Terrible. I had to laminate 3 pages front and a back.... Showed me the coat 2.25 per lamination sheet. Charged me $14.... Said since it had a page front to back you pay to laminate both sides.... If you laminate 1 or 2 pieces of paper together you still have a full lamination sheet front and back. Crazy.. Never had that happen. Over charged. Staples next time. read more

Best Office Depot ever! I was in a major tough spot, needing business cards done within an hour. They accommodated everything that I needed and even stayed late to do it. Came here to drop off a fed ex package that already had a label. Just needed a receipt. The guy working the print center was standing waiting while something was printing, but completely ignored me. After about 15 minutes, I finally addressed him, and he said he'd be a minute. 10 minutes later, he finally took my package and didn't say a word to me as he entered in the information. The Printer Center is unreliable, either equipment is broken or the center is closed. The operating hours vary and when you ask employees when it will open they aren't sure. Not worth the trip. read more

Slightly below average experience. Came in looking for a new printer and was greeted by a worker who was up front and asked if I wanted help. I just shopped on my own and did my own research and found a printer I wanted. Went up to the register and the cashier had no idea the return policy. I asked her if she could confirm it with another worker and she didn't want to or understand why I was asking. Her hesitation and "I'm not sure" before stating a policy was not making me feel confident. I don't plan on returning, but would like to know just in case there is an issue with the printer that costs over $100. Wouldn't recommend if needing help - come with a mission and leave with just that. Fair pricing comparable to other stores I've looked at for printers. read more

Can't they get a real manager in there who understands polite useful help? And train the employees. Let me just start with.. I don't leave petty reviews. I genuinely was NOT impressed with this place's customer service. Needed to get something printed for my wedding (an urgent matter) and they straight up refused me because my paper was "too thick" to run through the printer. I asked for another option or the next best thing, they just shrugged and told me to "try doing it at home". If you need something printed, just go to FedEx Printing. They are MUCH better and were beyond ready to help! read more

Sub par customer service. I have placed similiar orders for over 10 years. These are gridded maps (not pictures) that I print on blueprint paper. The manager called me and said these are not blueprints as a blue print is not in color. I informed him that I can show him full color blueprints. I then asked if he is considering this photography. He did not answer, so I informed him that the web site specifically states not suitable for photography. He eventually did the order, but instead of doing it on the 24lb paper, he did it on thicker gloss paper. This was not what I needed, but did not have time to have it reprinted. I have used this store for inks, lamination sheets, computers, and printers. Even though more expensive. Due to this issue, I will start going to a store that I know the print manager and she has always treated me as a valued customer. read more

I'm a business owner! I came here to buy a cash register. I walked around trying to look for a cash register and couldn't find it. So I finally went up to the front desk and ask if they sold any cash register. The lady asked me, "Do you want to buy one or just look at one?" I said "BOTH"! I am a customer! Who cares what I do. They are as a really rude question! So a lady finally came and showed me to the back of where it was located. In the "expanding file". Which was kind of odd. Anyways she just showed me where it was and said, "These are the only kinds of cash register that I have. There are only 2 up top." And she walked off! Some of Customers Service they have here at Office Max! I'm standing here writing this review now. There are only 7 customers total in side the building including myself. And plenty of sales person. So my question is why are they so busy? Where they couldn't even help. Or wait for 2 mins for me to make a decision and pick one out. She walked off and didn't say anything. I am never coming here again. I finally walked for 3 mins looking for someone to help me. Finally caught someone. I didn't catch his name. But he was just clocking in. To think I have a business of my own and always come here. Very poor customer service! I would spend my money else where! Don't even bother coming! Adding: After write the review I walked up cash out. The lady at cash register asked me, "okay what's the deal with this cash register? Are you buying it?" Are you serious! I can't believe these people working here. They are very RUDE! I am definitely not coming back. It's no wonder why office supply box stores like these are closing down especially with such poor customer service. I attempted to use their print services for a rush job. My email notification said the print would be ready in about an hour. When I arrived at the store nearly 1.5 hours later the manager told me "No one has touched my job because print jobs take 24 hours to process" So either their website is wrong and the confirmation email i received was bogus or THE STORE MANAGER was misinformed. Second, no where in the checkout process was i told that my print was not an acceptable format for the type of print I ordered. So when I arrived at the store THE STORE MANAGER insisted that I pay 400% more for my print than what I had already paid online. She said "computers can't tell the difference between a photo and line drawing... they are all just PDFs" That was laughable since computers can tell the difference between the people in a picture much less a picture of a person and a line drawing. Ever been on Google image search... you can actually just search for line-drawings. So bottom line... unless stores like these get employees who actually know what they are talking about, are actually available to serve the customers and are willing to bend a tiny little bit on store policy to satisfy a customer, I would expect this store will soon be out of business too. So i went online to officedepot.com and ordered my computer chair. System said there was 2 in stock would be ready in a hour. 15 minutes later i get a text saying there was a issue call the store. The guy at the store said well you picked it up this morning. I said no i just ordered it. He was oh ya i see that. Well we dont have it and no one updated the inventory. So they have another one same maker same price its just mesh instead of leather. I said just sub it out. He said i cant the order has been cancelled. I could buy another one of that kind then the other would be refunded in 24-48 hours. I said no i just want my refund. So fast forward a week and no refund yet. So i call and get a supervisor on the phone finally. She tells me they are not able to do refunds i would have to call my bank. Well that did not sit well with me at all. So after some words from me she calls the bank. After she goes through the automated line listening to all the checks and debits in my account instead of just pressing for help. My bank gets on the line. She tries to convince my bank they have my money on hold. The bank is no i see it your merchant has it on hold. Then she is well we cant do nothing because the order has been cancelled. So after about 15 minutes of this lady trying to convince my bank they have the money not officedepot it finally sank into her head, But none the less she says there is nothing she can do to refund me my money. So after waiting already a week with no chair and no money my bank said if its not returned to my account by the end of the week they would proceed with filing some kind of charges against them and they would put my money back in my account. This has to be the sorriest excuse of a company and what they think is customer service i have ever seen. I sooooo regret now ever clicking on their website. No wonder they are on the verge of going out of business read more

Customer Service over Policy. This store sold me broken furniture. When I went to return it, they only had 1 item of the same furniture I bought left, and it was their floor model. I was told they couldn't take my broken piece and put it on their floor to sell, however it was good enough for them to sell me & let me walk out the door with it. So instead of exchanging the broken piece for the piece on their floor that was in good condition, the manager suggested I wait until their next shipment came in 2 weeks later. "Its store policy sweetie". No thank you. I took my office apart to make this purchase and I can't sit in a bare office for 2 weeks, I need to get back to work immediately. I had to call around all Nashville area stores to find what I needed. This store was NOT helpful at all & the manager is very condescending. This store is a perfect example of why I do all of my shopping at Staples. read more
