This is my favorite Berwyn Bar! Folks are friendly and there always room. They recently began accepting credit card payments too.

U.S. MILITARY VETERANS & CURRENTLY SERVING BEWARE:…read more Myself and 5 other friends (which all happen to be fellow veterans) decided to leave the comfort of our VFW to go explore nearby bars. We decided to check this place out, when we arrived we seen a good crowd and everyone seemed to be in their mid 20's or so just like us. When our turn came up to be ID'd, a depressing unhealthy weight "bouncer" greeted us and asked for 2 forms of identification, when we surrendered our IL state IDs along with our Active Military IDs he laughed and questioned the credibility of our IDs and called them bluff! He said they were fake and there was no way 2 African American males along with 2 white males and a Hispanic one would all "coincidentally" all be veterans.. When we asked to speak to his supervisor he told us to "F##K OFF" or he would have us "DEALT WITH" .. We decided to maintain our military bearing and move forward to a bar across the street- BOBBY G's, where they did not discriminate us or anyone there based on race, color or military affiliation. TO ALL SERVICE MEMBERS & VETERANS..BEWARE! THIS PLACE IS NOT MILITARY FRIENDLY!!! .. Maybe it was just the unhealthy weight character they have greeting clients or maybe it's their actual belief. We will NOT ever consider spending one penny in this establishment! And we will announce this at the state VFW meeting that's coming up in October.

They have Italian beef eggrolls that are one in 1 million. The outer dough is always crispy and the Italian beef inside is always flavorful and tender. It comes with a side of aus ju and you top it off with a little Tabasco and it is a 10 out of 10. The wings here are not the skimpy meatless wings. They are thiiick! The ranch is solid and they don't charge extra for it if you need more. Great for those ranch "drinkers" lol. That's ask have a Mangonaso cocktail that's perfect. My wife is picky when it comes to mixed drinks and it was perfect and she couldn't stop ordering them. This place is great for groups or even a date night. They have trivia at night and other events that are really cool and can be found on their website. It's a nice local old school/new school bar that brings a city vibe to a quiet suburb. They even have an outdoor patio section that is amazing during the summer and fall time. They have crème brûlée that was done perfectly, which is hard to find in the Berwyn area.

I think if it was charred & maybe a little less lime juice it might be a more satisfying bite. In its current form, i couldn't taste the avocado at all. I knocked off all the corn & tried the avocados that way; they were just ripe & creamy. Bread is great quality. Eggs were perfectly cooked. Husband got the American breakfast. All components were cooked & seasoned well, & i liked the added peppers & spinach to the breakfast potatoes; nice touch. $4.30 up charge for subbing out impossible patty for breakfast meat. Beautiful patio experience. Effective service.

Went the extra mile to get me a Goose Island brew from their sister spot across the way. Beer was good, but it does seem odd for an Irish pub themed joint in Chicago not to serve any drafts that are Chicago craft. Food? Meh. Exceptionally meh. I know it's an airport and it's gonna be greedily overpriced and gouged, but it was no better than a ballpark concession stand. Clearly sat for a while before coming out. Nothing in an airport is going to get a Michelin star, but goddamn try to differentiate yourself if you're a sit down spot vs the food court counter options. Most of those looked better on people's trays. But thanks to Ralph being professional and welcoming, it was not to be judged on food alone.

Server was friendly, mentioned the wait on food was 25 minutes. It showed up in about 8 minutes Some fries were cold. The size of the cod pieces are generous, but not cooked enough. One was extremely water, the other piece had bites that didn't seperate from the piece, sort of like a steak instead of fish. Drinks are served in plastic cups, takes away a bit from the experience. Would not recommend for eating
