My first reaction when I saw the "going out of business sale" was sadness. Office Depot is my go to store for office supplies. It's always been a pleasure working with the staff at an Office Depot. They've been professional and knowledgeable. When I visited, the sales had gotten up to 50% off. The store was looking at least half empty maybe more. I don't think the prices are gonna go down much more because they're gonna run out of stock. Since I was already on the market for a printer, I did decide to make a purchase and consulted with the staff about their opinion. I've already looked up online reviews of my chosen product. It was reassuring that the staffers's opinion and the online reviews were close to identical. It helps that my brother is a specialist in this area as well and his opinion jibed with both the online review and the staff. Well, that's a lot of consensus. It was 40% off, which beat the sales price of everything else out there by a tidy percentage. Effectively it may be too late to write a review about the store, because the selection of stock is so low anything I say might be gone by the time you read this. But in the end, I'm sorry that the store is going out of business and I wish the staff all my best. read more

This Office Depot is really good at cell phone screen replacement! Also computer services, including bringing a computer back to life after it had died!!!! and failed to start many times. A little coaching, guys & girls:! When you go into the store, look right & left. There is always someone at a cash register. Ask her or him to get someone to help you!! Recently we had our price sheets and gift certificates redesigned and the work is gorgeous. Rachel Long was great and really made the project fast and easy. However, the printers we contacted were real jerks. I don't know how hard it is to run some items through a printer and cut the white edges off but it must require a degree or something because each one of the printers made me feel like I just didn't have any good common sense. Heide was nothing like that. She took a look at our documents, made recommendations and suggestions on paper weight and type and generally made me feel like the savvy business owner I believe myself to be. The costs was lower than other printing companies and the turn around time was just a few days. Next time you need a print job done check her out. It really helps to have someone familiar with the process and who knows how to give you information you may need to relay to your designer in simple terms. read more

Office Depot - Best customer service from these two - Office Equipment Near Me - Napa, California

There is a severe lack of reviews for businesses in Napa, and coming from San Francisco - I've decided it's my duty to review the good the bad and the ugly here in Napa. Here goes a good review :) The review is for the copy/photo counter. The staff definately needs better training on how to use the equipment. I just wanted photos printed on photo paper from files saved on a USB I bought from there. The manager was nice though, and well versed on how to use the equipment. If you're not expecting something extraordinary, you'll do well here. Would return again for similar orders. read more

I recently stopped in to browse while waiting for traffic to die down. Like most Office Depots I have been to, it is huge, spacious, clean, and somewhat empty. However, I really enjoyed strolling through and browsing the aisles, and never felt pressured to buy anything at all. The few customers in there were also especially polite, and one sweet old lady actually stopped her cart and nodded her head to let me pass by in the aisle. Such a graceful and thoughtful gesture! I wanted to buy a few envelopes that would fit some 5 x 7 cards, and wow, the selection is huge! I got a nice 5-count pack of 6 x 9 white envelopes for $1.49. Not too bad, and a lot better than buying a huge bulk pack of envelopes that would have more envelopes than I would need. Also, I thought the store was organized well. Products were neatly stacked in shelves, and it was easy to navigate and find what I wanted. The clerk gave off a very laid-back, "gentle" atmosphere as she greeted me, asked if I needed any further help, and made sure to hand me my bag with a smile and "Have a great day". It might not seem like much, but this is the kind of politeness that disappears in packed, stressed corporate stores. It's those little actions that can make or break a person's experience, sometimes. I'd say my overall experience at this Office Depot was very relaxed, and while I could probably find better deals online, I'd say that this Office Depot really had great service, and a great environment (Heck, it IS great when you have even customers smiling and nodding at you as you walk around the store. This place is the worst!! There is NEVER enough employees. You can't get assistance and the check out lines are ALWAYS long.

