This is my first time in a laundromat in years. This place is clean and Tilly was so incredibly helpful. I would definitely come here again.

Beyond customer service--this was something I could never have imagined. Ree'née went far beyond the standard laundry service. I walked in prepared to wash my own dog bed and towels from my 16-year-old Lab, who is on her way to heaven. My heart was already breaking. Angel Ree'née stepped in, cried with me, hugged me tightly, and simply said: "I'll take care of everything. Come back in an hour." That moment meant more to me than she will ever know. She didn't just take care of my laundry--she took care of me during one of the hardest moments. That is the kind of person you remember. That is the kind of business you support. And that is what true customer service looks like. Thank you, Ree'née, for showing compassion, kindness, and genuine care when I needed it most. If you're looking for a laundry service that treats you like a person--not just a customer--this is it. read more

Very clean facility! Lots of places to sit and wait. Stocked vending machines. The best was Peggy, the attendant. SUPER HELPFUL! I hadn't been to a laundromat in decades. Showed up with my comforter and zip loc of quarters. Peggy walked me through everything. How to purchase a card, which machines were best to use and how long everything would take. Very sweet. read more

Due to the fact the washing machine at my apartment complex is on the blink, I've had to avail myself of the services of the Soaps-N-Suds Laundrymat on the corner of Rosemont and Holland in Virginia Beach, Va. It's a lovely place, clean as a whistle and the staff is courteous, pleasant and very helpful. I cannot recommend the place any more highly. There are washers and dryers of various sizes and you'll find your laundry-doing done before you know it! read more

Peggy helped us with everything and when she wasn't helping, she was cleaning the entire time. The facility is kept incredibly clean and Ms. Peggy is very kind. If I could give her 10 Stars I would! Highly recommend doing your laundry here!!! read more

Thank you Ms. Rene for keeping the dryer vents clean today. She is always hard at work whenever we come in this Soap-N-Suds.

If I could give a negative score I would!! The supervisor Renee is the epitome of ignorance. She should not be in any position that allows her to be in charge. She is no help in anyway. It so pathetic our society these days!! She is awful we'll go out of our way next time to go to a different location read more

Large space with plenty of washers and dryers. Reasonably priced. Well lit and stocked with carts for your laundry. You load your pay card. Used $20 for wash and dry of 5 large comforters and blankets. Took 40 minutes. Reasonably priced and dryer power was great. read more

They need to figure out how customers can load their cards online or an app because the attendant has a problem with helping customers. I would give this place a 5 if it wasn't for the awful attendant smh read more

I just went and put 60 dollars on my soaps and suds card go and wash my clothes when finished I noticed that one of the dryers didn't drain all the water and and towells were still saturated. I went to let manager know that it had not drained and the manager goes on to say wtf am I supposed to do and out it? I asked if I can get a refund or see if they can just start it to drain the water. I mean I could if just thrown the saturated clothes in the dryer. but she's goes on and tells me to get my shit and get out of her store. please dont go here. They let homeless well I believe they are homeless but they let them panhandle right in the middle of the laundromat read more

Worst customer service from the attendant who does not want to help customers. One on the meanest ladies who does not value people. She may have had a rough day Tuesday morning but that wasn't warranted to the response of an establishment that serves people read more

Clean, easy to use, warm (it was snowing this day) and the dryers dry really fast. VERY VERY clean location with that fresh laundry smell. Thank you! read more

For laundromat newbies like me: Look around before you choose a washer. I chose a 5-load washer and paid over $7 to use it. The smaller washers are in the back and range from $3 to $5. Also, if you use pods, put them inside with the clothes not in the detergent reservoir on top. Had to wash twice when it didn't work correctly. Initially, I was put off by the rechargeable card because I knew I'd end up leaving a balance on it, but it was honestly easier than using quarters. In the end, I paid $25 to wash two loads of laundry. Lots of waiting tables. read more

The attendant made my wash experience so much fun. She had me laughing the whole time! So friendly and helpful. I love that they have HUGE washers because I let my clothes pile up. I would definitely come back here again! read more

Chill atmosphere and the equipment worked great. My two loads of laundry were fully dry in 20 mins. The lady working the laundromat was very helpful and considerate. Will be back! read more

I left my clothes to get washed and the lady did a good job. Kinda pricey if you consider the tip, but otherwise, you'll have to purchase a laundry card. read more

