Very friendly and prompt. The cleaner is very spacious inside and can hold a line because the amount of people coming in and out its crazy!. They popular. Clothes are done correctly and they make sure they ask for your expectations so they can satisfy them. Every time I walked in they were welcoming and you can pay at pick up. Press only for a suit and 2 dress shirts was $55. read more

Churchland Cleaners - Entrance - Laundry Services Near Me - Chesapeake, Virginia

Owner was very rude and argumentative to this customer, and did it front of a customer that was getting alterations. Counter staff was also rude and did not or could not answer questions related to my needed cleaning of clothes. Would not recommend using this business read more

I've been a loyal customer here for years, and I've always brought huge volumes of clothes, with no regards for being a repeat customer. Lately, though, I've noticed the starch on my garments has become very weak, in which I did not know that you actually charge for starch that is merely, "water" and the prices keep going up with no posted price list, y'all change all the time, again with no rewards program. Every business on that side of have a loyal program, including Roses, WAWA, Beauty supply Dairy Queen, Royal Farms, Food lion, Kroger, Ross and even 7"11; not the cleaners. As a senior citizen and a veteran, I value businesses that appreciate long time customers. Many cleaners offer loyalty programs, senior discounts, or veteran appreciation pricing. I would love to continue bringing my clothes here, but I'm hoping you can consider offering something that recognizes your regular customers and improves the consistency of the cleaning. I'm better off just doing it myself, when clearly your entire family is working the business and getting paid WELL. read more

Military beware Was given one price for collar device sewing. And when I came to pick it up, the price doubled because the front desk made a "mistake." Be careful of this bait and switch. read more

I was charged for the cleaning of a dress at the price of a long coat, after I mentioned it the teller charged me more for the dress. I might as well stayed with the price of the long coat. I'm done!! read more

We been using this cleaners for over 20 years they did a good job when they're still next to Farm Fresh on route 17. Since they moved, things have not been the same. I brought in 3 pair of pants that I pinned myself like I've done for the past 20 years. When I got them back, one was not altered where I pinned it. Brought it back and one of the young Assistants (HIGH ON POWER) informed me that if they didn't pin it then I am out of luck. I told her I always pin my clothes myself like always and she stated did anybody tell you that we have to pin the pants. I stated NO and asked her what it is matter. At that point I realized I was getting nowhere with this pretend to be manager. I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS PLACE AGAIN BECAUSE OF THE COUNTER HELP THEY HIRED. VERY RUDE and didn't offer to help the situation!!! read more

I've used Churchland Cleaners for over 10 years and they do a great job, they take good care of customers clothes, if an item by an odd chance wasn't done right they try very hard to correct it also if by happenstance an item got mess up they take responsibility and try very hard to correct it because the customers come first‼I recommend Churchland Cleaners very highly‼ Mrs. Cunningham read more

Doing a great job practicing social distancing! They also handed masks out to customers.

Great experience with efficient service. Quick turnaround as well. The lady at the counter is quick on her feet with a friendly smile.

This is the only cleaners I've ever been to, like ever. So keep that in mind as I rave. They're great. Open early, close late. They even linger a few and let you in after hours if you look like you rushed after work and you really need that dress for tomorrow. They were even able to dry clean my decorative Ralph Lauren pillow. They took it apart and sewed it back together. I thought that was kinda cool.) They might be expensive; I'm not sure. If your dress has any detail on it, they call it "fancy" and charge you a little extra for its care. But these are your clothes that you think enough of to have professionally cleaned. So suck it up and come back in two days. It'll be ready, and with a smile. read more

I think the service at the Churchland Cleaners has always been really good and I've been going there for many years (disclaimer: I haven't been in a while because I live in Norfolk now, but my family stills goes here). This is a family owned business and the same people are working almost every time I go inside, which I like because they get to know you and what you need to have done. I have a few winter coats that always need dry cleaning and a large comforter. Let's all be honest; having things dry cleaning is a pain in the butt, however Churchland Cleaners is quick, inexpensive and easy to find as it is located right off of high street. read more

