*hibachi steak plate*

Not impressed at all. They have children ringing you up that don't listen to what you're saying. We order hibachi steak an we got something completely different. Ordered our food to eat in the restaurant, clarified this, still got a to go plate. Also it's not hibachi, it's just teriyaki everything.

Japanese take-out is one of my favorites and this place is an easy, close, and tasty option. The servings leave me with lunch leftovers, which is a bonus. The lady working was very pleasant and friendly, she had a table setup with games and activities to keep her son busy. The register and counter is behind plexiglas, probably still up from Covid precautions. There are many options on the menu I still need to try, but always seem to go back to my favorite, hibachi chicken!

I had the chicken and shrimp with a salad. It was good but some of the chicken was softer and harder than the other and the white sauce was runny , but other than that they give you a lot

Crab Rangoon

I am a bit of a crab Rangoon snob. This place is probably one of the best places I've had in decades. The service was super friendly and prompt - all of the food was amazing. The restaurant is super small and quaint, but does offer seating- better for takeout. Give them a try!!

Really safe Covid-19 practice.

The first thing you notice when you enter the restaurant is their commitment to the safety of their employees and customers. Unfortunately during these times contactless businesses are a must. The Hibachi Chicken shrimp and steak all were cooked exactly as requested. The ginger salad dressing was a bit bland. But for the most part we all enjoyed a good lunch. I highly recommend giving this restaurant your business.

Was really craving Japanese and the spots I wanted weren't open yet. Osaka definitely gives you the fix you need. They had partitions up and contactless payments so there is not that much interactions which was good. They are currently take out only!!

Restaurant just opened 4 days ago. Dine In or to go. We are ordering 2 chicken teriyaki's to go.

My girls and I love hibachi teriyaki etc. We had a problem because I cannot drive due to broken leg and wanted to see if they had a delivery service and they said they do not which I find surprising. I've paid for a lot of people today because I had a lot of people helping me out today. My order was simply hibachi chicken. Call I could not even eat it because it was so surely not just the chicken and the veggies as well. Very upset I don't have money to spend and I will keep that subject private. I hope this company will call me or do something to fix this problem

Japanese express to the max! Fresh. Made to order. Crispy vegetables. Fine dining even though it's an 'express' meal. Great service. Let's talk about this food. I've always wanted Japanese express to match a hibachi meal. This one brings it home. Full beautiful bright broccoli florets. Artfully ribboned carrots. Zucchini and onions grilled to perfection. A large amount of chicken and your choice of white or fried rice. Thankfully they are also mindful of food allergies. My friend is allergic to onions and they labeled the lid on her to go meal. Support this Osaka's. 6.99 chicken teriyaki! Hopefully being somewhat close to High Point University will keep this establishment in business.

This is the fort they have built around the register..

First time I went to this place I did not find them especially friendly, I asked for water and she told me I had to buy a bottle I couldn't have a cup... Also the restrooms are closed, against local ordinances... As well as they do not bring the food to the table. The food was average, nothing special. This is also my last time I will be going...

A really good local place. It's great for a quick bite to eat to go or for there. They don't have fountain drinks, but do have can and bottle drinks. Really nice owners and a large variety of options. Teriyaki sauce is great! I had the hibachi steak and you get such a big portion.

You HAVE to try this ramen place. I am drooling thinking about how incredible this spot was. My…read morebest friend and I were on a road trip from Richmond, VA to Asheville and this was the halfway point. We were heading to AVL for my bachelorette and throughout the weekend we kept going "GOD THAT RAMEN WAS SO GOOD!" We came on a Wednesday evening. It took a little to get seated and service was on the slower side, but it was worth it. There was a lot of indoor seating and we were seated at a booth. They have mens and womens restrooms at this restaurant. And a lot of free parking out front in their parking lot. We started off with an Alaska roll as an appetizer. This was really delicious! We knew we were off to a great start. I got the black garlic ramen and my best friend got the red spicy oil ramen. We were in heaven. This ramen is beyond delicious. The rich garlicy broth of mine was perfection. Each element was so yummy. I would drive the 3.5 hours back just to get this ramen again. I highly recommend going.

