site, no ATM, the laundry soap machine took $2.00 from me before I gave up. (There is a food lion two stores away, but If you offer it, make sure it works.). Called the number listed here, and plastered across the front of the store, no answer. FAIL read more

I love this place for whenever I need to clean big items. Came in clutch when my washing machine broke last week! Clean, nice staff and hgtv is always on! read more

Our washer broke and it took a week before the new one arrives so we went to this laundromat and liked it a lot! Big commercial washers and dryers that are fast and time efficient. The place is clean and well maintained. A lot of available parking and surrounding stores to shop around while you wait! read more

This is my first time using a laundromat in Virginia Beach. The attendant was super helpful and the facility is very clean and well maintained. I'll be back! read more

Had great customer service and my clothes came out very nice. Highly recommend for laundry service.

I needed to wash a large item that wouldn't fit in my washer so l came to this location. From the moment l walked in the door, Trish greeted me and explained how each of the different machines worked and the prices of each. Extremely friendly and super helpful! Will definitely use this location again if I'm ever in the need! read more

Very well organized and spacious laundry area. Would recommend and close in our neighborhood.

Dolphin laundry is a little dated but also kept Clean. Lots of machines and reasonable prices. My experience was soured by finding other people's clothes in my washer and dryer after having closes inspected both machines before putting my own clothes in them. Also found a pair of tweezers which were not mine wedged in the dryer. Just kind of off putting. read more

A little pricey but I've been here twice and i will say, second time was the charm. From my car to the washer and back to the car, the attendant Amy was VERY helpful! She helped me inside, made sure I was aware of the Wednesday specials and was just all around helpful. I saw her picking up some dryer sheets and i appreciated her just keeping the place clean and tidey. I will definitely return ... on a Wednesday! Hopefully Amy is there again. read more

This is such a great laundromat! First time being here I didn't know what to expect because It's been so long since I had to go to a laundromat but I love it here. Coin operated and the ladies who work there are awesome! Easy to talk to and did I mention it's kid friendly! They have their own kid station with coloring books, legos, little action figures and more. I love that it's right around little food shops too so you can grab a bite to eat. I like that I can feel comfortable to leave my laundry in while we go grab a bite and know it's safe! read more

THE ESTABLISHMENT NEEDS AN ASSOCIATE AT ALL TIMES! A customer decided to park their car in front of the establishment, right after bringing in their laundry. The car was parked there the whole time. it was a very inconsiderate act to other customers, who need to use the space to unload/load their laundry to their cars because it is close to the door. If there was an associate present, the inconvenience would have been solved. We didn't confront the couple about their parking, but we waited for them to remove their car from the front of the establishment, to actually park in the actual parking lot, but they didn't. read more

I am very impressed with Dolphin Laundry in VB. The staff was extremely helpful in getting my laundry ready for my next renters. The ladies provided advice on what machines to use for washing and even offered to load my wash into the dryers so I would have to make a second trip back. Awesome! Plenty of change to use for both wash and dry. I will definitely use the laundry in the future. read more

After visiting another local laundry business and not being welcomed, calling dolphin was encouraging. The staff was very friendly and professional. They also provide full service laundering which was a blessing for someone like me. Also, clean inside. You don't get that creepy feeling at all!! read more

They have a lot of laundry machines but it takes forever to dry. Staff is really nice and helpful.

Wow! Is all I can say. This was my 1st time in, & to start with, the laundry attendant met me @ my car with a cart to help me haul in my baskets. She told me how to save a few dollars while still getting an effective wash, and told me that on Wednesdays the double load machines are only $1.75. The place was very clean and bright. It wasn't crowded or creepy. To top it off the prices were legit. Will definitely be using them again! read more

The service is great and the equipment is clean!! Every Wednesday they offer special pricing which is a plus!

Very clean facility and the staff (manager was on hand this particular day) was friendly!

Not what I expected in a laundromat! Very clean and nice machines Amy is so nice and personable and really helped me out today! Very happy! read more

Our dryer went on the fritz, so we found this little gem! The place is clean, the washers and dryers are HUGE! We were able to wash what would take 7 or 8 loads into 3 washes and 2 dryers. And talk about fast! In and out in about an hour and a half with clean clothes. People are super friendly and helpful. Was able to get some homework done because they have free wifi too! Great place! read more

Nice size washer's &dryer's. You can even drop off & also must say friendly service & free Wi-Fi, will return.

Went into the laundry mat and the worker was outside on a smoke break. Proceeded to go Inside and the lady never came in, the entire time I was there basically. I forgot my dryer sheets in the car and didn't mind to get them so I paid $2 to get individual boxes of them but they never came out the machine. I was like I know I don't need to go outside and ask her to come inside to get my money back. So I proceeded anyways to go outside. I walked over to her car and said, excuse me can I get my money back from the dryer sheets that's never came out? She replied sure and followed me inside the laundromat. I got my $2 back but she left right after and went back outside while there was multiple people still inside. she headed back to her car and never came back. I was in the laundromat for about and hour and 15 minutes and never seen her again. Mind you she was the only one working. Came back in 10 minutes later and got her drink and keys and asked anyone if they needed help with anything and said she was taking her break now. it wasn't clear to me what she was doing but she was had someone sitting in the car with her in the parking lot. read more

The staff is very courteous and the facility is clean. They even have a few open electrical sockets which came in handy for me. Going in the morning is best- everyone is at work and everything is open. It's in the same shopping center as a family dollar and a grocery store so you don't have to go far to purchase laundry soap or bleach. read more

I need to let fellow yelpers know about this absolutely wonderful place ! It was laundry day for me and found this place , thought I would give it a shot . One of my least favorite parts of doing laundry is the carrying in and out heavy loads from my car and I see this lady walking out asking if I needed any help . I said please ! And bam just like that all of my laundry was inside . Once inside all I could see were washers big and small .I wasn't sure which one I should use or where to put the soap and all that so she walked me through it . Overestimated how much it would cost me as well , had plenty of money left over for the next laundry day . I felt like a pain for asking so many questions but the attendant was so sweet about it and explained everything . Next thing you know my laundry was ready to dry . While it was drying I sat there and ate my sandwich and talked to her for a bit . I looked around and just noticed how clean the place was too . So nice to go into a business and feel like you're at home. I felt like I was genuinely welcomed and I appreciated the attendant helping me . I will definitely come back :) I can't emphasize how great it is to wash your clothes in a clean laundromat and having an attendant there to help if/when I need it read more

I've been coming to this laundromat every weekend for a while now and I absolutely love it here! I usually have my kids with me , and its nice that Dolphin Laundry has taken in consideration its hard to do laundry and watch your kids at the same time. The attendees are very helpful and let the kids color while I get my laundry done. Ive noticed too that the laundromat is always clean. Its a great atmosphere. Other laundromats Ive found are dirty, rude staff, or my clothes come out still dirty. I would highly recommend this place if you're looking for a friendly, clean, and reasonably priced laundromat . read more
