This place is awesome! The food is delicious, the drinks are good and affordable, and the bar staff is incredibly friendly. I had the Chicken Sammy and it was delicious. It's really hard to overstate how good a hang this place is. First of all, the name is great. I love a little humility, and keeping people's expectations low is basically my life motto. And Okay Beer actually makes excellent beer. The Suds is an easy-drinking pilsner, and I was into the Stay the Night, a delicious stout at 7% ABV. There's a nice cider on tap if you're gluten free, and a full bar if you're more into liquor. The food? Actually good. We had a delicious mountain of house-brined chicken fingers and fries (the comeback sauce will make you want to come back), a great burger, and the grilled chicken sandwich was actually stellar too and slightly healthier (I imagine). Unfortunately, wings are served only on Sundays, so we'll have to come back for those. There's bowling. If you like bowling, or even if you don't, you know what it is. But it's affordable, the shoes were in good condition, and everyone we encountered, from the bowling guru (I think that's what they are called) to the bartenders to the food counter folks were all laid back and friendly. Awesome venue for bowling. Clean. Good amount of seating around the lanes and throughout. also there's a nice outdoor patio on the front too if you just come to eat. Nice selection of food to choose from and the appetizers are large enough to share with maybe 3-4 ppl. Drinks were ok. read more

Friends recommend this small bar for some really amazing beer. I was surprised walking in the place was really small, a larger area around the bar with seating. It is connected to the bowling place next door. We sat at the bar, and had the best service from the two bartenders. I tried a few beers all so good before having a pint of their unshakable nightmare IPA .. it's a double fry hopped ipa. I ordered their taco flight, three tacos for $17. Chorizo street taco, ground chorizo cheese , onions, spicy street sauce, pickled jalapeños... delicious! BBQ pork taco, house cooked pulled pork, cheddar, red cabbage slaw, house bbq sauce, crispy onions and picked jalapeños. Fish taco was battered mahi, red cabbage slaw, pico de galio and jalapeño crema. All the tacos were so delicious! Friends ordered a salad and their smash burger. They said they were all very good. I knew Okay Beer would be a good time when I saw my family's coffee table in the seating area. Here's what I mean: my parents have that same glass coffee table, and if I dig through enough old pictures, I'll probably find couches similar to the ones at Okay. Aside from the furniture, Okay Beer is a fun experience for anyone involved. We were invited to a book club that meets at Okay, and having never been there, I thought we could give it a try, even though I didn't have time to read the book this month. Next time, I promise! Okay is located in Honeoye Falls and isn't as far away as you think. If you're driving from the east side, you can get there easily via Clover Street or East Henrietta Road and you barely even have to turn much. There's plenty of parking! Okay Beer is attached to West Main Lanes, and while we didn't bowl this time, I can see how you could have a good time here. Everything feels like it's from another time, but not in a way that makes you think an update is desperately needed. We got some of the bowling experience by sitting at a table constructed from an old lane, how cool is that? I love seeing things like that repurposed and appreciated. I had a tang-a-rang kolsch and we split the pretzels. Both options were exactly what I wanted and needed in that moment. I'd be interested to see what else Okay has on tap as the seasons change. I do wish the menu had less bacon, seeing as I don't eat pork and everything looked like it would be good. But as long as the line to order at the bar isn't long, I think it would be worth asking for things without bacon. I have to try, at the very least. Next time we visit Okay, I'll definitely read the book and get the most out of my evening. Maybe we'll even have time to bowl, you never know. It's good to have a reason to try new places and get out in the world, and with a family coffee table, Okay is definitely worth the drive. read more

I came here to bowl and drink beer, I was like okay. Had a fun time throwing bowling balls down a wooden lane and drinking beer, the ideal situation for someone looking to bowl and drink beer. I think the speed radar may have broken though because I was hurling the balls at about 24 miles per hour, but the screen was only reporting 18 miles per hour. Must have been a software issue as I have a really strong arm. Regardless, I had a fun time and would recommend this to anyone. read more

We went on a beautiful Saturday evening for some live music on the front lawn. I ordered The Local Cream ale barrel-aged version and A-Okay Czech-styled lager (pictured here). Both were fabulous but the crispy lager knocked it out of the park! Really cool atmosphere with the bowling alley and retro feel bar indoors and a great fenced-in outdoor area with some shade from large trees. We will be back! read more

I'm very much a fan of this new brewery/bowling alley! They have a variety of beers on tap & BOWLING!!! I mean what is better than that! I ordered fries with dipping sauce- the seasoning was sooo good! Can't wait to go back to order again! my favorite beer was the passion fruit Kolsch! My BF liked the English ESB. Location is convenient- very close to Honeoye Falls. Staff are so nice and friendly. It's a very laid back relaxing atmosphere with cornhole outside. Just had our son's 8 th birthday party there and it was AWESOME ! The kids and parents had a great time. They were so easy to book and super reasonable prices. More than enough space and food and lanes for what we paid for. Would recommend for a kid's part or and afternoon of good food and cocktails while bowling :) read more

The bowling alley was fun. We have used it before the previous owners owned it. We decided we would have a burger and a glass of wine. We are not beer drinkers two burgers with french fries and two glasses of wine came to $80 that to me seems just way too expensive for a burger and fries, I will also add the only choice of cheese on the burger was melted American cheese not my favorite maybe offer some other options and I think it's not gonna fly for two burgers two glasses of wine and french fries for $80 that's just way too expensive especially considering there's really no table service for ordering. You'll have to go to the bar to order they do bring it to your table . I would hope they could bring the price down a little bit. We thought the food was good just kind of pricey. read more