Washing machine is broken, oh no! Soaps-N-Suds was closest to home. The facility is clean and tidy, there were plenty of machines, almost all in working order. The washing machines cost between $2.79-$6.99 depending on what kind of machine you want to use. I went for the mid grade $4.99 model, not really sure what the quality or capacity difference is.... the giant dryer is $.79 to use. I had my little one with me, thankfully they had two big screen TVs with cartoons to entertain her, nice booth seats to sit in while waiting, and vending machines for snacks. You will have to exchange your cash (no coins) or credit card for a SNS card. Hopefully, I won't have to return. But, if I am in need of a laundromat in the future, I'll use this one for sure. read more

I've started going here recently for laundry and I wish I came here years ago. I usually get my clothes washed at washland. Upon my first visit here, I decided to make this my togo laundry mat spot. It's big and spacious, bench seats everywhere, folding table, Tv's. What sold me was their variety to washers which ranges from small loads (one basket) to medium (2-3 baskets) and large (4-6) baskets. If you don't like the spin washers there's plenty stand up ones near the bathrooms. Even their dryers come in different sizes and they actually work! I bring about 4 baskets of clothes every visit which is about $20 for me all together. read more

Needed to wash a King sized comforter today at Wash Land. $8.99 for the largest washing machine & $0.72 per 10 mins. for the largest dryer (Large 45-Pound Dryers) You do need to purchase one of their reloadable cards for $1 and add on how much you will need to complete your laundry. Attendant on duty today was extremely helpful, Very knowledgeable and quick to lend a helping hand with the card machine, washing and dryer machine instructions and recommendations. Laundromat was Clean and Bright, Nice TVs to watch, tables throughout to have a seat and relax while you wait and folding stations throughout the laundromat for your use and convenience. Snacks, beverages, Detergent and fabric softener available for purchase at the vending machines. read more

This was my first time using a laundromat and mainly came because I had a king size comforter and loads of laundry from visitors that I wanted done all at once. It was a bit pricey considering I've dropped my king comforter off where I used to live and had it laundered for about $8. The place was very busy, but Peggy the attendant had it all the best control. She was super helpful explaining the machines and how it all worked. While getting our things out, one of the smaller comforters and sheet sets had been taken out of the dryer we were using! ALL of the clothes were left in, but these items were removed. Ugh. Hi can't say I was very thrilled. I went to Peggy and asked what happens when things disappear...she was quick to help and said it's never happened to her. We checked all the machines and then I was going to just chalk up losing $75 worth of bedding. As we were thinking how thus could have happened it occurred years us that a man had been folding very similar items earlier. I mentioned this to Peggy and she immediately knew who it was. A call to her manager was made and before we left the man came back with our things. He was doing laundry for a neighbor and mistakenly took ours...although left ALL the clothes. ??? That part doesn't make sense. Anyway, all's well that ends well. Peggy was AWESOME! read more

I have a Washer and Dryer but I prefer to take my comforters to the Laundromat. This place is very clean. The washers come in many sizes all the way up to 45lb. The dryers get your clothes dry in minimal time and the cost is very reasonable. They have vending machines for snacks and big screen televisions for your viewing. If you must go to the laundromat this place is a good choice. read more

Wanted to spend about $75 doing laundry but apparently having my husband's credit card with my same last name wasn't accepted. Showed my ID with my medical insurance card which has my husbands name stating spouse but that still wasn't good enough. Drove out of my way because I have always preferred this place. Giving my money to wash land instead. read more

Very poor customer service was expressed by the attendant when we needed her assistance. But when another customer came in with the same ethnic background the attendant tone went from sullen to very nice. The day of the service was on 7/8/22 at about 2:30 PM. read more

That jerk Hurricane Matthew knocked out power for almost 48 hours this past weekend. That sucked for many reasons but one of the biggest was the fact we could not get any laundry done. It is beyond belief at how fast your dirty clothes pile up when your washing machine is nothing more than an oversized paperweight. I have not set foot in a laundromat in decades. That is how long ago college and first apartment living is for me. My memories are so vintage that I even showed up with a pocketful of quarters, thinking nothing had changed from the old coin operated machines of yore. To my surprise even laundromat technology has gone 21st century. Instead of quarters, you shove your credit card into an ATM like machine, charge the desired amount, and get another card with your "credit" spat out at you. Its kind of like gambling in Vegas in a way. You will never see that money again. Anyway, the machines are plentiful and work quickly. My load of laundry took just over 20 minutes and the big, industrial dryer took about ten minutes. After a quick folding session I was out of there in way less than an hour when I was expecting having to wait for an open machine for hours and hours. Can't complain about that. Why only four stars you ask? Because its a freaking laundromat! I'm not giving a fifth star to a place where people bring their dirty skivvies even though there was nothing wrong with the place. read more

