We decided to eat at a tabletop in the bar so we wouldn't have to wait for a table, even though the wait wasn't long. We received super-fast, courteous service from the moment we sat down. Leticia had water & menus on the table before we could blink. The bread with the whipped butter was superb! Our order was taken in a very timely manner. My wife had pasta with tomato basil sauce, stating it was tasty,,, and I ordered the fish 'n chips because my daughter had eaten there hours before us and said the fish was fresh & tasteful. I absolutely, 100% agree with her - best fish 'n chips I've had in quite awhile! Again, Leticia provided excellent service. A pet peeve of mine is a server that leaves you high & dry with your drink being empty, but not Leticia - she was spot-on, making sure my glass was full. David, the nice bartender with an impeccable handlebar mustache, stepped in to give her some assistance with bagging up our remaining food and delivering us the check. To top off our experience at Dry Dock, my wife had left her hat at the table, and David ran downstairs and out the door to return it to her. That's called paying attention to your customer's details! In this day & age, people are so quick to criticize and put down a business - I here to praise and spread the good word about our fabulous experience! Without a doubt, we'll be back again!

Our table ordered a couple of dishes: chicken and waffles, southern fried chicken, shrimp fried rice, and the hitman. The water tasted like it came straight from the water fountain outside the restaurant. Chicken was overly breaded and salty, and the corn cake was sour. I also don't know how they managed to dry out dark meat. The waffle was semi burnt. The shrimp "fried rice" was soggy, vinegary, almost sushi rice like texture, and shrimp was heavily salted. The hitman smashed burger... the hitman probably killed people with the insane amount of salt on the plate. See the theme? Lighten up on the salt unless you're trying to give your customers clogged arteries. Extremely disappointing considering all the great reviews we saw before going.
