I wished I would have read these reviews first before hiring this company. I wanted a leak fixed and the owner advised I should replace the gutters and because I just brought my home I thought I should since I knew I would need to eventually. MISTAKE!! They replaced but the original leak is still there and it's been months and they have come out a couple of times and there is still a leak then the weather turned and its been wet so now they can't do anything, told me soon as it was dry they would come back out. It's been dry for a few days and no response, I called and no response, guess they think if time pass I'll let it go and in the mean time the dripping of water is causing damage to my driveway and who knows what it's doing to the wood under the gutter. I have been patching upon patching my roof for what seems like a life time and spoke with several companies and decided to go with Ohio Roofing Solutions. Naaman came out, talked with me on patching or having the complete roof done, and let me decide what I wanted to do. Come to find out I had to replace 3 sheets of plywood because of all the patching!! I'm done patching so went with the whole roof. He told me the guys would be out and finished in a day and they were! The group of guys he has working for the company are the most polite, friendly and extremely happy group of workers I've seen. When they were done they cleaned the site from all nails and debris. I would recommend these workers to anyone needing repairs or replacement roof. They took pictures of the whole replacement and I absolutely love my new roof! I'm a proud owner! read more

Their owner is beyond unprofessional! I hired this company to remove and patch a skylight in my master bathroom that was leaking. I had no interest in a replacement because it was $1500 for a new one vs $550 to remove and close it up. The skylight was overkill to me anyways. On the day of the install I had a schedule change at work and was unable to be present upon completion. The work was done but their technician never had my wife sign a completion form nor collected their rest of the money. The work was done on April, 27, 2018. Upon me coming home, I wasn't satisfied with the look so we called back to have to looked at again. On May 1, 2018, my wife spoke with a secretary, she took down her number and said she would have the "right people" call her back. Here today, May 21, 2018, the owner of the business calls me asking to collect payment. I asked about why we haven't received a call back and all he did was go on to defend his secretary that we never called them. Was unprofessional on the phone, continued to cut me off when I was talking and threatened to put a LIEN on my home. Do not do business with this man. Stay away. Now I have to deal with him coming back out to my home to fix this. He knows nothing about customer service and it is clear by the reviews of his company online. read more

If I could I would give a negative 5!! Worst company to deal with! Moved into our new home in May chose them because lets be honest there isn't much to choose from in Central Ohio. Saw only one review and it was a bad one but thought sour grapes! Boy were they spot on. We were given a time line of 4 weeks before they could start which is understandable and then there is the rain in Columbus you can't hold that against them! But when the weather started to get better and there is no word you start to get frustrated Both my husband and I called daily no one returned our calls Finally on a Friday the supplies showed up still no call from the sales man a woman called to tell us they would start on Monday and guess what no one showed up!! Surprise! surprise! So we did some research the man who told us he was "just" a salesman for the Company is actually the owner! So finally a crew shows up on another Friday says they will have it completed that Sunday and again we get a half assed attempt they show up Sat. At 1:00 work for a couple of hours then don't show up on Sunday. Finally on July 3 after flooding their voicemail the owner calls and gives us a line of bull S&@t!!! There will be someone out that week to put the fence up!! We finally contacted our credit card company and had the charges for the fence reversed back, do not deal with this company, Do Not Believe The BS the owner puts on FB they are more than likely written by him!! read more

We chose this company because they state they are located in Groveport,  but they actually have not been at the address they claim to be located at  for over a year. There is a tattoo shop there. After I went to the location myself and the city of Groveport to see if they were actually there I called to ask where they are located and a  woman stated Groveport, I advised her that I went to the address stated and they are not in Groveport and have not been in over a year, she sounded nervous and asked if I wanted her contractor to call me, I asked her for what? Don't you know where you are located? She then said she is at another location, but still never said where. We hired them back in February to fix a leak which they still have not because he fixed something that wasn't the problem  and he didn't even do that correctly because he did  not do what was stated in the contract we signed and paid him for. So we now have brown shingles on one part of our roof, our roof is not brown by the way, damage to the area that was supposedly repaired, did not install  and we still have the original issue, the leak because he misdiagnosed the issue and he does not want to fix the problem without charging us more money. I am so glad we did not sign the other contract for our whole roof he was pushing down our throat before he ever even gave us a quote. I can only imagine what would have happened, considering we had another roofing company come out to check our roof to see if we even needed one and guess what, we didn't. They also found several things wrong with the work they did do and took pictures for me. When I contacted the owner I texted him all the pictures of what they did wrong he got very defensive. I had him in speaker phone with the roofer there so he could witness what we have been dealing with, the excuses, the lies and  how the owner treated us. He did not want to admit fault that his company did not do what they were supposed to. I would not recommend this company for any type of work. We tried working things out with him and he said he would get back to us in a couple days and we have heard nothing from him. His communication through this whole ordeal has been terrible. read more

