Hit or miss. I live in Drexel Heights, so I have a 32 mile round trip. Sometimes the cartridges work fine. Other times, I either have to make multiple trips, or return a defective item. This week I got an HP 206x Magenta cartridge for my laser printer. As I was removing the tape the tiny plastic piece holding the chip fell oft. I couldn't figure out how to put the chip back onto the cartridge, necessitating now a 2nd trip to return the cartridge. It is a 90 minute round trip. So I will have 3 hours time invested in a product that doesn't work. On the positive side, they will either refund my money if it's less than 30 days, or replace the item. I will opt to return. It would be less time, albeit more expensive, to go to Office Max and get the cartridge there, instead of not being able to print for several days. I should have saved my old cartridge. At least I would have been able to print black and white. The staff however, gets an "A" for customer service. read more

Another win for shopping local! My ink-jet Canon printer (purchased in a dreary big-box store in 2020) started spitting out partial lines of text throughout many of my documents, and I soon was dreading entering another chain store to buy a new printer altogether. So I called Young Grami at Cartridge World for his suggestions, as I've bought ink cartridges from them for years. He suggested I bring examples of the mis-printed pages over for them to diagnose in person - in person! - and my boyfriend brought over my printer as well, since they also offer serious printer-cleaning services, in case that was needed. In the end, Young took a closer look at the printer while I chatted with owner Kathy Sawyer about the store's new, more convenient location in Midway Office Park (4500 E. I have been trading with Tucson's Cartridge World sine they opened. Chuck and his team are knowledgeable and helpful about all things pertaining to inkjet and toner cartridges. Recently my laser printer had hardware errors so I bought a new Brother all in one laser printer recommended by Chuck. It is working very well. I know what you are thinking. What in the world are you doing reviewing a cartridge shop? Well first of all, I had no idea such a shop existed. Secondly, I came here to help a friend obtain a hard to find ink cartridge who needed one immediately for a project she was undertaking, and was not able to order it online. Fortunately for her, this place had what she needed. The customer service here was great. As soon as I told them what I needed, they were on it and I walked out with one about 5 minutes later. I've have experienced inconsistency with this place over the years. Sure, they are a convenient place to go if you need a cheap ink cartridge but I have had instances where they have given me cartridges that were either borderline empty or would only last about two weeks. Then there are other instances where I exchange my cartridge and I don't have to return for 6 months - a year. It's really difficult to predict what you are going to get. The employees are generally very helpful and friendly, which is about all you can ask for at a place of business such as this. There really isn't much else to say about this place. It's pretty cut and dry with what they do and transactions never take more than a couple of minutes. Decent place and will be back again. read more

I can't say enough good things about Cartridge World here in Tucson!! Bought ink cartridges for my Canon Pixma printer a couple weeks ago, but didn't get around to installing and using until this past Sunday. Yippee, paper came out blank, without a spot of ink. Was so afraid I'd need to buy a new printer, so called Cartridge World - Juan (wonderful guy) said bring in the cartridges & he'd exchange them. I did - he said if they still didn't work to bring in the printer & he'd have a look at it. Took cartridges home, installed them and hit "Print". Lo and behold, a printed page emerged from my printer!! I didn't know Cartridge World would check out non-functioning printers, but I do now, if I ever need it. Great service, great techs, great prices...so glad they're right down the road!! read more

Amazing customer service had an ink issue and they made out better and even helped me understand why it went bad. Sad that the location on the Southside closed and that they couldn't get their hours straight- but they are worth the travel. Live that they have a lot of different sizes for my printer and refills definitely help save mula:( and they offer a loyalty program. read more

I have been shopping at this location for 4 years. I have 3 different brands of printers and copies in my office. The staff here have always been very knowledgeable and helpful. Many years ago I ran the photocopy center for a large university. I know toner, fuser, drums, etc. These guys do too. I highly recommend them. read more

This place is terrible. The folks do not know there product well, they dont stock some of the most common HP Laser toner and when ordering with them its a royal PITA. Too add insult to injury their products suck - the cartridges do not perform anywhere near OEM quality and spit out ink blots all over the place. RUN from this place unless you want to pay to have your printer professionally serviced. USE OEM cartridges because the little bit you'll save with this place does not pay for the headaches the products cause! read more

I used to love this store so much. The employee that we worked with left the company and have had trouble every since. Jennifer (said she was the manager) at the broadway office could not be more rude to folks then anyone person in retail, I have ever come across. Went to return a cartridge that was a used one. It did not prim in our printer, therefore the chip was not cleared correctly (used refilled type). Her voice became rude and loud, telling me that she sells them to so and so and this company and that. I must not know how to use them right. I told her she did not have to be rude I just want an exchange. She continued to be condescending toward the conversation and myself. At this point I asked for my money back and would just go to office max and pay the 5.00 more for new one with better customer service. By the time she was done refunding our money she was swearing and very nasty. I had called one of my employees while waiting for our money back and she would interrupt my conversation as if I was talking to her. It was the weirdest thing I have ever seen. I was not even at the counter she was doing to refund and answering the questions I was asking my employee on the phone. she also grabbed a business card off the counter and circled the e mail of the owner and told me to go ahead and call and complain. I never even asked for that. I guess she knew I was not happy. I hope you have a better day and whomever belittled you today, to make you think you had to continue the chain of nastiness, is nicer to you tomorrow. They just closed their office on Irvington, maybe it is customer service issues, that are not getting the business to keep the third store. read more
