PAYING FOR RESULTS, NOT IMAGE. Our basement was flooding and it was determined that we needed a new drain line in order for an our sump pump to work correctly. We had a few quotes. Some more than 5K for a 100 foot drain line. When I contacted A+ for an estimate, they beat the nearest estimate by almost $1500 dollars. That's a big savings. What's the difference? The other companies who bid the job showed up in fancy jumpsuits and vinyl laminate work vans with computers inside. The guys from A+ showed up in tshirts and a red station wagon. They were polite, worked very hard, and had the job completed in two days which is what I was estimated. They also showed up to start the job within 1 business days of OUPS flagging the utilities on our property before the dig. I would recommend A+ for anyone looking for quality work at a great price. Was very pleased at the speed, quality and care they took in cleaning my gutters. The guy even came to me door to ask if i would move my car so that the leaves and dirt does not fall on it. I have a 6' privacy fence with a locking gate because I have two dogs. These guys came and cleaned the gutters while I was away and I guess climbed over into the backyard and chose to leave that way instead of the way they originally got on to the roof? They "closed" the gate behind them but obviously couldn't latch it from the front, it's not possible. They texted me a picture of the clean gutters but failed to mention anything about the gate so when I got home and let the dogs out they pushed the gate open and got out. I was really annoyed but decided that I'd still use them because they were so much cheaper than everyone else... Now they've doubled their price this year (despite the info here and their literal website name they are not $75 but $125) and for that price it's not worth hiring guys this careless. read more

Joke of a company. Gives you a day and a time frame they will be there and just never show up, no call no email no nothing. Then they show up the next day demanding pay for their "service call". As far as even threatening litigation for "wasting their time". Please do not use this company. Please find another local business to support or even go with a national chain. read more

Our basement has been flooding regularly, so we brought in a structural engineer to assess the damage, and he told us to get our gutters cleaned, along with other work that had to be done. After looking at various companies, this one came highly rated, and their website listed a nice special, so we reached out. Jerry came out a couple hours after our initial call, which was a pleasant surprise, after getting as much rain as we did last night. Same day visits are hard to come by these days, so it was much appreciated. He was very upfront about the job, time-frame and cost. After he was done, we instantly saw the benefits of his work - water came pouring out of the drainage pipe in the road. Our gutters were very backed up. He went over some basics about things to look for, ways to help remedy any potential issues, all in all, we are very pleased. They came, they delivered. Doug did a great job. We're very happy with A+ Gutters. We thought we needed both upper and lower gutters but Doug discovered that we already had guards on top and they were clean. He also noticed a bees nest that maybe blocking my drain so I'm addressing that. He did install guards on my lower drains. He showed up on time and was very professional and honest. read more

Called several times to schedule an estimate for gutter replacement and I was told that the service department would call me back to schedule. The second time I called I specifically told them that no one called me back the last time and that I thought they should be aware of that. They told me they would let service know and I can expect a call back. Never heard back. This review isn't to scare customers away but rather to let management/ownership know that they are loosing business because someone can't or won't do their job. I've moved on to another company so you lost this customer. The home is over 100 years old & in general needed repair, so when they said that we needed gutter & facia replacement. Emailed the company to clean our gutters and underground lines. Was assured that I "was on the schedule" and it would be done within 5 business days. After 2 weeks, I reached out the company and inquired as to their anticipated timeline. They assured me it would be done by the end of the next day. Called for an estimate and they didn't call me but actually came to our place at 7:30-8 pm without calling ahead of time. We own a condo and asked them to clean our gutters for the entire building. Then, they did our unit and just left the stuff from the gutters in our yard. They also just left. They didn't talk to us about payment or anything and when we asked they said they'd just send us an invoice. Unprofessional wouldn't recommend. read more

Someone came out that day and said he would have an estimate to me by that evening. Two weeks later, never got the estimate so I called back. A+ Gutters sent Rob to do our gutters. He did a good job, was efficient and polite. He told us he was a great carpenter and suggested he could do other jobs for us including building some steps, recovering our roof and other carpentry jobs we needed.Based on the gutters we agreed to have him do other jobs for us. He asked for partial payment and promised he could have our steps done on the weekend. He did not show up. He had major personal problems but assured us he could get the work done. He would show up and do something small to indicate that he had been there but no steps, counter tops not installed, etc. etc. He would ignor calls and when we did get in touch with him and asked for him to complete the jobs he contracted for he became belligerent and threatened physical harm. A+ Gutters installed a sump pump in a condo building for Colony Hill Condominiums on the west side of Columbus. The sump pump only pumped out the water one time in the crawl space under the building. The property manager is trying to contact Andrew for him to return and fix/replace the sump pump. We have left numerous voice messages and I submitted a form on his website. The crawl space now has about 10" of water plus lots of mosquitoes. I got a skin infection on my arm trying to take pictures of the water in the crawl space. This resulted in a visit to an urgent medical care facility and 10 days of antibiotics. The Health Dept. has also been contacted to spray the area. Business owner is Andrew L. read more

I called A+ Gutters after reading very positive reviews on Google. I called before they opened, simply looking to leave a message. I then emailed asking availability and a quote. Andrew called me back within half hour and said he'd be out same day. He arrived around 6:45pm and explained what all he intended to do after doing a basic clean and inspection. He also gave me some tips to deal with accumulation of debris as we have several mature trees around the property. Lastly he got back on roof and applied sealant on some corners that were dripping. I will continue to use their service twice a year based on this experience with them. read more

They cleaned my gutters and re-attached a length that continued to come away from the house. Service was incredibly fast and inexpensive. Was able to deal with me for my tenant's house and work with me from a distance. He even filled-in a hole that a woodpecker had made. Definitely recommend. read more

I'm surprised to see this business with such high ratings. We called off a sign we saw by our subdivision. The company was quick to respond via text but quoted us more than what their sign was advertising. The service man explained why our house would be more expensive and we didn't discuss further. A month or two later I get an invoice for gutter services performed. My gutters were obviously not cleaned, not to mention I have a security camera on my property and I'd know if someone had come while I was away. I texted questioning the invoice with no response, then followed up with a VM. He finally returned my call and argued that I was wrong and the service was done! He stated they had some GPS tracker to prove it our something? Anyway, when I told him I had our text message conversation on my phone which clearly shows I did not agree to a price or the service being performed he all of a sudden back tracked and said to forget the invoice. This is at the very least a very poorly run business and at the worst an attempt to scam. read more