This was the worst food pickup experience my husband and I have ever had. My husband was treated…read moreterribly by this establishment when he went to pick up our dinner order. He (an African American male) was treated terribly from the moment he went inside. First, the receptionist acted funny toward him and non-friendly, as if he was stealing someone else's order. That was strike number 1. Then, when he got home, we realized our order was absolutely wrong. We were missing the Spider Rolls and the yellow tail. We spent almost $70 so of course, this was irritating. He called the restaurant on his way to get the missing items and once again, the receptionist was rude. She questioned if he knew what yellow tail and spider rolls looked like. Questioning and insulting his intelligence as a grown man. That was strike number 2. He asked to speak to a manager and he said there wasn't one and he would need to come tomorrow to speak to one....yeah ok. He told her that wouldn't be necessary because he was pulling up to the restaurant in about a minute. When he came in she continued to argue with him about his order and told him, he needed to bring it back...why would he bring back the items that were right in the order, when he was there for the MISSING ITEMS?! Not to mention, that's extremely unsanitary! She would not help him but instead argued so badly with him that the chef had to come out of the kitchen. The receptionist spoke to my husband as if he was a child. She talked to him as if he was a thief and a liar. Strike number 3. The chef then told my husband, he would take care of the missing items for him and to not worry. Now, why couldn't the receptions in treat him with the same respect and dignity that the chef did? I'll tell you why. She racially profiled him because of the demographics of the city where the restaurant is located. She treated him as if he was uncultured, ignorant, and a liar. We will never be back and will be sure to write every single person that matters and leave reviews all over the internet exposing this racist establishment. I will be sure that everyone knows exactly what happens when a black person enters the restaurant.

No. Seriously. 5 adults and 2 high chairs. I was hoping to slip in with a group and have fun. This seating is depressing. Oh let me not forget I waited 10 minutes at least to be seated. That wasn't so bad as I figured u had to wait on an odd numbered party to show up. I shoulda just waited into 4pm when the spot I really wanted to visit opened up. Our drinks & app service was decent. Never got our severs names but my Coke Zero was refilled without asking. Listening to the family at the table beside us chat and eat has been enjoyable while we sit here looking crazy. I've been here many times throughout the years. This has been the shortest wait to be seated. The longest wait to eat. And the most fumbled I've seen. Like who turns the table off? Loads of people in here. Plenty of people in the lobby waiting. But almost an hour between my arrival and the chef isn't even cooking? Nah. I'm good on Kabuto. Update! My medium ribeye was over cooked. I had medium. The people beside me ordered medium well. We are not together. This is why I don't order the filet because more often than not the steak gets overcooked. I typically order medium because I know the carry over will make it medium well. If you have a large group 6-10 then yes. Give this a whirl at least once. Solo dining night? Meh. Totally kid friendly too. I wanted to give this 4 stars but overcooked steak and the extra long wait took the fun out of it for me.

Kabuto is a pretty run of the mill hibachi steakhouse. The food is as good as the next place, and I…read morereally don't have too much to say about that. The rice will be fried, the meats will be cooked, and in the end, I will smother everything in enough of a mayonnaise-based white sauce that the finer variations from one hibachi place to the next don't really matter. What I do care about is the service and the entertainment. If someone is cooking in front of me, I expect them to be on their a-game. And, on my recent visit for dinner, our chef absolutely was. Though it was around 4:30 pm, so pretty early for dinner (and with smaller, quieter crowds), our chef pulled out all the tricks and was funny and engaging. Sometimes you get the sense that a chef hates his job and is just going through the motions, making you feel guilty for wanting to see an onion volcano -- that was not the case here. He was a total pro. Our waiter was also great, and struck the perfect balance between attentiveness and giving me space to enjoy my food and conversation. My drink stayed full and I never had to wait for something I needed, but I also didn't have to pause my conversation to speak to the waiter every 30 seconds, between mouthfuls of food. Like the chef, he was a total pro. I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 only because my dessert bananas at the end were cold and not even caramelized, which was super disappointing. I think the chef was in a rush to get out of there, because our table took longer than the average for him to cook the food... a couple people we were seated with kept throwing food back on the grill (ew) and asking him to cook it longer. And I mean every single food they got, not just a steak. So, his timing might have been off in terms of getting to his next table, and ultimately it came at the price of cooking the final item correctly or really at all.

After placing a call to Little Tokyo to confirm they too weren't filled to capacity, we headed there for our sushi fix, and it made me regret not having visited sooner. Little Tokyo boasts a pleasant, relaxing ambiance that made it a welcome refuge from the night's rather intense rain. The menu here is Japanese (sushi, sashimi, hibachi, etc.) albeit with some Korean and Chinese influences. The selection of sushi rolls is extensive, and quite a few of them sounded intriguing. Admittedly, the Italian (a California roll topped with white fish, tomato sauce, and cheese) was a bridge too far even for me. My wife and I came hungry and went with two apps (steamed dumplings and vegetable gyoza), four rolls, and two misos. The food was, across the board, quite good. Whereas some miso can blast you with salt, Little Tokyo's broth benefitted from an underlying richness. Our sushi was beautifully plated and tasted fresh. Of the rolls we tried, the Bulgoki (beef, crab, cucumber, and eel sauce) was my favorite. Prices here are reasonable for the quality of the food (rolls in the low-mid teens, most apps under $10), and severs are polite. The kitchen isn't lightning fast, but we didn't find the wait unreasonable. Based on ratings, I expected "good," and based on hunger levels and a desire to be out of the rain, I would have settled for "OK." Little Tokyo, however, ended up being surprisingly great.
