Our most recent hardware/software crisis occurred late on a Sunday evening. iEple was there within the hour and staff worked throughout the night to restore the failing system and have us up and running by daybreak. With iEple, each issue is tracked with a 'ticket' that results in an email summarizing the exact nature of the problem and the 'quick-fix' solution as well as plans or proposals for longer term management and prevention of the problems. It is reassuring to be able to file these emails into folders that create a great log book for current and future reference. Other IT services promise this type of documentation and communication, but iEple has been the first to consistently provide it. And the fees? DPC Computer Repair will always be my go to business to care for my computer. My computer was kind…read moreof chugging along and when I ran a scan , it turned out I needed a new battery. I brought the computer to Best Buy and I have to say the gentleman there was very helpful. He explained that I would have to purchase my battery since Best Buy didn't carry it . But once I had it , they would be happy to install the battery.....if I leave it there for 3 days. I am not willing to install it myself but when it arrived , I realized I did not feel comfortable leaving my computer there for that long. So , I searched for an alternative. I noticed that DPC had very high ratings so I took a chance , called and asked if I could get this done within one day. Yes, was the answer , as long as I brought it in the morning. So, I did. Just after opening, I arrived with "the patient" and the battery. The gentleman there told me to stay there and wait because it could be done very quickly. Excellent ! And it was done in less than 1/2 hour, for a very reasonable price . I didn't have to leave it for 3 days. (for a battery?) Sorry Best Buy. If repairs arise again, I know where I will go from now on.

There is one serious problem with the standard 5-point rating scale, and My Computer Guy is a…read moreperfect example of the problem. He deserves at least 7 stars, maybe eight! He is professional. He is friendly. HE is VERY knowledgable. He removed the center monitor from my three screen set up. He replaced it with a new top of the line Lenovo with windows 11, a built in webcam, etc. He loaded Windows 11, reconfigures the three monitor setup. He cheked it all out to ensure everything was working perfectly. We said goodbye and he went his way. Then...the next day he sent me an eMail just to confirm that everything was still working 100%--(which is was, and still is). Whenever I need onsite tech services I never consider calling anyone other than My Computer Guy. Doesn't that sound like a seven on the five-point scale? Yeah, I thought so too.

After about 5 years of living in a Lennar-built "smart house", I was finally done with what they…read moredid to make it start. I learned that my internet comes in from the outside, to my router, to a switch, and then to the access points throughout the house. This is the setup for businesses, colleges, etc, and not really for the home users (which must be why Lennar changed to a different setup now). For the most part, it would work seamlessly, however, once every few months, something would go wrong and it would take me a day or two (of luck) to get it running away. I was sick of it and wanted a system more like a home user even if that meant a downgrade with how it worked. I contacted My Computer Guy for an SOS, and he replied immediately. He asked for more details about what I could let me know and we made an appointment a few days later due to my schedule. On the day of, My Computer Guy showed up and was very polite, proper, and professional. Also, ironically, my internet/wifi died after our initial conversation. If Tom had one goal, it was to, at least, get my wifi back. Happy wifi, happy wife, and then I have a happy life. We both headed to the basement so he could troubleshoot the issues. To me, it was just a bunch of wires connecting somewhere, someplace. He figured it out right away and started to troubleshoot the system. He would share some tips to improve my wifi/internet. After about 30 minutes, give or take, he found the problem, fixed the problem, and helped me install a normal user-friendly wifi system. Also, he gave me some recommendations to improve the overall system and helped me set it up. Overall, I would rate this business an A+. Friendly, professional, prompt, and very knowledgeable. Will continue to contact in the future for other IT-related issues and more.
