He was rude and passed me off to a normal employee then talked in the background telling him we can't help. I asked if he was really not willing to try and gain my business over 50 dollars and he said nope and hung up the phone. Can't believe a store manager still has a job treating people like that and loosing a 800 dollars easy sale. Could have been handled way differently and I would be a returning customer.

Went to staples to make 6 copies. Charges came to more than 4.00. When I asked the young girl at…read morethe counter why she said that's the correct charge for color copies. I told her I didn't pick color. She told me the copiers are always set to color you have to change the settings to black. Since when?! I've been printing there for a while and have never had to change the settings. Looks like staples has come up with a way to make more money off of their customers. She didn't even offer to correct the bill. Very disappointed probably former customer.

As David pointed me in the direction, this RUDE female employee steps up and yells out, "Sir We Are Closed!! Its 7:05!" I wondered why I kept seeing this company announce store closures. I experienced why. I understand…read morethe retail environment is being hit heavily by the ease and convenience of online purchases if you can wait a couple of days for an item. But what I don't get is the way these places are causing their own demise. We came in for some Avery 5366 file folder labels. $65 was the approximate price for 1,500 labels. I don't need 1,500 labels; I needed perhaps 100. The price seemed unreasonable too. And it was. Looking at several different other sources the price was less than $30 in stock in stores nearby. Stores such as Walmart. So, being curious, I looked at random items and discovered that just about everything was 50% to 100% higher than it's competitors. Two things I take away from this. The first is that Office Depot's leadership is detached from what people are willing to pay for products. The second is that when I need something and Office Depot is the only option, that I am getting totally taken advantage of by their pricing. Can't say I'm not coming back because in my area they are the only option. But will feel like having a bully take your milk money. By the way. I just hand wrote on the folders. I'd rather not get robbed buying labels.
