It's been a long time since I have been in a business store. We needed blank tags with a string for attaching. We found tags with black wire. This will be fine. We have a Euro trip and a service will be handling the bags for four women between stays. So, on the tags will go the full destination. I already have a yellow luggage strap for each traveler. Kind of a team color idea. Just thinking of ways for things to go wrong. read more

Officemax - Office Equipment Near Me - Tucson, Arizona

We came here to buy a few disks. We walked around the store and couldn't find them. We asked the cashier where they were; she said she is new and doesn't know. That was it!! The service is awful! We are leaving and going next door to Walmart. I will never return! P. S. I'm not a Walmart shopper however I was delighted with the service! We asked where the disks were and the sales clerk took us to them! Nice! The best part is the disks were cheaper. read more

Officemax - Interesting to see a food section in this store. I wouldn't come here to buy food. - Office Equipment Near Me - Tucson, Arizona

Went to 5 stores looking for a computer table to fit over legs. 2 Walmart's, Best Buy, Big Lots..and finally Office Max. My good friend needed one after surgery, and I damned sure was gonna find one. office Max had just the ticket for about 40 dollars. Well worth the cost to have a smile . read more

Ran in as the were closing needed to complete a quick print job and both Brian's working at the time were extremely helpful and accommodating also very patient helping us after closing hours. Thank you so much! read more

It's an OfficeMax. It does the job. There are enough options here to find what you need at decent prices. It is small enough to be able to find what you need. It is an older store, at least it looks older. Not the cleanest store around, but certainly not dirty. It just seems "used." Since Walmart's office selection seems to be smaller with their remodeling, at least this OfficeMax is just a few yards down as an alternate. 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime of my money. 4* = Outstanding. Tucson-top-tier. Some elements not quite as good as it gets, but it still is worthy of my regular business. 3* = Good experience. I might do repeat business if it is convenient, the only option, the only one in its category, or on a whim, but would not be among the first thing to come to mind. Would definitely recommend you trying it to get your own take on it. 2* = Not so good. Would not recommend at all. Waste of money. 1* = How are they still in business? Stay away at all costs! read more

Hadn't been here in quite awhile-used to go here often for work supplies but use Amazon more often. However, I needed a printer and wanted to see them in person rather than having one shipped. They had a nice selection of printers grouped by type (laser, ink, color, black and white) which made it helpful. I was asked right away if I wanted any help. Later when I had a question, the salesperson was able to answer it right away and guide me to the right place and made a useful suggestion. They have a nice selection of items. Their prices are quite reasonable and if you sign up for the rewards card, you get discounts or offers with it. When checking out, the person was helpful in finding my rewards number even though it had been a long time. read more

This is false information. The store closes at 8 o'clock. It says it o. The door, but they need to update this site

Everyone I know likes having their own space. They like having the time to look around when they first enter a store without being smothered by store employees. My boyfriend and I went to Office Max today to get me something I needed for work. Not even a minute of us being there had gone by and we already had an employee asking us a million questions. Don't get me wrong, I think it's good that they are trying to help but that soon, I think is a bit much. Most people, if they need help, will go and find someone to help them and yes if they store employee isn't around they might get irritated but that's why employees should be in their department in case that happens. I don't know how you feel about this situation but I don't like being smothered not even minute after I walk into a store. What if I don't know what I need and I am just looking? And I know I am not the only one. read more

This morning I went to OfficeMax to have a picture for my art project enlarged. I had a wonderful experience with Michael (the Printer Supervisor)! I wanted to thank you for having such outgoing and friendly staff! I will stop going to my previous printing spot, and come here only! Kudos to Michael! read more

I bought ink for my printer here the other day. Also returned some old ink cartridges for the $2 credit. All went smoothly.

The customer service is terrible. The employees are rude and quick to give attitude when customers are asking for help, especially in the printing center. I have experienced this personally at least 5-6 times by different people and have witnessed employees being unnecessarily rude to other customers. This is the closest place to my home that I am able to print and the numerous bad experiences I have had mean that I am driving multiple miles to avoid being treated poorly. It's also worth noting that the equipment and store need an upgrade. Don't go here - it's not worth it. read more

We shopped there one time and saw the manager strutting around like she owned the place. News flash manager: as store manager, you are supposed to help coworkers and customers with purchases - or quit and get a job flipping burgers. read more

Kudos to my first amazing experience at Office Max! I'm not sure if they've stepped it up or if I got lucky that day, but Daniella in the copy center rocks! I had to do some serious copying and mailing to do and that girl got me out of that store in about 25-30 minutes. She was friendly, helpful and confident about her knowledge in what I needed her to do. Everything turned out perfectly and she completed my Fed Ex shipment per my request. Like I said, I'm not sure if I got lucky due to the store not being busy or if Daniella is just a superior employee. Either way, Office Max rates a 5 on this trip! read more

