FANTASTIC CUSTOMER SERVICE AND PRICES!! So, I decided to go here because the reviews were the best of all the cleaners within my proximity. Fortunately, the reviews were spot on because the owner, Roland, was unbelievably friendly, professional, and more than reasonable in regards to the price he quoted me to preserve my wife's wedding dress. I'm glad I found this business because I have many more items of clothing that need to be dry cleaned and am looking forward to bringing them here to give my business to Mr. Lewis for many years to come and recommend others to do the same. read more

If you want to spend $45 to dry clean your dresses and have it returned looking far worse than before, this is a place to go. The people who work there are nice but with the amount of money the charge and the quality of work makes it an absolute no. My three dresses returned in far worse condition than before drop-off. The two pictured dresses with pleats came back with more wrinkles than before. It initially had zero pleats and had to send it back to fix it only to get returned like this. Totally unacceptable. Don't even get me started on my ruined Brooks Brothers dress that's shrunken with missing buttons now. Don't always trust the Yelp or Google reviews. This place is not somewhere I'd recommend anyone to take anything you want to wear again. read more

Friendly service, reasonable prices, turnaround time is good for dry cleaning services. Shirts are $4, suit was $18. Pay at drop off. I have used them twice now and was satisfied both times. read more

I've had both my wedding dress and another formal dress dry cleaned here and recommend them to everyone! Fast, great price, amazing service and my clothes came back in perfect condition. They are also so kind and friendly, truly a gem of a service. read more

Every other place in town was a two week delivery wait and they were able to do it the same day. Great fast service good customer service. read more

Mister Cleaners - Laundry Services Near Me - Norfolk, Virginia

I almost forgot to leave a rating! I came here in Norfolk from my residence in Chesapeake and A few days ago I brought my dress whites in to sew in my patches and get a dry cleaning and just like that a day later Misters Cleaning got it back out to me in perfect condition. If you're looking for a fast and reliable service from a true gentleman, then definitely stop by here. read more

I won't be taking my clothes here again. I had several items dry cleaned last November, and one of them was a tan coat for lighter weather. I recently took the coat out of my closet to finally wear it again because of the warmer weather, and found that there are large sections of the coat where the dye has been removed. The difference between the areas of dyed fabric and the areas where the dye has been removed are subtle because the coat is a light tan/khaki color, but in sunlight the difference is obvious. (I posted some photos of what different sections of my jacket look like here on Yelp). I brought the coat in because it had gotten mud on it and specifically asked for those areas to be focused on, but I did not think that would mean they would strip the dye from my coat. My nice $200 coat is now unwearable. I don't know how it could be fixed unless all of the dye was somehow removed from the coat so it would all be one color again. read more

On-time and affordable. I recommend them for all types of cloths.

First the good: The owner and is extremely polite and handled my issues professionally. Now for the bad: I dropped off $100 worth of dry cleaning ranging from a king size comforter to slacks and a sport coat. When I came to pick up my clothes they informed me I was missing 1 pair of slacks and said they were coming from the factory and would be there by noon the next day. When I got home I went to put away my clothes and realized that one of the pairs of slacks they gave me was not mine; so now I have 2 missing pair of slacks and someone else's clothes. When I looked at my sport coat I realized it was pressed horribly with bunching in the fabric all over it. After another week they still had not found my clothes and asked me to give them a little longer to try and get a hold of other patrons to see if my slacks had been placed in their order. After two weeks I threw in the towel and the owner reimbursed me the cost of my lost slacks. Lastly, as other people had stated, you have to pay before you drop off the clothes. This all but eliminates your ability to protect your interests. I highly recommend you seek dry cleaning services elsewhere. read more

Beware dry cleaners that make you pay before you're allowed to inspect the clothing. I had them clean a velvet blazer, and it was obvious they didn't clean it at all. When I addressed all the reasons (smelled a bit, wrinkled) the man shrugged and said too bad. I do not recommend this place! read more

I am happy with the work they did on my wedding dress (lace, satin)! It took two weeks and $120. Also very nice guy who is running it - Roland. read more

I've been coming to this dry cleaner for 4 years. I am always impressed with the quality and timeliness of the service. They're always very friendly and work with you to make sure you get what you need on time. Throughout the years they have helped me dry clean my suits, tailor my suit, give me advise on how to keep it looking great. I wouldn't go to any other cleaner. Highly recommend them to all my friends and family! read more

My husband brings his military uniforms in and this place does an incredible job. We're thankful the owner is so easy to work with. We highly recommend this dry cleaning service! read more

Outstanding service and they did a wonderful job with our clothes. I brought in my wedding dress and my fiance's tux for cleaning prior to our wedding. My gown was previously owned and had some dirt on it. It had also been packed for shipping and it needed some TLC. Mister Cleaner took care of all of it. The dress and tuxedo both came out looking fantastic, I was happy with the turn around time and their prices were great. When they found out we would be traveling to Las Vegas for our wedding I was even shown just how to fold it to get it into our luggage. The wedding is over and I will be be bringing the dress back in for cleaning and preparation for storage. A VERY satisfied customer and they'll be getting the rest of clothes needibg dry cleaning in the future. read more

