Until last night it had been about a decade since I had been to one if you count college dorms- longer if you don't. The good news is- pretty much nothing has changed. I only came to finish a load of half-way dried clothes after my dryer broke. I didn't spend too much time here. When I entered I was a little lost. When I was noticed by the attendant he first made sure I knew that I wasn't arriving with enough time to finish a full load before they closed. I get the impression at 9pm they lock their doors regardless of what is still being washed or dried. When I told him I only had a few things that needed to be dried he didn't protest. He came over and watched me as I struggled for a few seconds to figure out how to insert my change. I wasn't getting the turn each time you insert a quarter thing at first. I know... "typical millennial." I was glad he came over and helped me. I'm sure he was internally rolling his eyes at me the whole time- I deserved it. The laundromat has three different sizes of washers with signs hanging above them telling you if they are standard, family, or extra large capacity washers. The most expensive (biggest) washer was $5 and it did take credit cards. The dryer prices varies depending on how much time you needed. $.50 was all I needed. All the machines take quarters, but some of them also take cards. This place isn't fancy or modern. I don't know if this is just how laundromats are these days - unchanged and not updated. There were a few broken machines, but really no more than just a few. There is a spot in the corner where a large machine must have set for years and destroyed the floor. It looks bad, but cosmetic imperfections don't mean dirty. I was actually pleasantly surprised by how clean things appeared, I was naturally expecting some sand or foot traffic debris from the beach proximity and it being a rainy day. Nope- everything looked pretty clean to me! This place is the definition of "a-ok" - it gets the job done with no extra bells and whistles. Convenient location. Parking is available and there is a 7/11 next door, plus a brewery and a coffee shop around the corner.

Not your typical coin…read moreop, extremely clean, reasonably priced and staff was friendly and very helpful with recommendation of best machines to use. They have 2, 4, and 6 load capacity washers with prices ranges based on needs (also varies with setting if going between light or heavy launder requirements). Went late morning and was not too busy, the 4 load capacity washers were all in use so I had to use a 6 which was more suited to what I had brought anyhow. Highly recommended and will be back for future use.

My last visit, I went on a Wednesday and it was pretty empty. The two ladies who were here were cleaning the laundromat, making sure there wasn't dust anywhere including the game machine in the front. They were also wiping down the folding tables and seating area. They're very attentive to cleanliness. I mean it is a laundromat, right? lol They also have folding services for those that don't want to fold their clothes. They do a phenomenal job with that as well. If you need change for smaller bills, laundry bags, laundry detergent, softener, and bleach, they have it. It's my go to laundromat. Restrooms are in the back, but you must ask for them to unlock the door.
