I have been a customer for some time and the service is excellent. The gentlemen who work there go above and beyond ever time I bring my vehicles in to be serviced. I will continue to be a repeat customer and will recommend them to anyone needing their services..... read more

This place is pretty great. The guys are super thorough and check on everything. I've been many times-- sometimes they say I don't need an oil change because my mileage is low and just give me the free top-up, other times they give me a laundry list of stuff I need done with my car. Regardless, I always feel like they're honest and help me, a car know-nothing, keep my vehicle in halfway decent condition! The free top-ups part is especially awesome since my car apparently gobbles up oil! They also always check on all your other fluids, tire pressure, etc, and even wash your windows :). Check for coupons on Yelp! read more

Shawn was very nice and knowledgable after seeing that we had too much oil in our car. He suggested an oil cleaning system. They even washed our windows for us. He also took a look at our oil filter and made sure all of our lights were working properly. Thank you Andre, Josh, and Shawn! read more

I've been going to these guys for a couple years now and each time I come in they always take such good care of me. Have even come in a couple times for check engine light and they check it and don't ever charge me. They also top over oil for free. Love these guys. read more

Went on a Sunday morning and there was no line. As advertised, I was in and out in 15 minutes. Service technicians all wore masks, and I didnt need to exit my car. They performed the oil change, topped off all the fluids, checked the lights, added air to all my tires, (and replaced my air filter for an additional fee). Very courteous and pleasant experience. 5 stars, and not because of the $5 off for the yelp review :) read more

I have been going here for about 7 years. Kimbe, Rich, and Davante are fantastic at their jobs. Quick service, great vibes, and they always tell it to you straight. Easily the best Oil Change spot in Berkeley. read more

Maintenance on my car is important as well being knowledgeable about preventing damages and fix it ticket. I always drive by the Oil Changers (University) as a reminder to get a maintenance check up and oil change. At first, I wasn't impress by the reviews on Yelp of this place but you can't judge a business off another's experience until you had your own. Antonio was polite and patient on the phone as in person as he answer my concern about questions of prices. The services performed by Antonio, Thamma and Richard shown great customer service and done a great good helping me understand my vehicle maintenance and needs. The prices quoted, exceeded my expectations on the high quality work was done on my car. I will be back for future services. read more

Great service. Very helpful and trustworthy. I went in for an oil change and they recommended I change some other fluids as well.

I should have listened to the other Yelpers. But these were the only guys open on a Sunday and I didn't want to take time off during the week. This was the most dishonest and aggressive oil change place I have ever been too when it comes to selling the extras. In one case the young man breathlessly came to my window saying that, at 80,000 miles I was overdue for a coolant flush. I said I would think about it. The young man proceeded to start preparing to do a coolant flush WITHOUT my approval. I had to yell out the window at him that I did not want it and then argue about it. Upon checking my owner's manual, I learned that actually I was not due for a coolant flush until 100,000 miles. They applied the same aggressive dishonest tactics to try to get me to buy an overpriced air filter. A couple of days after my oil change, I found that after inflating my tires to the incorrect pressure, they had failed to replace the valve-stem covers. A small thing? Maybe. But ask yourself this? What if for you it turns out to be the oil plug? read more

I think Giovanni is who assisted me today? Regardless, the service was super friendly and informative, and I will be back. I have a big daily round-trip commute for work, and now I feel more confident making the trek. Thank you! read more

You guys hooked up my ride!!! Alten, Rikki and Geo were so helpful! They changed my oil, replaced the oil for my transmission and changed the power steering oil. Excellent service--quick, efficient, helpful, honest, and competent. I came in because I thought my oil was looking a bit dirty. They took the time to explain that it was not that bad (showing me an example of actually dirty oil) and said I should come back in 1,000 miles since my last change was 4,000 or so ago. They still checked my fluids, topped them off, checked my tires, and inflated them, all at no cost and with a friendly demeanor. I'll be back for sure! read more

Friendly, fast and attentive service. High level of professionalism. Let me know what I needed and what I didn't (air filter, didn't, transmission fluid will need in 60k miles). Left rear brake light a little dim. read more

I go out of my way to come to this particular oil changers. There are a lot of places I could go but I keep coming back because of the quality and character of the folks who work here. It's hard to put my finger on exactly what it is, but the vibe is good, they know what they're doing, communication is clear and honest. It feels good to me to support this place and great people who work here. read more

My roommates swear by this place and lots of good reviews made me eager to get my oil changed. However, I was greeted by the most condescending person when I arrived that I had to leave only a few minutes later. As I trying to enter the service bay, the staff person with glasses and curly hair mocked the way I was turning the steering wheel to follow his rapid and confusing hand signals. To be treated so rudely was disappointing and why I cannot recommend this establishment. There are PLENTY of other places to get your car serviced that are welcoming. read more

I've been coming here for years with multiple vehicles. Always fast, cheap, and reliable. Friendly guys that know what they are doing.

I will definitely be back next time! read more

These folks are good. Fair, honesty, and customer friendly. One of the very few businesses I patronize in Berkeley on a regular basis. Too many whack jobs in positions of power. read more

Staff always friendly, fast doing good job! I trust them with my Altima & 65 Mustang.

OMG!!! I just happened to be in the area and was over due for an oil change. I called first then pulled in, Devonte greeted me while Shawn was in the background spouting off jokingly about me not knowing how to drive my mustang. I thought it was cute which brought down any concerns of the place ripping me off. Between the two, they both engaged me in friendly conversations while maintaining timely necessities. I received appropriate comments and great friendly service and as a yelp reviewer received $5 off. Happy camper is me!!! Cheers for Devonte and Shawn. I will happily stop back by for a topper or wheel refill as needed. read more
