I work in High Point and have been looking for different lunch places to go that don't take too long. I saw other reviews on this place so I decided to try it and I definitely wasn't disappointed. It seems family owned and the service is good and quick. These egg rolls are amazing and honestly I would go just for them. I didn't get to get a picture of my main meal but this will definitely become a rotation choice, plus they give you great portions for your $$. Glad I tried it out!!

This is truly a hidden GEM! The front of the place is low-key. Once you enter this, you are immediately taken back but the decor. It is smaller than what I thought it would be but very comfortable and cozy. The service was impeccable! She did an outstanding job communicating with us and making us feel at home. I ordered Hibachi Chicken and shrimp. It came out perfect! The shrimp were huge and the chicken was plenty. It also came with rice and veggies The veggies tasted so fresh...damn I wish we ate were more than once before leaving. Seriously! YOU MUST GO HERE!!

Food is excellent here, however, extremely overpriced and very small portions. You can go to an actual Japanese steakhouse and get twice as much food for the same price.

Yum! Wonderful hidden slice of heaven. Hibachi steak and fried rice.

This place is a wonderful hidden gem in Archdale. The food is absolutely delicious, the atmosphere is wonderful and the owners are so very kind. The portion size was incredible and the steak is melt in your mouth good. I don't usually get hibachi steak out of fear it will be tough, but I never have to worry about that @ Okinawa!!! YUM YUM YUM!!!

Excellent local Japanese restaurant. It's great to have options like this that aren't chain restaurants. Hibachi shrimp was great.

It's ok. For dinner it's over priced for the food they give you. Don't think I will be back. Food is greasy

The sushi rolls we got were incredible (Mega Power, Westwood and Back Shrimp Killer Roll) Will definitely be back to try more of the rolls and get a full boat next time. Took out my trusty Yelp app, and something of an Asian influence sounded good to me. I found this really well rated spot not far from my location, so I decided to head over. Shipp Sushi Casual is a small restaurant located inside a strip mall next to the Wal-Mart in this area. It's non-descript, but inside, is actually decorated nicely. Lots of greenery and small touches. They do have table service, though I would have been fine just to order at the counter. There is a huge TV in there, and unfortunately for me, it was loudly blaring Fox News at the time, though the channel was changed several times while I was there. In either case, a little less volume would have been appreciated. There was a miscommunication on my order, and now that I look at the menu again, it is clear to see why. There are two sections right next to each other, "Soup Udon" and "Spicy Udon" the former is soup, the latter, is a stir-fry. That said, in the soup section there is a dish titled "Spicy Seafood Udon" and in the stir-fry section a dish titled "Spicy Udon Seafood." I ordered the latter (even pointed to it), but was brought out soup. You could see why this would be confusing, the waitress should have asked for clarity, or the menu needs to be changed. I didn't have the time to wait for an entirely new dish to be made, so I accepted the Udon soup. Now having the soup, I will say, I was very happy with the portion. The amount of veggies, noodles, and seafood made it very filling, and the broth was indeed spicy. However, I wish the broth had a more robust flavor, as opposed to just being spicy. Ultimately, I was really wanting the stir fry, and though I do like a good soup, it just didn't scratch my itch. All that said, I'd give it another try, and be very specific with what I want next time. Overall, I think they're making good hot food here, and they care about what is rolling out from the kitchen. I'll be back!

They get busy quick so arrive early. The food was great and not too salty like most hibachi places. The waitress was excellent and efficient. I ordered the filet and shrimp. Grilled exactly as I asked. Our chef was personable and attentive. The food portions were large as usual but splitting a dinner was worth it so I recommend this. The starters of coup and salad were very good, and the ginger dressing was so good! The only negative feedback I have is that this place could use a facelift. It doesn't appear to be clean just because it's old. The bathrooms were clean though. I know through Covid businesses are struggling to break even again but I hope it's in their plans for the future to remodel and/restore the inside and possibly outside.

I've never tried sushi from a conveyor belt, got food from a robot, or had a train deliver my items but it all happened today! Overall it was clean, our server Tyler was amazing, very informative and was a joy to have. I ordered strawberry fruit tea with mango poppers and was delicious. Having a boba option was nice overall. Now to the food, half the time I didn't know what I was getting and that was what made it fun. Not so fun if you have allergies though. Some of the items were mixed on the belt and there would be a few going by and then the sign would show up maybe 30 seconds later. I did order steak hibachi, jalapeno things, and some classic chicken nuggets. Grabbed a few sushi rolls from the conveyor, the ones I did have were really good. All the other items were good as well. I really enjoyed those jalapeno things. Steak hibachi was tender and seasoned well. Fruit was a hit or miss, which is typical but a nice palate cleanser. I absolutely hated the seaweed salad, it was crunchy and weird. Not my typical seaweed salad experience. The edamame was very mushy which threw me off. But we're not here for veggies or fruit it's AYCE. Now the little cake things.. whatever that tiramisu flavor looking one was so divine. I would come back just for that cake. The chocolate one was just meh. I was so preoccupied and nervous about conveyor belt sushi that I never got to order real rolls. So that's definitely on my to do list next time and If you don't eat everything they do charge for food waste! So just be particular about what you grab. Overall my experience as a first timer was fun. I ate a lot and left happy.
