The amount of business they gets fluctuates but most of the time when you show up, it will be just your or maybe a few people. On most visits I can be in and out within 5 minutes. They let me hang out in their store until the bus arrive for me to take home. Quite personally, I prefer to go to the UPS Store over the Post Office. Less business. Less Waiting. And most importantly, less expensive. EDIT: To further illustrate how chill the workers are here, they consented to me taking and sharing the following pictures of their business.

Typically, with online, you get questionable quality and box stores are not great quality or super cheap or super expensive. Enter Budget Office Furniture! There are three rooms, entrance with new, upstairs with a combo of new and used and then the used room. Need a new or used desk? Check. Need a conference table? Check. Bookcases, filing cabinets, office chairs, tables, credenzas, hutches and so much more. If there is something that needs to come from a catalogue or custom pieces, they have that covered. Need modular office furniture? Got that too. Great customer service, great prices on used furniture and good prices on new and custom office furniture. If you have a home office, think about upgrading to actual office furniture instead of IKEA or box store/online. I will have to rent a truck to get a couple of pieces I need to actually have a home office since I am a remote worker, need good furniture and have a professional feel.

However, when it comes to things breaking, I am completely useless and need someone to hold my hand and walk me through what needs to be done. A week ago, my daughter's iPhone just stopped working. She did nothing to cause it. She was just sitting on her bed and it started acting funny then went off altogether and we could not get it to turn back on. We got the phone 5 months ago so I knew it was still under Apple's limited warranty and I decided to take it in. I searched the Apple site for where to go get help. Simply Mac was first on the list. I guess I mistakenly assumed they were just a small apple store, but it's not related to Apple. I show up at the store and explain the situation to the associate and that any repair should be covered under warranty. First thing he does is look at the phone and ask me if I have had the screen replaced. I told him that we bought it as a brand new phone and nothing has been done to it. He actually made a comment about Verizon selling refurbished phones as new. He then looked at the water indicator light (which I had found enough online to have already have done this) and once he determined there was no water damage looked over the sides. He told me the phone was bent and that would void any warranty from Apple. He showed me the bend and I didn't see whatever it was he was seeing. He said he would take it into the back and open it up, but it already looked like bad news. He came back and said there was no damage internally, but because of the bend the repair wouldn't be covered under warranty. I asked what the repair would cost and he said $379. I then asked if we could just send it to Apple to see if they would repair it under the warranty. He told me that he has done that before and Apple just sends them back. He said maybe I could call Apple and beg them and they would go ahead and fix it. He was so cold and unhelpful that I eventually took the phone and said that it looks like I am stuck and have no other option but to buy a new phone. He told me "yeah, sorry." I left the store and the next day went to Best Buy Geek squad to get a second option. A friendly man immediately took my phone in the back to run their checks on it. He came out and told me that my phone was going to have to be sent away and it would take 16 days. I asked if it was covered under warranty and was told yes. Out of curiosity, I then asked if there was anything we could have done to have caused this. He told me we did nothing and it was just a dead phone. Lesson definitely learned.

As in they are nowhere like an actual Apple store. Here and there I'd get a staff member that'll look me up and down and not say a word. My most recent trip though had a really cool fella that asked if I needed help... and we made small talk and THAT'S how locally owned businesses should operate. It makes the customers walk away with or without a purchase with a good feeling and will guarantee that they'll be back in if there's something they are looking for. Service is everything... don't ever forget that. With that said, my favorite part of this place is their "used" gadgets. They are priced very reasonably and depending on your visit, you may score a deal of a lifetime!!! I personally have not purchased any of their used stuff as I've already have the newest of everything, but that doesn't stop me from checking them out and fighting my urges to purchase something I don't need solely because the price is so good.