Contrary to the other reviewers, I had a very pleasant experience with ORS. They promptly replied to my request for a quote via the website Thumbtack. They called immediately to set-up a time to come to the house that was convenient for my schedule. Naaman came to the house and was incredibly pleasant and helpful. He diagnosed the issue, even did some work for free in order to give me the best quote he could. He said he had time and was able to fix the problem right away, which he did. His quote was fair and in line with the others I had received. It was also a very HOT day and I could see how much he was sweating, but he did the job with a smile, and cleaned everything up nicely after he finished. So disappointed in this company... when he showed up, he seemed to be a man of integrity and professional. He really focused on showing me a book he had of reviews on how great this company was. We were referred to Ohio Roofing through a friend. Unfortunately we were VERY disappointed ! We had a roof repaired and a fence put in. Once we committed to start these projects , the owner never returned calls and just disappeared. Never returned phone calls or emails. We were directed to a lady who acted as if we wouldn't be able to talk to him. She took message after message. When you are spending this much money, you should be able to ask questions to the one who gives you an estimate... this was not the case. We had to hound them on getting the work done in the time we were promised. The roof repair was not done correctly the first time. I guess they assumed we would not get on top of the roof and when we requested pictures of their work , they had to come back out and actually do the work they promised. The fence we were very pleased with. But.... come to find out these were not his employees. He had contracted a team that typically contracts for Lowe's. These guys were great! They did an excellent job installing my gutters, and were very professional. They were efficient with their time, and wasted none in their motions. The size of my house, and the angles of the gutters caused them to climb their ladder at some very awkward angles, but, they were able to successfully install them in a reasonable amount of time. I very impressed with their work, and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a reputable company to replace, or repair their gutters. read more

Unbelievable service. I found these guys on Craigslist. After reading several reviews I was a little skeptical but I always noticed the owner always replied to the reviews in a professional manner and had reasonable justification for any complaint so we decided to give them a try. The office girl was professional and took the appointment. Naaman (the owner) showed up on time for the appointment to which I was late and he waited for me. The guys that installed the fence were some of the hardest working guys I've met and seriously knew their job. They worked until dark every night and through the 4th of July weekend so that my dogs didn't have to stay inside any longer. Despite a couple of spur of the moment changes I had to make they still got it done fast. The fence is absolutely beautiful and everyone that stops by loves it. I couldn't say enough about Naaman, I highly recommend him. read more

