Walked in, immediately surprised by an almost vacant stance of employees; dingy, dirty flooring and poor lighting. See pics, but the store is clearly on the demise and I would be impressed to see this business spot opened beyond 2022/23. Absolutely, hands down the clearest image of a failing, corporate store front. Throughout the store, the floors haven't seen a floor cleaning or carpet cleaning in years, aside from trash on most aisles. The merchandise stands are in disrepair, falling down, crushed and again poorly lit. The stock in this store has greatly diminished from its days of glory. Shelves are scantily dressed with items in many spots, it's best to skip this place unless you need printer paper. On the flip side, it was great to see the business offered large canvas prints, poster board, etc., etc, but no prices posted anywhere. Especially since COSTCO ceased doing this in store, I had hopes to using this service locally. Waiting patiently, the singular employee never looked up to see if I or three other customers needed any assistance in a time span of easily a minute in front of the 'Assistance Desk'. Waiting just to SEE if they were going to identify my presence, (and the employee never did), I approached and inquired about pricing for said large canvas prints. No response salutation, from the employee, no good morning, no my apologies I didn't see you..., just a curt; 'They're online'. And that was it. LOL. Went for printing & scanning services.. horrible idea to have a self serve station. Many do not know how to use the machine and there are only two. This results in a very long wait with no help. The service counter was also very busy. Maybe understaffed. I finally get to the self service machine and pay for a copy and it comes out basically blank. Wasted 16¢ and 20 minutes of my time. For printing and scanning services, GO TO UPS. It took them maybe 1 minute and no line. read more

I went in to get same day bussiness cards made. I waited any hour in line and then the guy helped me . He was nice and he said be ready by 6pm. Went back to pick them up wiated hour and 10 mins just to be told not ready by a different guy. Not right to payfor same day service and not get it. Some of the worst customer service I've experienced. Ordered some printing to be done and it wasn't done on time. I asked for the items to be cut and they weren't. I have clear emails stating what I needed and they didn't have the items ready (when in the emails they said it was ready for pickup). Frustrating since I had to wait around for 30 minutes while they were cut. They have cycled through many design center/printing managers and can say these are the most incompetent I've come accross. Will not be taking my business to this location any more. read more

This place is quite awful. The customer service is severely lacking. They have a check in computer that texts you your wait time status which helps you to determine if you can wait or maybe come back later. The text indicated 2 persons ahead of me and 10 minutes which is of course acceptable. While waiting two people came in and walked up to the counter and were immediately assisted. After 22 minutes I texted for a status update and was notified that 2 people were ahead of me and estimated wait time would be 11 minutes. My time is too valuable for this type of customer service. This review is for Ryan, an employee at the Irvington Tucson Spectrum location. My fiancé and I were in desperate need of getting funeral memorial service programs printed. We were very tired already from getting all other funeral arrangements finished over the days prior. We finally got to the store about an hour before store closing. When the self-serve copy machine wasn't doing the trick, Ryan came over and helped us. He took the file and even made a few slight adjustments to it so the design wouldn't get cut off when printed. He then printed them for us and they looked great. Ryan was very professional; respectful and understanding with us. I know it was close to their closing time. Employees might start to get impatient because they want to go home but Ryan remained patient and unphased. He did an outstanding job helping us and offered his condolences too. There's something with the lighting and mood in there that just sucks my soul out during the long wait time. I hate buying overpriced ink for the printer but I don't think I ever want to come back to any Office Max. I had to get a print here and before going I checked online for what I would have to pay and picking it up in store, but the time it'd be ready would be the next day so I just went with the files myself. For some dumb reason the price was doubled for the same job I had set up online. I honestly think the person helping me didn't know how to ring it up right and when I asked bout the price change he was rude and couldn't explain the price change for the same job. Really dumb and this office max seriously needs a new manger or someone who has some heart in them. read more

I've been ordering online pick-up print orders at the Irvington location at least 1-2 times per week for over a year now. Whether it be printing on the fly or making sure the on-screen color matches up in print, Tiffany from the print department always makes sure to fulfill my requests. read more

spent $1000.00 on a computer and 3 yr service plan for an excellent computer but the service plan which is a third party named Asurion Consumer Solutions located in Chicago is a joke it will take 3 weeks just to get a replacement mouse when I was sold this plan I was assured that I would be taken care here locally so I was lied to by Office Max employees whose only intent was to make a sale now I have to buy another mouse anyway so I can do my finals and the sorry S.O.B. manager has no heart would not even pull one off the shelf beware of the office max protection plan. read more