We love this place and the owner and his colleague are first rate. Reasonable price excellent service

Nice people, but they stained my whites. They said it was caused by lint in the pockets, but it's clearly black around all the pockets and buttons. Not worth taking it back. read more

Wow, the best cleaners and alterations business I've ever had the pleasure to visit. Throughout multiple stops I dropped off 8 military uniforms, one suit jacket and a full sized rug. Everything came back perfect, no double creases or stains. Wonderful work and I highly recommend them to anyone. read more

I haven't yelped in many months. But I have to get back on to compliment and recommend this business. First, they are less expensive than other shops in the area. Second, they do great work. (I took my wedding dress here to get cleaned and they did an exceptional job.) Third, they are fast. Fourth, they are friendly. Finally, the owner is retired Navy, I think. Supporting a veteran who has opened his own business is important to me. This shop is the best of 3 cleaners I've tried in Norfolk. read more

We're about to go out of town so I asked that all of my husbands collared shirts be folded instead of hung up. This is usually no problem for any other cleaners. The guy wrote folded on the ticket. When I came back a week later, the clothes were not folded, but hanging. No explanation other than the person who was working the day I dropped off the clothes didn't know the cleaners didn't offer folding. Okay, so why didn't someone call me so I could pick up my clothes and take them somewhere else?! No refund or reduced rate offered for my trouble. Not coming here again! Ever! read more

Forget Albano's. I can't believe how much cheaper Mister Cleaner's is, with waaaaay timelier service. The proprieter is friendly and professional and my clothes always look great. You pay in advance, and there's no lengthy computer/input of every single item. They've never lost a piece or missed a return date. Even though I've moved from Ghent I still take my clothes here. read more

Very graceful, quick and courteous service. Used them before and it was good. Tonight however, I went there 15 minutes late mistaking them for another cleaner that closes at 6:30pm yet they still opened and accommodated me. Thanks to the new guy who was super nice and bothered with taking my order. Good prices and they do a good job as well. read more

This is my first ever dry cleaning yelp review and it is for good reason: It was an absolute pleasure doing business at Mister Cleaners. When friendly service meets mastery of services rendered, we have a slum dunk. I am in town only for a short time; I noticed a few weird marks on the suit I needed for an upcoming interview. He was more than cooperative with me for a "rush" service. My suit was returned within 36 hours undamaged and clean...that's all I could ask for. Thank you. I will surely be back if I stay in the area. read more

Nice guy. Quick quality service at low prices! Unfortunately I am moving next week so will not be close to mister cleaners but I would definitely recommend to a friend. read more

Mister Cleaners cleaned my wedding dress and did a phenomenal job! We had an outdoor wedding, so you can imagine the state the gown was in, but I got it back from them looking as good as new. Would highly recommend. read more

They did a great job and the prices are so reasonable. I will definitely be bringing my work clothes here from now on!

These guys are the best! Always make clothes look great, and their prices are fair - great job guys!

I got a last minute interview invitation and needed my suit dry cleaned with a short turn around. I went in and explained my situation and he was more than happy to help! He was genuinely excited for me getting this interview and wanted to help with me getting my suit back on time. They went the extra mile to help me out and definitely reduced some stress! They did a great job and helped me out when they really did not have to accommodate such a fast turn around - great customer service. read more

I researched and found Mister Cleaners on Yelp when I moved to Norfolk. A year ago, I needed to have my husband's formal uniform cleaned for a Friday event. I was so impressed with friendly, professional staff and quality of the cleaning service that Mr. Cleaners has received my business. I have also introduced my friends to the awesome shop. I pass many Cleaners on my way to Ghent but Mr. Cleaners will continue to be my Dry Cleaner's! read more

Great and fast service! Dropped my suit off the night before at around 5:30 and got it cleaned through a rush order by 1pm the next day! Highly recommend if you need a suit cleaned fast and done right! read more

We love Mister Cleaners. After moving here about a year ago, we tried a few cleaners but Mister Cleaners is absolutely wonderful. The owner is a very kind gentlemen, and when I have my baby with me, he comes out to the car to get my items or I can call and he'll bring out my cleaning to me. He'll do rush "orders" in a pinch, his prices are very reasonable, and I can't recommend his services enough. Just a little warning- he is not computerized so it takes a few minutes for him to get your tickets ready, but he's meticulous and we appreciate it. It's right next door to La Bella! read more

These guys are great! Every time I've been there they welcome me with a genuine greeting and appreciation for my patronage. My clothes are always done well, so I will continue to go to Mr. Cleaners. read more
