If you're gonna order pizza or chicken wings please know that it will take like an hour and it might even still take a while if you want the pizza a little crispy which o recommend bc they have small oven at the bar that takes forever to heat up. Went there with my wife after work. Bartender was getting high in the bar with patrons but was attentive and served us. Then the new bartender showed up for a shift change. She closed all the windows and door, looked at us and said if you need me knock on the glass. She went out and got high with the same patrons. It's not always about the drinks, those are at any bar and they usually taste the same. Service is something that's important, but that's where this bar fails miserably. Aside from other things, a bar is usually first come first serve or if reservations are done, there should be a sign placed on tables or if tables are to be taken, give the customers a heads up ahead of time to let them know that they would need to move for the incoming party. Not come at the exact time and tell us, hey you gotta move cause the tables reserved. We said why our table, they said, cause they want this table. But then they used the excuse saying it's not only this one, the first table is reserved for someone too. I went to that table and asked, they said the server was bull$&@!ing us. We were angry cause it's not like we were just sitting there, we kept ordering drinks, but who isn't right? So they don't care, and why should they, people just want to get drunk and keep coming here. But i just wanted to share this, since I won't be going back but whatever. read more

Came in here a Friday night casually with a friend and the bar tender with pink hair was rude !! My friend stood by the middle of the bar just to order and the bartender says to us that we can't stand there (point in front of a reserved sign) & we have to move out the way. This has been by far the worst bar ever!! I agree with a comment below about the bartenders, they're rude! They demand a high tip regardless if they drag with your drinks and make you stand there and wait. They say comments like "I only serve high tippers" then another one with "I take care of you , you take care of me". Last I checked you tip according to your service! How can you demand a high tip if you're giving shitty customer service?!!!!!! If the owner allows this type of service then shame on him too. I ordered a tequila sunrise and it didn't even have any grenadine and tasted like spoiled orange juice. My group of friends and I were there for our 1st and very last time. Weird place. A round a half dozen of us popped in here after a funeral, ready to imbibe. The bar is nice enough, clean, no bad smells. Standard booze selection, good assortment of specialty drinks, and tasty ones. The bartender, though, was apparently high or something. We needed to repeat our orders several times, one in our group had to wait a LONG time for his drink. Some in our group had consumed drinks before he got served. Off-putting. Despite it being completely uncrowded. We had to repeat instructions about drink orders, who's name was the tab under, etc. A surreal experience. Doubt I'll be back. read more

My first server was very friendly, but had to change tables due to the rain (outdoor sitting b/c of corona). Having a different server which brought me a drink, which tasted very strong, being the driver of the friend group I requested a more "light" drink. Which our new server, don't know her name but had black hair and used a red bandanna as a mask, called me a "pussy" for not wanting the strong drink even though I told her I was driving. One of the worst bars I have ever been to. The staff they have in that establishment is a liability. How they are still in business is surprising. First the blonde bartender has the worst customer service. She is more worried about taking shots with what I assume are her regulars then take care of her customers. Second since they only have one person at a time go into the restrooms women were going in the mens restroom so I decided to go into the women's restroom. Well they were not happy when they saw me walk out of the womens restroom why women can use the mens room but men can't use the women's restroom ‍ again its one at a time anyway. Lastly I ordered 4 drinks before closing my tab and when I was given my bill I saw I was being charged $76 which is not a problem but when I asked why I didn't get an itemized bill the bartender immediately got upset and said I needed to go. I worked in the industry 5+ years and always tip 30% minimum 20% with bad service but wow what a bitch she is. You are either upset because you don't know what your charging or I caught you trying to rip me off either way I was kicked out. I actually wanted them to call the police because that way I could state my case. So people beware, if your not a local I would strongly advice against going to that bar they have shit service and an even worse staff. I can't rave about this place enough! I don't know about everyone else's experiences but this is the best bar in Berwyn by far! I hear the same owners own Hideout too. They have the besssssttt drinks in town! So much variety and every time they come up with even better cocktails. Their prices are unbeatable! I can see why people drive from far to drink here. A lot of people are dissatisfied with the wait times but when I was there they were so slammmmmed and moving as best as possible. They were moving down the line and all the bartenders are so sweet! Especially that blonde girl.... she knows her stuff! I will keep coming here because other places will charge you almost $12 f9r a michelada where this one charges $6.50. Love this place. So happy the owner swooped this place up and flipped it from Cherry Lounge. They have really fun bartenders, even though they are hot and female they never make you feel like "Hurry up I have men to talk to!" Shout out to Liz and Tori for being amazing. There is another girl there who worked at both Marlins and here and I cannot remember her name but she deals with me quite often in a drunk state but she still is always very friendly and we even have some insiders! This is the place to go if you are in Berwyn and don't want to sit at a dead bar on a Friday/Saturday evening. They do a lot of specials and host almost all of the sporting events. Lots of great beers and some of the bar tenders have their own specialty drinks. You just gotta ask them! Its a long bar so if you don't like crowded spaces, don't come on the weekends, you can barley move. They should knock down whatever is next store and expand but it is very cozy. :D read more

IF I COULD GIVE IT SOMETHING LESS THAN ONE STAR I WOULD! This is the absolute worst bar I have ever been to. I've gone to several local bars/ restaurants around the area as well as in the city and i've never been treated as bad as this bar. As an owner myself I have to say, Todd (bar owner) your bartender Stephanie is a huge liability to your business. Let me tell you about my awful and appalling experience (to say the least) with Stephanie and your door man. I arrived at around 10 pm to grab a drink with a friend. It was a Friday night making it busy but not uncontrollably busy. I waited 10 min to get the bartender (Stephanie's) attention, she asked me to wait with my order since there were other customers in front of me, I found it understandable. I waited another 10 min, she told me once more to wait, i said "okay". I let about 5 minutes pass and then I noticed she served the group next to me which has just gotten up to the bar. I asked Stephanie if there was a reason as to why I was not being served and other people that had arrived after me were? She replied with an attitude by saying "well it's not customer appreciation week so I can keep making you wait longer!" Stephanie then proceeded to grab me a beer a rude-fully placed it in front of me while asking for my form of payment, I replied to her by saying "Thank you but I refuse to support a bar that treats their customers this way" She then looked me in the eyes and handed the beer to the guy next to me and said "Here's a free beer". I was ready to leave immediately after but the friends I was with convinced me to stay for a few extra minutes. 15 min after my exchange with Stephanie a tall gentleman approached me (the door man) he said "it's time for you to go" I said "excuse me" because I was confused as to why I was being asked to leave the establishment. So I asked "why am I being asked to leave?" he replied by saying "I don't know" I replied and said "So then why would I have to leave" the door mans response was "I heard you were being rude to the bartender" I said "I was not being rude, I simply asked why I was not being served" to which he had no response for. I have never experienced this type of disgusting service in any other establishment and truly hope that the owner has efficiently trained staff because his current staff is truly a liability to this bar and its success read more

If i could five this place zero stars, i would. The absolute worst experience I've ever had. I have been going to bars in Chicago (from the Northside to the Southside) since I was 21 with a MN ID (I was an out of state student that recently relocated here) and this is the first time I've ever been told its a "fake ass MN ID" and that the bouncer has "seen this before". After asking for the manager, I was told it doesn't matter while he pushed me out. After that experience I do not want to speak to a manager nor patronize this place.
