Ladies at the print station need training. Very rude and unprofessional and dont know how to do anything but simple printing I guess. Gabby was upset and rude to me because she didn't know how to print my files double sided. First said I would need to come back in an hour if I wanted double sided printing. I agreed for her to print on 2 separate pages and I would glue it together. She Asked me to pay before showing me the job, I wanted to see if she got it right first before paying but she refused. This was all after the first lady said: "this is why I hate jpeg files" leaving Gabby to deal with it. I had to go to another location, the Garland one, and there it took the lady literally less than a minute to do exactly what I needed. She handed me the job and I was able to pay after making sure it was done right. read more

This happened at the Greenville and Lovers Ln., Office Depot. So today is April 14, 2025. I've never had a Yelp today. The situation at Office Depot on Greenville and lovers Lane I believe it's 511 Greenville Ave. have made me definitely want to get a Yelp. I understand yelps make people have accountability for their actions so I have created a Yelp today I went into Office Depot. I've never used that company before. I was trying to understand. How can I get a copy transferred from my iPhone so I asked a young lady her name is Gabby. How do I do this? She did explain but then when I finally got the email sent to her, it was time to go ahead and get it printed. She explained to me what we have multiple kinds of paper I said OK she said which one did I want? I said I don't know . I have never did this before her statement was that well , I don't know she said well can you just show me the options and explain it to me I've never done it before so she did kindly do that. OK so after we got everything taken care of, I said so how much is it ? She told me how much it was . I think six resumes for almost 12 bucks so I don't have much money and I saidok so because the money amount she was saying was $.85 $.31 $.22 so I'm like I don't see how that amount came out . to that so I was explaining to her. Hey could you go ahead and just explain it to me about the amount. Instantly, she became very rude kind of like undermining somewhat. she was literally mad because I asked her to explain I'm not sure how is it now that Customer Service have became so uncomfortable they put you in very uncomfortable position. I come into a store to purchase something and I don't understand your job is to explain that to me very simple. Why the attitude why the mannerisms in the facial expression like I've done something wrong to you for asking you for explanation that makes people not want to spend their money at a company that you come into and you deal with such rude people. Kevlin is the general manager I told her can you tell me where the manager is and I'll be back for my resumes I finally got to speak with him. He did come out fairly fast. I explained the situation and I told him I said she explained it to me it was just the point of the attitude that I had to deal with in order to get an explanation of how I was spending my money that's something that I didn't think I would have to go through for explanation you become undermining, rude and very ugly towards me so anyway anyway when I went back to get my resume she threw them in the trash and he stated to her I need for you to take care of her go ahead and reprint her resumes and you know do what you need to do basically and she told him that she was not going to do it this is what I'm saying automatically I've never been on a job that I've ever told anyone that I am not going to do the task in which they told me to do that's insubordination so I don't get it. I would never allow a person to undermine to disrespect a customer and I know customers can be rude and they will lie, but that was not the situation that happened here. I definitely did not deserve what happened to meand I got on. Yep just to share that because Gabby doesn't deserve to be in front of customers if you have a attitude or having a bad day you check that at the door you came to do a job and people did not do anything to you to bring to have to deal with your attitude because you're having a bad day, you learn to deal with customers accordingly Kelvin yes I would have never allowed her to stay on my floor in front of customers after she treated another customer so disrespectfully that's all I have to say. Service is lousy & gives nothing but excuses. I tried to make some copies from a flash drive & after 20 minutes it still had not printed, the person at the counter said I needed to move to another copier. I had placed $ 50.00 to copy all my documents & was told that would be placed on hold for approximately 3 days before it would be returned to my bank account. I spoke to an assistant manager that blamed it on the company for not getting their machines working properly & then told me I should have put $ 5.00 at a time!!! Came to buy a calculator. Found the area with all the nice cardboard cards to take up ro purchase. Then it went badly 10 min wait for a cashier as the only one was at the printer desk. Then then manager says they don't have the one we selected. Claimed the cardboard cards are "not representative of inventory" That is complete bull crap OD. If you don't have it you should NOT have a card to carry to the front available. You definitely should have better cashier situation And fyi we got the same calc we wanted in the parking lot for $39 less on A mazon read more

Pretty solid place for taking a crap. The restrooms are clean, well lit, and well stocked. Kudos to Office Depot for the high quality toilet paper as well. As a bonus feature the stall I happened upon had a sink in it. Awkward but cool nonetheless. The only negative was The lack of ambient music. I would highly recommend visiting another Office Supply store for printing. Tried twice to have signs printed- simple color copies. The associate attempted to change the "drum" in the printer, but the repeat was worse than the first. The associate and manager were oblivious to the issue. read more

Very sorry to see so many one stars for the Office Depot I know and love, but I'm starting to see why. It's very hard for me to get here by the time I get off work and they close. One day, I thought I had it! I arrived an hour before closing! Then I was told, "We're closing early today." Uh, ok. Bad luck. Today, before I went, I checked the website; they're open until 7. Had to fax some time-sensitive financial documents, 6 pages to two numbers. One was even a toll-free number. And being new in town, I didn't know where else to go to fax something. $26.07 AFTER TAXES??!!! Considering how cheap business phone services are these days, that's at least 98% profit. Not to mention they charge you for their own cover sheet! At least Staples doesn't charge for the cover sheet. What an absolute RIPOFF! And the store is dark, dingy, and messy to boot. He referred me to the larger Office Depot on Greenville where the salesperson was extremely unhelpful. He said they did not carry the item and would not even get up from his chair to look. Their print services manager is new on the job, but courtesy and conciliatory dialogue is key to customer service. This place must be totally hit or miss, I see other people have had great experiences here. The copy/print center staff have little expertise in printing and nowhere near the number of employees necessary. Biggest issue: The store can't deliver what you order through the online printing service, though you won't find that out until you show up to pick it up. The employees seem miserable and the whole place is a bit shabby; walking in feels like stepping back in time about a decade. The whole experience was "meh." read more

I purchased a file cabnet, put it together and have been using it as a bedside table. Perfect for what I needed until I wanted to use the bottom drawer for my files. I opened the drawer and the front of the drawer came off in my hand. Cheap cap for what I paid. Over $100. Never again. It's made out of partical board not composition board. The copy/print center is abysmal. The people working there do not know what they are doing or how to print properly. I mean I guess that's what you get from an office max, but still. Printing double sided color stumped them for about 15 minutes then it took another 15 for them to realize they jammed their printer. It took me an hour to get in & out with my 12 prints. The yelp description for two stars is 'Meh. I've experienced better.' which is what I can say about my most recent visit to Office Depot. I've never gone where I needed help, except for my last visit. I needed 7 loose sheets of thick paper for a resume/cover letter (which they sell in the printing section for around ten cents each). I expected this visit to take less than 5 minutes. It took 15 minutes. There were two people working in the print section, one was helping a customer but the other was watching something print. Literally, watching paper come out of the printer. I can see how this is an important part of the printing job, but had someone said to me 'Can I help you' and realized I need 7 loose sheets of paper,she could have gotten back to printer-watching in about 20 seconds. It took around 12 minutes for someone to finally ask if I needed help. No, I just want to stand here and watch you watch the printer.. of course I need help. She got the paper I needed in about 20 seconds and handed it to me so that I could then wait in the check out line to pay and leave. Meh. I've experienced better. read more

Easy layout, staff bugs me every time I'm trying to run in and out, but they are just doing their job, making sure I have what I need, if I need help, or a rewards card.
