Single burger

Take out with small counter. My third visit. First two just ok but this time I'd say a home run. Came in pre lunch rush, ordered and ate inside at counter. Burger made when ordered so hot and fresh. Really enjoyed it.

It takes a lot for me to give a rating under four stars. I know how difficult it must be, running a restaurant in this day and age, so I like to give places a lot of leeway. Bad service is ultimately the only thing that really ticks me off, and bad service is what I got during a recent visit to Oklahoma Burgers. I showed up before noon on a recent Tuesday, and the place was just about empty. (One person was waiting for their food and they were gone by the time I ordered.) I kept it simple and just got the Oklahoma Single. As I waited, more and more people started coming in, including a group of about eight people. "Whew," I thought to myself, "I'm glad I got my order in before all these customers." My relief was very short-lived, as people started getting their orders before I got mine - even though I saw them place their orders after me. Finally, I heard what I thought was my name, but it turned out to be someone with a similar-sounding moniker. (And, of course, this person also ordered after me.) Finally, a whopping 21 minutes after I placed my order, I received my food. Did I get an apology or even an acknowledgement of their mistake, the fact that they clearly forgot about my simple order? No, of course not. I ate the burger, but I was fuming so much that my hands were shaking. I wolfed the burger down as quickly as I could and got the heck out of there. I'm assuming this was a one-off, a mistake that somehow I was unlucky enough to be the center of. It would've been easy to overlook had I received even the briefest, most cursory apology. Would that have been so hard? I might return someday to see if they've ironed the kinks out in terms of the way they treat customers, but it won't be anytime soon.

Oklahoma Double Smash Burger

They have a simple menu which includes a single or double smash burger, and 3 types of fries; but the quality and taste of what they offer is top notch. They have a small standing section to eat your meal, and most of their orders are for takeout. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and they prepare orders very fast. They burgers and fries are fresh and delicious. I strongly recommend "Dirty Fries" and "Oklahoma Double Smash Burger".

Oklahoma Double ($13.00)

This burger restaurant is their second location. They soft-opened on 2024-12-03. The first location, in Mississauga, opened in Nov 2022. It is a very small restaurant, with a very small storefront; easy to miss. It is mostly a takeout restaurant, although there is a counter where you can stand and eat, if you so desire. Their menu is very small, a Oklahoma Single ($8.50) or Oklahoma Double ($13.00); the Mississauga location has more choices. They come with American cheese, grilled onions, pickles, and burger sauce, served in a potato bun. The patties are 4oz onion smash burgers. This burger style originated during the Great Depression. The thinly sliced onions are caramelized as they cook, giving the burger a sweet and savoury flavour. They do sell Crinkle Cut Fries ($5.50), Dirty Fries ($12.50), Onion Rings ($6.50), and pop ($2.50). Each burger takes about 5 mins to cook. I ordered an Oklahoma Double with Fries and onion rings. Delicious! There is no free WiFi. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible. There are no customer washrooms. There is paid neighbourhood street parking. Review 2024-253

We were curious to try this little takeout smash burger spot and it didn't disappoint. Price is reasonable and it's simple to grab a bite to eat. Not really much space to sit around but there is a counter indoors for you to stand and wolf down your burger/fries. We just had one single to share as we want to save our appetite later for more eats. The crispy patty is almost spilling out of the burger and it's so good. I mean my SO makes a pretty good burger and this is just as good without the splatters and clean up in our kitchen. Would recommend!

Solid smash burger, loved all the onions on the burger. If you don't like onions, this is not for you. Also loved the fries!

single BM ($10.75) was ok but quite greasy, beef not really flavourful so i would get a double

Bone marrow single

I can never move to Toronto, because this sloppy little bone marrow burger is something I would want to eat every day of my life, which would be significantly shorter if I ate here every day of my life.

Oklahoma Single

Efficient and delicious. Got the Oklahoma single burger. They have standing space in the store which might be blocked when it's rush hour and lots of people are waiting (small store), there's also picnic style tables outside.

Smash burger and fries very good. Too bad they don't have a place to sit. Service was ok, I got there before noon so it wasn't crowded

So the bear itself in the affogato was a solid icy chunk of milk (coz we chose the milk flavour) that just frozen. We added the affogato on top of it and while it looked aesthetic, the dessert didn't make sense at all. We were unable to break the frozen chunk or be able to mix it with the coffee and the coffee mixed with that frozen chunk submerged tasted really bad. Paying $16 for that wasn't worth it at all. The bingsu was good though. We got the mango bingsu bowl and it came loaded with mangoes and a marshmallow and an oreo cookie to make it look pretty! I don't think I'd come back to try anything else here. Was a little disappointed.

Delicious desserts, waffles ice cream, smoothies, and more. We ordered: Medium Mango Smoothie - $7.95 Simple Pleasures Waffle - $15.50 The waffle was light and fluffy and the toppings of fruit and chocolate were a great combination. I requested to be lighter on the chocolate but there was still a LOT of chocolate on our waffle. The mango smoothie was refreshing and sweet. I started going to Holy Choco when they first opened and their service was really good from some of the owner. Super attentive and caring staff. Unfortunately, it's since gone downhill since they've hired new staff and we had a number of small problems when visiting this time (dirty tables, dirty cutlery, requested if our food could be put in to go containers because they didn't want to do dishes, unfriendly, etc.) I hope they improve upon these staffing issues soon. Their seating area is good for friends and groups to loiter. Also, if you plan on bringing a laptop, they have MANY OUTLETS!!

For items: we chose strawberry, banana, halal marshmallow, waffle bites, brownie bites, and Oreo with a round of cappuccino's ($5.50 each). The interior is nicely decorated with a cute angel photo op in the back, and window bar seats and couches to choose from. Great spot for 2-4 people. The only criticism I could have was it took a while to get our order. So, it's not one of those places you can be dipping into expecting to be done in 20mins! We stayed for nearly 3 hours and enjoyed ourselves thoroughly.

I stopped by Kream after seeing all the hype on Instagram about the famous Korean "Dubai…read morechocolate." When I saw the price was $9.90 per chocolate, I was honestly a little surprised, bc it's sold under 7 per chocolate in Korea. But they were running a promotion until the 15th -- 5 for $30 -- which made it much more reasonable. I've never had the original version sold in Korea, so I can't compare it directly, but from what I've seen and heard, it seems pretty similar to what's trending there. Korean reviews are overwhelmingly positive, and people say it tastes just like the viral version. The texture is definitely chewy, just like the name suggests, and it's very sweet. Personally, it was a bit too sweet for my taste, but that's just my preference. That being said, I gave some as gifts and they absolutely loved it. So if you enjoy rich, sweet desserts -- or you're looking for something trendy and fun to share -- this would be a great choice. The shop itself is small and cozy, but very welcoming. The staff were friendly and made the experience pleasant. Overall, even though it's not exactly my personal favorite flavor-wise, I can understand the hype. It's a fun treat to try at least once, especially if you've been curious about the viral Korean Dubai chocolate trend. I'd recommend stopping by and taking advantage of the promo while it lasts!

The cube cakes are rich without being overly sweet, and you can tell care went into both texture and balance. They're also filled generously with so much cream!
