They don't seem to be allergen conscious, so I never bring my son back anything. I wish they had a menu posted somewhere on the back/side of the building for contemplation while you wait. Nonetheless, check your bag before you drive off!

Shipley's is convenient, and who doesn't love a drive-thru? I can go in my pajamas and nobody has to know. That alone earns a lot of goodwill from me. The donuts really are decent. I love going early for the warm ones, though let's be honest, this is not Krispy Kreme. The kolaches are where they shine for me. Good variety, and the ham and cheese is my favorite. I'm pretty sure I've worked my way through every donut they offer at this point. Again, decent, just not going to blow you away. Service is hit or miss at this location. Sometimes they're happy to see you, sometimes they clearly didn't get enough sleep. I don't hold it against anyone working a donut counter at 6 a.m. One actual request: please put the iced donuts in a box. As you can see from my picture, I'm out here scraping chocolate off the inside of a paper bag like a raccoon. The chocolate is too good to waste and I refuse to leave any behind. I'll keep coming back, mostly because it's convenient, and partly because of those kolaches.

OMG... absolutely disgusting…read more This morning6/29, around 6 AM, my supervisor asked me to pick up donuts for our team, which she does once or twice a month. I pulled up and was sitting in my car on the phone with my lights off. Since the shop has a see-through window, I could see the donuts and what was happening inside. I watched the cashier come from the back, wipe/clean his nose with his bare hand, and then immediately start straightening and handling the donuts with that same hand. I was completely disgusted. I started my car and left without purchasing anything. If that's what I witnessed happening in plain sight, it honestly makes me wonder about the food-handling practices customers don't see. Food safety and basic hygiene should never be overlooked, especially when you're handling food that other people are going to eat. I will absolutely NOT be returning, and I couldn't bring myself to purchase those donuts after seeing that. Very disturbing and extremely disappointing