The attendants are very helpful. The machines are pricey but they have a machine that does 8 loads at once for 8.75. It washed for 23 mins. I washed 3 blankets and a few sheets. Terrific job. Make sure you use your own card because the attendant will offer to use hers and if you don't use it all, you lose your money to her. Overall great service. read more

Never been to a laundromat but part of bed bug treatment is taking all of your clothes and bedding and curtains to a laundromat and have them dried at high heat for 30 minutes... this spot was perfect! They have 45 pound dryers that run at high heat for 10 minute for $0.76. I took over 8 of them at once and did all my clothes! Also I didn't know if you could use credit cards here but you CAN! Friendly and helpful staff as well. read more

Cheap, uncomplicated, quick wash! I stopped here while on vacation, and spent only about $3 to wash a tub of clothes I'd used over the past week. Tons of washers and dryers, seating, folding tables, carts for moving your laundry, and a helpful employee who helped me decide which washer made the most sense for the clothes I was washing. read more

Great laundromat and very clean. This was the first time I've been here (our washer/dryer is being installed) - the only downside is I wish the website would've stated you can only use their laundry card for services as I had already gone to the atm- got quarters and arrived ready to go. The big (not the huge one)cost $5.99 per load and the smaller running $4.99. We really couldn't decipher the cost of the dryer. All in all the employees really keep the place clean and organized. I would come back again if needed. I did like that the TVs played kid's movies - you can tell this is s family friendly place. read more

Pros: Very, very clean. Stays open until 10:30 PM Variety of different sized washers at different price points Pretty cheap to dry (.69 cents) Can rack up bonus points Wifi Coupons Cons: Pricey Lax loitering policy This is my go to laundry facility even though my apartment complex has a laundry room. I frequently do my laundry by myself and even though some rather "interesting" aka sketchy people tend to congregate there, I am never afraid. It is so brightly lite and clean and pretty welcoming to be honest. There are several tvs and they actually have the volume turned up so you can hear. read more

Helpful staff. Great quality equipment! I was able to do all of my 5 loads done in less then 2 hours!

First time using a public laundromat. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. She showed me around and introduced me to the machines. She also kept an eye on my things and added extra soap for me. The facility was very clean and well maintained. It had many sized washers and dryers for any size load you may have. I will definitely be using this place again. read more

I love this place. I've moved closer to other laundry mats and I go out of my way to come here even though the prices have gone up since I've started coming here because of the staff!!! I absolutely love the girls that work there, they are friendly helpful, and that little one that works there will remember you and can talk to you about absolutely any subject. I'm always there late so I see them clean everything. Washers and dryers are cleaned out every night!!!! What I don't like... The people that work here in my opinion are underpaid. They don't even the benefit of washing their own laundry for free. Places where you make mini wage should offer a small benefit... Even when I worked for mc Donald's I got 5 dollars of food for free a shift. Greedy owner but seriously the customer service is incredible for a laundry mat!! I will keep coming here as long as those 2 Ladies work there. Now I just feel bad because I don't even know their names. They don't know mine either, so it's all good. read more

I was originally going to give this place 4-stars but because there wifi is so damn great gonna have to bump it to 5. I came in around 7PM, to wash my bed sheets and pillow cases. Not that much people, pretty chill for the most part. On the way here from ODU, I was wondering how boring it was going to be to wait for my laundry to be done. BUT THANK GOD, the wifi was fast enough for me to play World of Warcraft. I was able to even finish a good portion of my homework. There's actually a lot of people that bring there laptops here too. Everyone is pretty much occupied doing something while they wait for their laundry. I'm not sure if they ever change the channel but Family Feud is always on everytime I'm here. Clean spot, good lighting. Plenty of seats to chill at just bring something for you to do lol. read more

A couple of years ago my washing machine took a crap. I came here one week while I was waiting for the repairman and realized this was the best place to do my college homework. From that moment on I kept coming here. It was awesome till a couple months ago. They lowered the limit you can lid on to your laundry card without triggering an ID check. Before it was 20(maybe 25). Then it was 15. Ok, that's cool but I can deal. Now I can't use a debit card at all without getting my ID check. Wtf? I can use my debit card anywhere and not get checked all the time. read more
