Thai Tea
Britt P.

I LOVE boba tea! I didn't feel like driving to my normal spot in Irving so I decided to give this place a try since it's close to home. The place is in the Glade shopping strip shopping strip by the Chick-fil-A. I wanted to start simple with my usual Thai tea because I feel like if you get that one right then I can venture out and try more. The Thai tea missed the mark, the flavor is almost there you just have to REALLY search for it. A little too bland or watered down for me. I like my Thai tea sweet and this one just missed the mark. It almost taste like semi sweet water. I paid a little under $6 which is not bad but I usually pay a little less for a really bomb Thai tea. They have a lot of flavor options here so the others might be good, but unfortunately I wouldn't be too fast to go back and try.

The drinks were delicious!

It's important to support local businesses during this COVID19 crisis and spread the word about those that are going the extra mile. This is a sweet little shop! They are following local COVID19 guidelines inside and allowing you to stay as long as you practice safe spacing. We ordered three different drinks. They were perfect in flavor. Nice!

I have ordered from this place via Uber Eats a few times, and stuck with my "old faithful" order that I have always gotten anywhere: taro milk tea, almond milk tea, or Thai tea. This time, my brother from another mother (K) was in town... so we went in person! It's in a little strip mall so a tiny bit hard to find (or maybe I'm just blind haha). Inside it's cozy, there are a couple areas with cushioned seats, and there's even a bookshelf with reading (or studying!) material, and a couple decks of cards too. This would be an excellent "chill spot" outside of the pandemic scenario, and I'll be glad to use it as such once we get this all cleared up. Ok, to the drinks: The menu is EXTENSIVE. I've never seen a boba place with such a large menu, various bases, flavors, and add-ins. Just WOW. The prices are reasonable for all the things you can add too! I took a chance and got a taro-coconut-red bean milk tea. K got a lavender green tea. The taro-coconut-red bean flavor combination was WOW. I would've never thought to put those together and I'm so glad the folks at iTea Lounge decided to! K said his lavender green tea was very good too. The drinks were made quickly, and they were helpful pointing us to what they thought we'd like, based on other stuff we told them we'd tried elsewhere and enjoyed before. Glad we asked for recommendations! The place is also very clean and they're polite and helpful. Highly recommend and will definitely be a repeat customer!

Wow! This boba is delicious! The food came really fast, and we were treated so kindly. The place is really chill and gives a really great vibe. They also have many Asian treats like moon cakes. Only thing is, their boba is a little soft, so if the that's not your thing, keep that in mind. Would totally come back!

I just bought some tea and it's pretty good. This tea longe is nice, quiet, and quaint. Im pretty sure I'll be coming here again. This is a nice place for an initial first date meet and greet , to study, or to just relax. I do wish they offered more food items like muffins or sandwiches. Overall this tea lounge is definitely worth spending a lil time and money at. The menu is a lil pricey for tea $5, but its well worth it. The older gentleman makes the best tea/smoothie for sure, so try and go when he's there. I definitely recommend iTeaLounge, especially if you're a tea, coffee, or smothie drinker.

Very nice lounge area. Good for little groups to study. The teas are good. Not as sweet which I like but if your into sweeter things they can make it sweet for you too.

Good to know there is a tea place in this area. Welcoming vibe. Owners very nice and patient. I don't normally sit down but there are super cozy brown furniture and even chairs/table to sit down at. I work near by and definitely will be getting my Vietnamese ice coffee soon!

Been wanting to try this place for awhile and that bf finally took me! Pretty clean place. When we went it wasn't busy but it looked like there was just one guy working. I ordered the passion fruit green tea with popping boba and lychee while the bf got Thai tea. Didn't take too long for our drinks to come out. My drink was on the sweeter side. I had to wait for the ice to melt to water it down. My bfs Thai tea was really good! It wasn't too sweet and it didn't have that chalky after taste. I will be back to try their other drinks (they have a big drink menu!) with boba!

