After three weeks of waiting for brochures... in-house machine broken... he did right. The hand jammed brochures came out haphazard. Effort noted. Not a professional appearance. I came here to return some Amazon packages that I had brought over from Houston. It was a pretty quick experience. I was in and out and 5 minutes and that included me buying some girl scout cookies from the adorable father-daughter duo. read more

Sent an employee to pick up ink cartridges for our printer. They were out of the full kit so they sold each color individually, cost over $400.00. Full kit from Amazon is only $102.00. Never doing business with these crooks again. read more

I mostly visit for print services, but no more. The machines they use are ancient (in terms of printers), and produce low quality output. The store's general manager can't be bothered with customer complaints about the printers, driving away business. I took mine across town. You don't care about my printing needs, so I can no longer be bothered with your printing services. I give Staples Sierra Vista 3 stars because despite their defective printing service, they have a good assortment of office supplies. read more

I went in to have some simple images (not photos) enlarged, the person working was rude and very short with me. I told her I wanted this one X2 she said"we don't do it that way, you have to tell me 100, 150 or 200 times". I told her X 2 is 200. She then tried to copy/enlarge to legal paper which would cut off about 1/3 of the image. She then came over very irritated with me and said "it has to be done on a poster, what size" I said I wasn't sure, what would it look like? Would the image be edge to edge. She says "I can't tell you that, you have to pick one of these sizes". I told her I don't know what it would come out looking like. She just flat said she couldn't help me then. Frustrated I left to get ready for work, I called the store to ask to speak to the manager, long story short I went back to the store and met with him. He was very patient with her and showed her how to work the machines and even found that one wasn't even working and explained to her that he would put in a work order for it. He made the entire experience better and saved the day. I wish I would have gotten his name, he was a perfect person for the job and should get a raise! read more

I'm a small business owner. I shop(ped) here occasionally at the Sierra Vista Staples for office supplies. Seven days ago, I bought a laptop that I needed for a specific project. It's already been set up and is sitting in its permanent location at my office, with various wires etc hooked up. By coincidence, last night I noticed on Staples.com that the price had dropped a further $20. Staples.com says "If you find your item at a lower price at Staples within 14 days, let us know and we'll refund the difference to you." It also says the refund needs to be handled in-store. Today I went into the store with my receipt. After we found someone who knew how to do a price match, I was told I had to bring in the laptop so they could get the UPC. I told them the laptop was already hooked up, and asked if I could just bring in the box. Nope, I had to bring in the laptop as well. What exactly is the point of bringing in the actual laptop? I could fill the box with rocks, tape it shut and claim I hadn't opened it yet when I brought it in so they could "get the UPC". Even better, I'm home now, and guess what? The UPC is on the receipt. You'd think after thousands of transactions, one of the three people privy to the conversation would have known this already. This is exactly the kind of Jurassic, bureaucratic nonsense that I specifically avoid putting my customers through, and why more and more of my purchases are being made online. I'm pretty well sure that if someone had actually been interested in helping me instead of generating obstacles, I'd have my $20 and would not be writing this. I'm self employed. Time for me really is money, and it's not worth my time to unhook my computer, put it in the box, and make a special trip to the store just to make another attempt at getting the refund. So farewell, Staples. Thank you for assuaging any lingering guilt I had about not buying local, at least from you. I won't be back. read more

I mailed an antique Native American arrow from here. It never arrived and UPS does not have record of it leaving the store. I think the employee must have stolen it since I purchased the mailing tube and packed and mailed it with the assistance of the employee. I called the store several times and they say they don't have it. I talked to the corporate office about a refund and it took months to process. They then sent it to UPS for refund approval. Several months later, I have not seen a refund and doubt I ever will. read more

I called this store and asked if they had a Brother Printer in stock, if I could come and pick it up. I wanted to know if the printer would work with my computer, and I gave him the model number. He said sure, I told him I was 30 miles away, he said they had it. When I drove to the store the manager told me they did not have it in stock, and he did not know who I spoke with. I will not be shopping there again. read more

Bad customer service, Long wait at registers, everything is over prices, and they have bad attitudes and they trick you into paying more, here is my story: Went to get a 18x24 picture poster printed out our local store, Sierra Vista, AZ. it was a black backdrop photo of a girl they took 2 hours to print it, most of the time the girl was on the phone. When she did get to printing it, it had white borders on it!! i gave her an image EXACTLY sized at 18x24 and she gave me a poster with a white boarder on it! when i asked her if she can take off the boarder she rolled her eyes and said she has to charge us 1$ a cut! Im sorry but this pissed me off, 1 i PAYED for a 18x24 not a 18x24 with 1 inch extra white border. 2. No were did it state that the photos will come out and need to be cut and you would have to pay more. Just seems to me that if you want to charge for a boarder cut then put it in the price and dont tell people there getting a 18x24 and not mention only AFTER you pay for extra cutting. read more

Had to go here for the top of the line Texas Instrument calculator and lo and behold, in all of town, this was the only place that carried it. The store as a whole has everything that you need, unfortunately whoever laid out the rows likes the mouse hunting for cheese model. The ceiling is warehouse high, the left side of the store has low shelves while the right side has shelves way taller than you are. No rhyme or reason, but if you have time, or you catch a clerk then you will be fine. Just bring a lunch it is a big maze. read more

Ernesto in the print and copy area was so helpful and incredibly friendly. We needed to get reprints after a snafu at at staples in Bisbee. He was accommodating and relaxed. When it came time pay, we had to remind him that we had a voucher for a set of free reprints, and he was completely cool about it. Very lovely dude! read more
