When I accepted, he then told me I have to send him the device first. As this seemed very odd, and wasn't mentioned in his original offer, I told him I would be happy to send him the device once I received the promised check. Mr Lee has now stopped answering my emails and I still haven't received a check. This is a very dishonest and frustrating way for him to handle his employee's damage to my property. There are reputable repair places in the area, this is not one of them!

We picked it up, took it home and tried to use it a few hours later and while it was now charging, there was no sound. They fixed one problem but created another. I called them and told them they needed to fix the issue they created, I also told them we would not be paying for their mistake. 2 days later, it was done, never received a call (again), we had to keep checking on them. Save yourself a lot of hassle and take your broken devices elsewhere. ***UPDATE*** In response to the owner: .....The facts are, No voice mails were left, you fixed one issue only to cause another which took days to resolve and cost us much more time, gas expense for going back and forth, wear and tear on a vehicle.I know you don't take these things into consideration so you can stop the BS. My kids and family break them pretty regularly, I will save up 3 or 4 broken ones and take them all to get fixed at the same time. I normally use cell repair shops, but I saw Batteries Plus, and I figured I would give them a try. They wanted 50-100 dollars more than any other place. I decided to give it a go with my 8th gen iPad. A little over two hundred dollars seemed steep, but, I was OK with it if they were going to use quality parts. They did it fast enough... I came back and checked it out, but I made a huge mistake. I used the power button to turn the iPad on, not the home button. This lead me to forget to test the home button. The screen works fine, but they destroyed the home button. It won't push like it did, it wobbles, and it takes 3 - 4 tries to get it to work, sometimes more. THEY HAD TO KNOW they didn't repair it correctly, yet they said nothing. I've had shops put in digitizers that had dead spots, and pitted sub-quality glass. This is just as blatant, no pride in the work they did. I paid more than $200 and received something broken in return. I set the IPad in a drawer and did not use it for a month, I get it out today and the screen has separated at the bottom edge. 2 Strikes, other shops in Greeneville and Johnson City, TN, charge up to eighty dollars less for the same service.