Was craving a Frappuccino and decided to go here because the other boba place I usually go to was closed. The taste was very similar and tbh even better because it wasn't as sweet. Perfect consistency and coffee flavor wasn't weak.

Thai tea with baby boba aka chopped up boba pieces.

I've definitely had better boba. I ordered a milk tea with tapioca and the flavor was pretty flat. I probably wouldn't come back.

We often get Pressed at the office as our Friday night treat. Really enjoy a lot of their juice…read moreoptions, they taste natural and refreshing. My only qualm is that I wish the drinks had 0 added sugar. The blue pineapple probiotic lemonade, one of my favorites, has 4g of added sugar that it could definitely do without. Or the dragonfruit hydration drink with 21g of added sugar...insane!! I'd imagine most people who come here, myself included, are not interested in sugary drinks but rather organic, natural products. Pressed, if you read this, please message me!! Would love to hear more about your products!

I've been to this location a few times now and I've noticed a few things that are unsatisfactory. A…read moremain issue is that even when you order online and give them ample time your order will never be ready when you get there to pick it up. Not only will it not be ready they will have not even started on it yet. And not because they're super busy... but because they haven't been up by the register in so long that they haven't even noticed the online order came in so they have to look at the order and go make your bowl and pack up your juices you ordered. I order the same bowl every time I go and order online and it's yet to have even been started before I arrive. I have also noticed that there really needs to be two people working in the front of the store at peak hours instead of just one person. When it's just one person they don't work fast enough to get orders in and bowls made and things back up very quickly. If they had two people one could be putting in orders and the other could be completing them and then when all the orders are in the register person could jump in to finish making orders. Another things I have an issue with is this: I also noticed today when I got home that my bowl I always get has a new mystery white powder sprinkled on top of the fruit. It's never been made this way before so I thought maybe it was sugar? I tasted it and it had no flavor. I tried to call the store using the number on google to ask what this mystery powder is since it's never been put on my bowl before. You can't get anyone to answer the phone. First of all, it's an automated line and every time you try to reach the person in the store it just says after a few rings that they are busy and can't get to the phone then hangs up. I called MULTIPLE times. I won't be spending my money here anymore after having consistently unsatisfactory experiences.

I was in the mood for something new and for boba. I had read about this spot and decided to stop…read moreby, and I'm happy I did. I loved the wall art, and there's plenty of seating for those who choose to dine in. What I really like about this shop is that you control the level of sweetness, and if you need to make adjustments, they can accommodate those requests. The gentleman who assisted me was very knowledgeable and well-versed on the products sold. I had: Jasmine Milk Tea w/ tapioca pearls: I didn't think this one through, as I should have. Anything that is dairy-heavy, I get a small, or I will get something else. I'm not used to jasmine tea, but because it did not have as much caffeine, that's what I chose. I found it to be a bit bitter, but that may have been due to it not being sweetened enough. I'm not sure, but I do know it isn't something I'd get again. Only due to the milk, nothing else. Mangonada: Mango pineapple slushie topped with chamoy and Tajin This was delicious! It was the perfect amount of each ingredient, and the Mango was still able to shine. I don't recall seeing this flavor combination anywhere else; usually, the mango is paired with another fruit. This will definitely be at the top of my list. Taiyaki: Nutella and Custard This is when I'd suggest you grab yourself a table and eat these while there; you don't want them to sweat while in the container. I didn't go straight home, so I had to carefully revive them in my air fryer. The custard was creamy and wasn't too sweet. I will be getting this again. For my taste buds, the Nutella was a bit too sweet. Overall, I really like LC and look forward to visiting again.

Service was friendly and quick, making the whole experience super smooth. The vibe was great too -- colorful wall art, fun games, and a chill atmosphere that makes it easy to hang out for a while. Definitely a go-to if you're craving good boba and a place that actually feels fun to be in. I also really loved the idea where if you buy one of their glass cups, each time you come back they'll take a dollar off your order when you bring it! So I'm definitely coming back!