I thought the one young man working there on a Friday evening did an excellent job. I did not know guys could multitask that well. I would go there again to have my photos copied if need be. The quality was great. read more

Decent customer service, but this location doesn't offer as much variety as other locations I've been to. Many of the shelves need to be restocked, which makes this location seem kind of empty. :( I went here for Sharpies, and half the colors on their display were out of stock. Maybe I just came on an off day. ^__^ read more

Awful customer service, no carts to put items, all the carts were full of trash or stock items. When mentioned to clerk they said yeah they knew it, no attempt to get carts. One lady had to carry s big printer box around. Five staff noticed not a one offered help. Air condition not working either. All in all a poorly managed store. Will go elsewhere from now on. read more

Associate, Gabriel, actually is the one to get the 5 Star Review. He took his time to thoroughly and patiently explain to me how to downsize from my antique tower computer and set up to a very streamlined computer/monitor combo. He gave recommendations about a small printer and the pros and cons of each. He introduced me to the art of streaming (yes, I am antique) and even wrote down for me all the steps I would need to take to get out of my old system into a new system AND WITHIN MY BUDGET. When I am ready to purchase, I will definitely go to Officemax and ask for Gabriel....and you should too! GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE and a feather in OfficeMax's hat for hiring him! read more

Fax Rip-off and horrible customer service. About $13 to fax 5 papers (within the U.S.) while other local businesses charge .50 cents or less per paper within the U.S. I faxed the papers over called my insurance company to ask if they received them, which they did not get them and Office Max would not allow a re-fax without paying again. read more

This place is much cheaper than a lot of other big name chain stores. I have even compared some of their products to Amazon and they can definitely compete price wise. They have a FedEx department, you can get things laminated, copied, etc, etc. They usually always have some kind of deal going on with computer and printers as well. The staff here is friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend doing business here. read more

Horrible customer service! We dropped off 15 boxes for express shipment, asked if we beat the cut off. Were told we got them there on time. Two days later the packages were still sitting in their shop! The manager said they called us this morning to let us know they were here, and I corrected him that I called them. Then he basically said it wasn't his fault, as he doesn't work in the afternoons. read more

Goodluck trying to talk to a manager. If you call they will say their busy and never call you back.

I love coming to this location of office max. The staff is quick, efficient, and knows their products. I like to use the services center for printing needs above and beyond everyday printing. Devon is always very helpful and gives me full confidence my request will be taken care of to my standards. read more

Like other reviewers I agree that this OfficeMax is terrible. Should be called awful Max. Called for a quote on an iPhone battery replacement and the service rep put me on hold for a long time and then said it would be $5 and take 2 hours. I repeated it because I was in disbelief. He confirmed. So I drove in and went to get the battery replaced and of course it's not $5 but pushing $60. The complacency and idiocy level here is at Max here. read more

Worst Office store I have ever visited. Primarily rude and unhelpful staff on all fronts. I have tried to give them the benefit of the doubt but after today and several other visits I give up.Don't go there Best Buy next door is a class act read more

Terrible customer service. As I was shopping I heard the store manager complaining to the other employees about the poor attitudes of customers. Initially my thought was that it probably wasn't ideal to have this conversation in the aisle of the store but I also felt bad for her thinking someone had been unnecessarily rude to her or her staff. At the checkout I politely asked if a headset could be opened to co firm it's comparability with my phone before purchasing. The cashier stated without a hint of a smile that I would have to buy it then she could open it per policy. When I explained that would be more work on her part because she may have to complete a return she said that was all she could do. I paid, she reluctantly opened it, it didn't fit. I then, of course, needed to get one that did. I came directly back and there was a line of 4 people. 3 cashiers, one of whom was the complaining manager. Not one smile from the bunch. I think I know why the customers are not exactly bubbling with joy here. I will not return. read more

I recently purchased an HP ink cartridge from this store. I went home, put it in my printer and got a message that said "this is an incompatible product" I went back to Office Max within 7 days, with the receipt box and cartridge. The manager made me feel like I used the ink up and tried to return it. He would not even consider that he sold me an empty cartridge which is what happened. I so upset to be treated like that I had to sit in my car for a while to calm down. I called customer service twice for a number to the District Manager to be put on hold twice. I finally sent an email and of course have not been sent a reply. This is no way to treat a customer that you sold an inferior product to and am out money for. read more

In Tucson on business & my laptop wouldn't boot, so I was on my way to a computer repair place but came to the nearby Office Max to get a flash drive so I could grab the important files once the laptop booted. Noticed the "free tune-up" and both Brad and Marc in the Service Department got my laptop up and running, ran diagnostics, and cleaned it up. Fast, friendly, excellent service and skills. Oh, and except for the flash drive I purchased, there was no charge! I am writing this on my restored laptop. Thank you Mark! Thank you Brad! read more