The last week of June 2016, I sent a request for bids on a new roof on my home. Ohio Roofing Solutions was one of the companies that responded and came out to provide an estimate (2nd week of July 2016). They suggested going through my insurance due to damage, assisted me with initiating an insurance claim and asked me to sign an agreement should the insurance cover the cost, I'd be locked into going with them. The insurance claim went through and I had a signed agreement by mid-September 2016. I was told that installation would be within a 4-6 week period, and that a production manager would be in touch with me within a week to discuss installation timeframe. Neither happened. After 8 weeks (mid-November 2016), I began to get frustrated by the lack of communication, actually no communication as they wouldn't respond to my messages (email or phone). Finally, when I was ready to bail, the owner reached out to me to smooth things over. He met with me (late November 2016) as told me the delay was due to 2 things: 1) takes a long time to get metal roof ordered and delivered, and 2) they were waiting for a permit. I later found out the permit excuse was a lie as they never applied for a roofing permit as the City of Lancaster (Ohio) sent a notice of violation to me (and them) in January indicating they had, in fact, not filed for a permit. At that meeting, the owner also told me that they do the installation immediately based on dates that I'd provide them (it didn't happen on any of those dates and it was over a month later that installation began). The first 3rd party crew showed up on December 13, 2016, but walked off the job an hour after arrival as the roof was too steep and challenging for them. The next 3rd party crew arrived on December 20, 2016, and it was clear they were not experienced installing metal roofs particularly on an old, historic home (with wood siding). They were watching videos on how to install certain things on the roof (I know this because I asked them). Anyway, problems with the installation continued until I had to finally end (when they failed after a reasonable amount of time to remedy). Two experienced metal roofing contractors came out to assess as well as the City of Lancaster Code Enforcement Department. Here's a summary of the inspection from the City: "We noticed several installation and craftsmanship issues. Many are visible from the ground. It is worth noting that the project is incomplete. Some of the issues could be resolved with completion. Most, however, will require removal, new product, or both. The issues consist of but are not limited to: snow guards installed upside down and almost all are cracked due to extensive force or cold weather installation, nailed flashing from metal to wood siding and caulked, screw holes in metal with no screw or sealant, missing screws in rake trim, valley and side wall trim, many of the trims were blowing around in the wind, missing valley and ridge closures, (they should have been installed prior to metal and or trim installation), varying overhang lengths at the eves ranging from 0 inches to 3 feet, ideal length is 3/4" - 1/5" depending on drip edge type, pitch and gutter type, note: this should be determined before the metal is installed and only in extreme situations should the metal be cut after installation, from the uneven, misaligned edges, it appears most metal was cut after installed on the roof, valley and eve cuts are jagged and uneven, splices in panels that were too short, warping and denting in panels, especially the ridge cap and sidewall trims, the ridge caps were not made to the roof pitch and as a result do not fit correctly, no flashing between the upper metal and the flat roof, no counter flashing around chimneys (both are leaking), limited to no venting on the main house (and existing venting was removed without new ventilation remedy), no roofing permit for Lancaster City, excessive scratches on the panel and trim finish when this should be minimal." As of March 1, 2017 - I am now told I must start over with a new roof based on all the issues and also repair the damage done to my home. I paid $6,500 up front and requested a refund, Ohio Roofing Solutions failed to provide a timely remedy or a refund. I am now pursuing legal action. My recommendation to anyone seeking a roofing contractor, do not use Ohio Roofing Solutions! read more

Originally hired this company after a recommendation from our home inspector to have them do some general work on our roof fixing nail pops, replacing some flashing and fixing some rotted facia on the dormers. I decided they had a good price and placed a $750 deposit in September. with them telling me they would be out in 2 weeks to complete the work. At the start of the 3rd week I contacted them for an update on when they would be out. At the time I was informed it would be the next week. At the end of the 4th week I reached out again and was told that their production manager would reach out to me and never did. On the 5th week I reached out again and this time spoke to the owner who told me the production manager would be reaching out to me and again nothing. Finally the last week in October 26th I told them that if they weren't out doing work by Friday the 28th I would initiate a chargeback with Amex. The production manager assured me that they would be out and even called on that Thursday to confirm. Friday the 28th at 5pm I had to call Amex to initiate the chargeback. Finally on Tuesday of the next week the production manager reached out to me to say they would be there on Wednesday. I refused the service. I understand weather delays and that projects get shifted but the total lack of communication from this company was ridiculous. Don't waste your time with these people. read more

I too wish I had read reviews on this website about this company. We would not even give a 1 star if there was less to choose from. We chose this company because we were from the area and wanted to give our business to a local company. Do not choose Ohio Roofing Solutions in Groveport for your repairs! They came and did repairs when we were not there, so we do not know what they did. They promised a roofing certification since we were selling the house. Luckily, we were able to sell the house without this. They called us telling we owed $500 more. We asked for an itemized bill for months. Work done in April 2018, now in April 2019, we finally get an invoice which they are calling an itemized bill. It lists 2 pipes, furnace collar, 1 bundle of shingles, ice and snow melt shield without any breakdowns of the individual costs of labor. For example, you get your car fixed and they show you the costs of all parts and labor hours. In addition, they will ask if you want the old parts. They said they would call and make an appointment with us to do the work. They just sneaked in there when we were not home and did the work. So we really don't know if the pipes were replaced or not. We did see that the pipes were brown, so they did use brown spray paint which was listed as one of the items. No parts were left that were replaced. You cannot not go into their office in Groveport, it is never open! We stopped there numerous times to go in and settle the bill and it was never open. This isn't a very good way to run a business.
