The front desk no longer knows or values their customers, they are dismissive and rude. They have a few technicians that shouldn't be anywhere near nails. One in particular is Johnny...he's rough, nick's your cuticles, doesn't listen to what you want, and has very basic skills. They offer hundreds of colors, but are pushy within 22 seconds of you looking to make a choice and sit in a chair. I typically pay around $200-$220 for mani, pedi and tip...I'll be taking my business elsewhere.

I requested a full set with solar powder and the lady just went in a started doing dip, I just let her. She did not remove my cuticles, and did a really sloppy job. The shape was uneven and textured was bumpy. When doing my pedicure the other lady didn't shave down anything nor do the wax at the end although I requested it, I wasn't given any options during my visit. During check out she said it would be $65 for my nails when she told me it was going initially going to be $60. So I just went ahead and deducted it from the tip. I will not be returning. Yvonne was very efficient, accommodating, and knowledgeable once I shared some of my concerns about my nail health and lifestyle. I like how she has non- toxic products and techniques to still get a beautiful outcome yet offers the "traditional" treatments as well. Nevertheless, she built trust quickly! I was offered a beverage when I arrived and was quickly taken care of in the pedicure area. Thi was so sweet and gentle, which made it really easy to relax and actually enjoy my pedicure. Tracie freestyled my Halloween nails and SHE SLAYED! I gave her the freedom to do her thing and she absolutely delivered. What really impressed me was how quick she was without sacrificing quality. She had already prepped my nails before my time in the massage chair was even up! Both Tracie and Thi made me feel comfortable, and we had some good laughs while they worked on me. The employees at the front counter were nice. The beauticians were cordial and spoke good English. Although they often communicated in Vietnamese among themselves. It doesn't bother me. Because they're not loud like other nail salons. I brought my friend here in May. They were very accommodating because he was on a wheelchair. The aisles were wide enough for it to get through. The manicure station was built for wheelchair accessible. We started off with just nail trim ($22). Then he got curious about getting a shellac ($40). They came out so beautiful. Except, they won't come off easily like nail polish. They started to grow shorter as nails grow longer. It took him several weeks of washing and finally someone used paint solvent to remove the shellacs. Sigh... shellacking is not for every man. I haven't given up on Milano. I just need to find a right time to visit. Because I have a bruise on my toe, I waited until it got better before coming here. I ordered a classic refreshing pedicure package ($32). I am not into polish or massaging or anything fancy. The 30-minute nail treatment was good enough for me. Beautician Mary was my pedicurist. She took good care of my feet, especially that bruised toe. She was patient and friendly. My feet felt so rejuvenated and ready to do my routine park walk. I will be back in a few months. Maybe I'll bring other friends to try it.

Some cons: like any nail salon, they all have different skill sets so sometimes waiting for the technician who can do a particular skill (dip, powder, or specific designs) can be time consuming. I typically have no problems with my pedicures but my most recent visit left me slightly disappointed since the technician seemingly rushed the job and it came out looked a bit sloppy. I'll attach what I got below - but I don't feel like they are honest with the pricing. Somehow, a $35 service went to $106. I'll attach a pic of my receipt below but when I asked her to explain how French tips made the service go up $70. Her response was "well you asked for that" but like.... I feel like I got charged more than I should have. The front desk lady also said "well you didn't have to get French tips you could have just gotten your toes painted..." which yes duh I could have but I didn't want that. Also, I wasn't aware but apparently you can walk in and just say "just paint my toes", you don't have to pick one of the services from the menu? (I didn't know this but feel like that should be public knowledge). With all this and the quality coming out not the cleanest, I would not recommend this location.