I've been here several times and always find the staff friendly but the service I received tonight was exceptional. Jesse and Lambie helped me print out photos in an unconventional layout. The project was for a gift so I really wanted it to come out perfectly, and they nailed it. Patient, friendly, focused and hard-working. Worst Customer Service Ever! Ignore customers waiting to Open,

Now that both Napa post offices have limited services, Office Depot has taken some of the business. They sell stamp books. Office Depot is good for printer cartridges; at that, they excel. It can be done in a quick time. Unfortunately, when waiting for help with post office services, they tend to be otherwise occupied. One employee was on the phone while I was trying to buy stamps. Another was at work on something else. Despite it being an empty store, it took 3 employees to get stamps. Most of the time, service is better. read more

Print shop is not very efficient. If you enjoy waiting, or have plenty of games on your phone to busy yourself with... carry on. And then come back two to three times and do it again, because it wasn't right the first time. read more

I had to review since I have received such poor service at this store. No one in the copy center ( 3 people ) knew how to send a scan to email. They said the one person that could was late coming in. No apologies. On another visit someone tried selling me a modem when I needed a router and argued with me over it. Too bad they are so convenient, I can't go back. Pathetic. read more

The lady helping us was dealing with other customers, but she did not give me the impression I was on her list of priorities at all. This is the most unprofessional printing place I have ever been to. I do a lot of off-site printing for my job and rely on companies like Office Depot, Staples and Kinko's to print copies for me. I have brought them 4 printing jobs and every single one was incorrect: The problem is that even though you ask, they never send you a proof of their work. Then you get to the store and the logo is cut off, or my business cards were printed crooked. AND, 2 out of the 4 times they couldn't find my work, even though someone emailed me to tell me it was ready (again without sending a proof). They do not greet you when you walk in and the manager is just as bad, if not worse, as the employees he manages. They are rude, unprofessional and terrible printers! read more

Do not use their business center!! I've had 2 bad experiences here. The first was several years back when I had them print some birthday invitations. They came out like crap and the only response I got was "well this is what we have." I haven't returned until now. I needed some papers bound into a book and I thought I'd give them another try. BAD IDEA. I dropped off my project at 5pm and told it would be the first project completed and I could pick up at 11. It wasn't even started until 12:30, making me late turning it in. I have just had to worst experience ever for this store, Office Depot is the worst for customer service and management is not any better in fact she was worst! Couldn't find the paper I needed so "settled" on competition notebooks for more $ only to be told at check out there is No teacher discount because they were out of " teacher discount cards." Very bad experience last night trying to order a chair. Stood in line for about 10 mins, waiting for service; then, a nice young man tried to help me but he didn't know how to place the order and asked the night manager Dawn to assist me. She started walking with me over to the copy center to help me but saw another customer at the end of the line and told me that she wanted to help him first (even though I had been first in line). I stood at the copy center for another 20 mins without help, without even an acknowledgment. All of the customers who had been in line had been helped and were gone. Finally, the nice young man came along again and helped me, with the assistance of someone else. The night manager was still helping the man she "dumped me" for! I lost about 40 mins of life waiting to be helped and subjected to being treated rudely and with a great absence of customer care or service, specifically by Dawn. I called the manager Trey this morning to complain and was told that Dawn was trying to do two jobs last night and she had the best day ever working with the technology department. Unfortunately, what Trey might be overlooking is that Dawn's rudeness, unprofessionalism, and poor customer service may have lost them a customer and if it continues, will undoubtedly lose them even more customers. Customers should be valued, not treated like second class citizens. read more

A couple of weeks ago I called the Napa store to confirm that they had a particular printer in stock. When I got there though, it turned out that the guy who told me that was wrong, which was upsetting, especially because it was one of those very HOT days. But one of their employees, Carol, listened, REALLY listened to my story. That's when I started to feel better. She went on to get me a %10 discount, and said I could pick it up the next day after the delivery truck arrived. Of course the discount was nice, but the really important part was how well she paid attention. read more

Around 10:45 am today (3/6/16), I received the most impersonal and uncaring customer service from Daniel, Store Manager, at Office Depot in Napa, California. I had ordered items online and then spoke to someone at this store. I was told I could pick them up anytime as they would be stored; they had stuff dating back a year in their storeroom as they permanently kept them until they were picked up. Today I went in and was briskly told items are only kept for 48 hours and then returned to stock. I was not told this at all on the telephone by their employee. Daniel could care less and was quite robotic in his actions and words. It was futile in my trying to inform him what the employee told me as he cut me off and was not interested in what I had to say. This is and always will be viewed as very poor customer service, even more so from a store manager. I hope his fellow employees do not follow by example. Other customers in line were even showing signs of dissatisfaction towards his behavior. Negative stars for this person and store. read more