Today is Wednesday, June 26, 2019. I went to Churchland to pickup my laundry and dry cleaning, paid for heavy starch treatment in on my shorts but after examining the shorts once I was at vehicle, I discovered my shorts had no starch in them at all. I contacted the store manager (Jimmy), face to face he told me that I didn't understand the machine setting and that I was causing a problem. I told him that I paid for heavy starch treatment and that was not do done, he told me NOT TO COME BACK. I Requested refund for the heavy starch treatment that was not applied to my shorts and I left the store. HE WAS LOUD AND DISRESPECTFUL TO A LONG TIME CUSTOMER.. read more

Great place to go. I've tried others, but these guys are worth the extra drive I make to bring in my clothes. They take the time to count your articles when giving them back, prompt service! Always greeted warmly when coming in. read more

Nothing short of a great experience. I came to town to surprise a friend I haven't seen in 6 years. Not only did they have my 3 items done within 4 hours, but Mr. Lee offered to watch my bags when I went to go get a haircut, washed a pair of shoes that I had (and they don't do shoes). Mr. Lee and his staff were more than accommodating and I will be telling my friends in the area to utilize his services when needed. Thanks again, Mr. Lee! read more

This place is professional with that family owned feel. I love it and it's my new place for dry cleaning and sewing needs.

Wonderful service! I took my diaper bag to be cleaned - inside and out, and picked up a spotless and clean diaper bag. I spilt a meal replacement shake inside and the outside of the diaper bag had a lot of scuff marks. When I picked up my diaper bag it was like I picked up a brand new bag! And the price was extremely fair! Will definitely be back with more items! read more

good service, nice quality -- just a little expensive! Two piece women's suits -- $12.50?

My family and I have been doing business here for well over 20 years. The prices are on the the up side but service is always great.

After visiting two other seamstresses, I went to Churchland Cleaners in a last ditch effort to get my wedding dress fitted. The other seamstresses told me there was nothing they could do, but the staff at Churchland Cleaners offered to give it a try, and now my dress fits perfectly. I have never been one to write reviews about places, but I had to remark on the kindness of the staff and the wonderful job they did fixing my dress. The stitching was far more professional than the professional seamstress who had first fixed it, and they were so willing to work with me to make it perfect. Would highly recommend this place for any alteration needs! read more

I have been a customer of Churchland Cleaners for over 15 years and have received excellent service, up until today. I spoke to the woman behind the counter about repairing a large zippered dog bed (emptied without padding) and requested a quote on who much the tailor would charge to sew the hole my dog created. The tailor was busy and I was told to drop it off and someone would call me with the quote. I was very clear that I wanted the quote prior to any repair. I checked my phone messages at the end of the day and a woman from Churchland Cleaners left a message that was not clear. I returned the call, explained why I was calling and the woman said that the tailor had already fixed the bed and the cost was $25. BAD BUSINESS. I did not authorize the repair. When I went to the business the women at the counter understood the problem but the tailor was nasty to me when he was at fault for repairing prior to authorization. I told him that I would only pay him the cost of a new bed which was $14. I paid it when I should have just walked out with giving them a cent. Shame on the women who failed to make it clear to the tailor that I only wanted an estimate. It's sad to have seen the two women who work the counter hiding in the back. read more

Warning! If you value your clothing do not use this cleaners. Twice, this cleaners damaged my clothing. They ripped my shirt and tried to say it was because the material was thin. The first time, they ripped by silk scarf. They made not attempt to offer anything for ripping my shirt but tried to tell me I shouldn't buy shirts with that material! This is the worst service I have ever seen. The staff were obnoxious, rude and need to learn customer service! Warning! Warning! Unless you have clothes to give away to be torn and ripped to shreds...DO NOT use Churchland Cleaners read more
