I had the chance to try Wiki-licious at the Philippine Independence Day Celebration hosted by Southwest Airlines, and wow--everything was amazing! We tried both the mango and ube malasadas, and they were absolutely delicious. The pastries were soft, fluffy, and perfectly pillowy, while the fillings were rich, flavorful, and not overly sweet. The ube was a standout for me, but the mango was just as incredible and tasted so fresh. They also served halo-halo, a popular Filipino shaved ice dessert layered with sweet fruits, jellies, beans, and topped with creamy ingredients. It was the perfect treat for a warm day and a wonderful introduction to Filipino desserts for anyone who hasn't tried it before. What made the experience even better was learning that Wiki-licious is a family-owned business. You can really feel the passion, hospitality, and care they put into everything they serve. It's always a pleasure supporting local businesses that share their culture through food. If you ever see them at a community event or have the opportunity to visit, do yourself a favor and grab a malasada (or two) and try the halo-halo as well. I'll definitely be seeking them out again. I tracked down Wiki-licious at the Polynesian Festival in Kaleidoscope Park after spotting their mouth-watering posts on Instagram, and they did not disappoint! Looking at all the flavor options online ahead of time had me so excited to try them. I ended up ordering: two regular, one mango, and one Bavarian cream. The Bavarian cream was hands-down my absolute favorite--the texture and sweetness were perfect. The mango flavor didn't have quite as much filling as I hoped for, but honestly, the malasada dough itself is so incredibly delicious, fluffy, and perfectly fried that it didn't even matter. What I appreciate most is that they clearly use their own unique recipe. This is such a cute little shop, I'm happy someone at work mentioned it. I knew, for sure, I wanted to try a malasada. Chantelle did a wonderful job, helping decide on the flavors to try. I will say, the flavors were very subtle and almost hidden. In particular, I did like the fact, they weren't overly sweet. The standout flavors, for me, were the Bavarian and coconut. I loved those. Great customer service from Chantelle. She greeted every customer and smiled the entire time I was there. I could feel the aloha spirit as I entered. The ambiance is colorful and vibrant. Customers need to be warned that these are not your typical Hawaiian malasadas. If you know, you know! These malasadas are a sugar-coated donut from a typical donut shop with filling. Don't expect a malasada like Leonard's, Kamehameha, or Punalu'u bakeries. The ordering process was smooth and easy. I customized my order on the app and provided a pickup time. The donuts were soft and fluffy with a flavorful filling. Have a toothbrush handy, the fillings are sweet. I felt like I was getting a cavity. I've been seeing purpose ice cream macarons everywhere. I finally decided to try the passion fruit guava, cereal milk, raspberry pistachio, and salted caramel. They are pricey, yet I enjoyed each one. The Aloha Maid drinks and Noms candies are ok if you want to try them. I noticed many customers purchasing shaved ice. I will have to order one when I return. My overall experience was great! I would stick with their traditional box. It's always available in-store. I enjoyed all the fillings. However, I would go with vanilla and chocolate next time. Picked up a few filled malasadas to bring up to work the next day. They have so many filling options and even seasonal flavors as well! I will say that they are much better fresh, but since my coworkers had never tried them before, they didn't know the difference. I had a large order so there was quite a bit of a wait to get them all filled so next time I may pre-order them online for pickup. The location also serves shaved ice which is perfect for the summer days, but probably won't try them since its not my type of dessert. Specifically went in to finally try a malasada. It is a pillowy, deep fried Portuguese donut that was brought to Hawaii by Portuguese immigrants. Slightly crisp on the outside but soft and pillowy on the inside and traditionally rolled in sugar while it is still warm. Wiki-Lucious sells them in boxes of 6 with flavors to chose from. If you want more variety in your boxes, it's best to pre-order so they can customize it for you. I opted for their box of 6 with 3 different flavors. Also ordered a small Summer Breeze shaved iced. Just the perfect amount of sweetness to refresh you from this smoldering Texas summer: lady behind the counter was very helpful especially knowing this is my first time. She showed me the actual size of the donuts before I commuted to how many I wanted to bring home. This small shop is very welcoming with vibrant Hawaiian pop of color where the air smells like warm sugar and island breezes. Definitely worth the drive. read more

Super excited to try this new shaved ice and donut spot. The shaved ice was pretty good, the choices of flavor are extensive and the presentation was really nice. However, it was a bit pricey We really loved the malasadas. They were super soft and each had the perfect amount of fillings. They have different combos of flavors, personal favorite was Bavarian and mango. If you order ahead, you can choose your own flavors for the box. But order early because they sell out quick! I did not know we had a malasada place in the DFW area. I met a friend here and got some malasadas before going to watch a movie. We shared a box of six and chose the flavors we wanted. They do have an extensive menu of flavors but not all flavors are available so you just choose from the ones they currently have. We did have to wait a little bit because they actually fill the malasadas with the requested flavors but they were soft and delicious, making the wait worthwhile. The location is a bit small with a few tables inside but it's clean and the staff was polite and friendly. read more

Definitely not malasadas but filled donuts. Probably filled w a tsp of filling. More bread than filling. Their regular sized malasadas are 1/2 the size of a malasadas from Hawaii and the breading tastes and smells weird. Won't being buying again. Staff however are extremely nice. read more
