The "Crazy Chicken" I ordered was cold in the middle. Not lukewarm, cold. At that point, the concern isn't just quality, it's whether the food is even safe to eat.
When I brought it back, the response I got was: "What do you want me to do?" That's honestly the most alarming part of the entire experience. If you're serving deep-fried chicken and don't already know how to respond to a basic food safety issue, you shouldn't be handling food, period. The correct answer is obvious: remake the order or refund it. That's baseline competency.
Instead, they took the uneaten pieces and tossed them back in the fryer for 37 seconds (yes, I timed it). That's not fixing the problem, that's pretending to. I threw the food away immediately because at that point, there was zero trust left in how anything is handled behind the scenes.
To make things worse, I noticed the mac salad was straight from Reser's Foods. On its own, that's not a dealbreaker, but paired with everything else, it reinforces the impression that quality and care just aren't priorities here.
Best case scenario, I don't get sick tonight. That's a pretty low bar for a meal.
This was one of the most blatant "we don't care about our food or our customers" experiences I've had in a long time. I won't be back, and I'll actively tell others to avoid it. read more
