The best thing about ordering through UberEats/DD, if your order is wrong, they'll take care of it expeditiously. I love boba tea, but I always get the pearls and never the boba. For me, the boba taste ruins the drink and I have a hard time getting past that. Well, two of our three drinks were made with boba, and not the requested pearls. Yuck, that was a complete wash. Wow I absolutely did not like this place! My go-to order at any boba place is taro milk tea with lychee sinkers. The guy at the counter certainly charged me for the lychee sinkers and gave me tapioca pearls. The taro is that cheap, gritty crap that hangs suspended in the milk, but they charge the same price as "premium" boba shops. My second drink was a mango milk tea with mango popping pearls. I was given the correct milk tea with mango gelatin, not the popping pearls. The worker seemed to have a bad attitude and I just didn't have the time to wait for corrections today. I have ordered from this place via Uber Eats a few times, and stuck with my "old faithful" order that I have always gotten anywhere: taro milk tea, almond milk tea, or Thai tea. This time, my brother from another mother (K) was in town... so we went in person! It's in a little strip mall so a tiny bit hard to find (or maybe I'm just blind haha). Inside it's cozy, there are a couple areas with cushioned seats, and there's even a bookshelf with reading (or studying!) material, and a couple decks of cards too. This would be an excellent "chill spot" outside of the pandemic scenario, and I'll be glad to use it as such once we get this all cleared up. Ok, to the drinks: The menu is EXTENSIVE. I've never seen a boba place with such a large menu, various bases, flavors, and add-ins. Just WOW. The prices are reasonable for all the things you can add too! I took a chance and got a taro-coconut-red bean milk tea. K got a lavender green tea. The taro-coconut-red bean flavor combination was WOW. I would've never thought to put those together and I'm so glad the folks at iTea Lounge decided to! K said his lavender green tea was very good too. The drinks were made quickly, and they were helpful pointing us to what they thought we'd like, based on other stuff we told them we'd tried elsewhere and enjoyed before. I just bought some tea and it's pretty good. This tea longe is nice, quiet, and quaint. Im pretty sure I'll be coming here again. This is a nice place for an initial first date meet and greet , to study, or to just relax. I do wish they offered more food items like muffins or sandwiches. Been wanting to try this place for awhile and that bf finally took me! Pretty clean place. When we went it wasn't busy but it looked like there was just one guy working. I ordered the passion fruit green tea with popping boba and lychee while the bf got Thai tea. Didn't take too long for our drinks to come out. My drink was on the sweeter side. I had to wait for the ice to melt to water it down. My bfs Thai tea was really good! It wasn't too sweet and it didn't have that chalky after taste. Tapioca balls were a hit and miss - some were good, some were harder than they should have been. They also put in a lot of (huge chunks of) ice, which kind of bothered me. They have different types of drinks (tea, milk tea, iced and iced cream blends) and a LOT of flavors to choose from, and extra add-ins. The largest selection of boba I have encountered so far with more than 30 flavors, but also the most expensive with drinks ranging from $3.50 to $5.00+, with add-ins costing extra. However, the drink size is generous, in my opinion. I was a frequent visitor of iTea Lounge during 2013, and for a short time I would visit nearly every day. Due to my decision to cut back on spending and an odd work schedule I stopped going until today, July 31st, 2015, and their drinks are as consistent and yummy as before. My regulars are plain or almond milk tea, taro, thai, and iced Japanese green tea cream blend, all with either regular or baby boba. Boba was undercooked slightly (once), and the owners will add or cut back on the sweetness of your order if you ask. And last: the owners. A married couple that enjoys having friendly conversation, especially witb the regulars. It had been over a year since I walked into their store and they remembered what was going on in my life before I dissappeared for so long (even what job I was applying for). My family had dinner in Irving, but wanted boba for the ride back to Fort Worth. iTea isn't exactly on the way, but it had the best reviews for boba on Yelp and seemed to be one of very few places serving up boba drinks. iTea is located in a little strip mall, right off the highway, so there is plenty of parking. The shop itself is small and quaint. They have a few tables and a tv in the back. I think they also offer wifi. Their drink menu is huge, so no matter what you're in the mood for, you'll probably be able to get it here. I love jasmine milk tea, which I didn't see on the menu, but the cashier/barista was still happy to make one for me. In addition to flavored teas and milk teas, they also offer smoothies, juices and Vietnamese iced coffee. One of my favorite Vietnamese places at home makes cafe du monte coffee and I noticed that iTea sells the same brand. You can also add toppings to your drink like boba, egg pudding, mango pudding and jellies. I notice that they offer a stamp card, and was surprised to see that you only need 5 stamps to get a free drink!! The places I go to offer a free drink after 8-10 stamps... Idk if this was the best milk tea I ever had, and the boba was ok, not amazing. That being said, I compare my boba experiences to when I was living in LA and there were boba places on every block. Due to bubble tea cravings during our trip to the Dallas area, we decided to give iTea Lounge a try. Upon entering, we realized that there was a striking resemblance of the place to one of our favorite bubble tea places in the Austin area called Teapioca Lounge. We're not sure if they were a related franchise but as usual, I decided to order the Jasmine Milk Tea with tapioca. Since there was no one when we came, my drink was ready immediately after I ordered. After the first sip, we realized that they were probably the same franchise as Teapioca Lounge. The Jasmine Tea was nice and strong, and there was just enough milk not to overpower the tea flavors. The tapioca were cooked perfectly to a chewy but soft texture, but could have been slightly sweeter to complement the tea. Unfortunately, the drink was not sweetened enough even though I asked for regular sugar, which ruined the overall flavor as we took more sips and more of the ice melted. Overall, we probably won't be coming back based on the fact that our drink was not sweet enough and the higher prices of the menu. We paid almost $5 for our large drink, which was quite pricy compared to other places we've been to in the past. read more

Found this shop in the area and decided to try it out. The shop is pretty large for a beverage/cafe spot and the menu is very large with many options. I have tried the original milk tea and the green milk tea which were both pretty good. The service is very quick and has the small shop atmosphere. We have had boba tea many times in several cities.A mature woman took my order & I watched her make my drink. She got a scoop of boba which appeared sticky, she scooped some in then took some out. She poured the tea and some ice and made my other drink. The tea drink was 4.50 and not sure how much for boba but I paid over $10 for two tea drinks. When she handed it to me, the tea was not to the top (I did ask for light ice), and I could literally count the boba pearls!!! The least I've ever had. The taste was good and the boba was soft but she's pinching pennies and obviously doesn't have an objective system. She wasn't measuring, just scooping sticky boba and taking out and pouring tea to wherever she thought was good. Anyway, I will not be back.
