Newish little strip shopping area I've passed a few times passing through Bedford. Crispy clean shop. Not your chain bakery.. mom and pop. These are fancy, fun pastries. I came for croissant donuts, but all deserve a sample. I'm planning on freezing most, so I also got a box of the croissant donettes. I kinda felt like I'm cheating on my favorite family donut shop by even coming here. But we're a small community H.E.B. Those of us in H, should explore the E and B occassionally to support their community as well. Times are tough. Share the wealth. Okay so were they worth the 16 mpg, premium petrol my beasts guzzles to get here? Indubitably. (I used a $20 word there, I heard Bugs Bunny use it when I was a kid). Yes, the Croissant donut is every bite worth doing a lil cha cha.. 1, 2, 3, turn and 1, 2, 3. Might be worth 4 boots on the ground fan pop ladies. Gents? Nuh uh, stop it with the fans, you're outta bounds. These were more than worth the drive. The owner, super friendly, a bright smile adding a bit more sunshine to my morning.
