I didn't want my friends to have to go through that, especially in Oakbrook on a Friday night, so I asked to be connected to the Willowbrook store. He said that he was not able to do that. I thank him for his help?? And went back to the Internet to get the phone number for the Willowbrook store. There, I was connected with Felicia, who listen to my request, but explained that she is not allowed to accept reservations for five people at 6 PM. I explained the situation, telling her that I was hosting some new people and hope to have the best possible experience, but she refused to take the reservation. I think it was at this time that she started calling me "my dear." Perhaps that is some type of new Giordanos protocol, but I'm hoping that it will be re-thought, because it surely didn't land well with me! Anyhow, I explained how we had appreciated the pre-order ability in the past, and again reiterated that I was trying to make a seamless experience for our friends. She told me that the store could accept a pre-order at the discretion of whoever answers the phone, I guess. (That didn't make any sense to me, but I just filed that information, figuring that I could revisit that policy later.) After several more "my dears", we ended the conversation and I can promise that we won't ever go to that location. Next, I called the familiar Westchester store, and was put in contact with an extremely polite, friendly, hostess, who accomplished the reservation with absolutely no problem. Our phone connection was horrible, but she persevered and was 100% delightful. I thought it was strange that "Felicia" did not recommend the Westchester store when I asked for close by Giordanos... AFTER telling her that we were staying in Lagrange. She recommended that we call the Naperville location...?? I can assure you that the Westchester store will be the only one that we will patronize in the future. We have been there many times, and look forward to seeing those nice people much more in the future! We have always had great food there and exemplary service; I was only going to switch to a different location because of logistical reasons that have nothing to do with their food, their service or their ambience.

I love the reviews on here. They are pretty much dead on. No one goes to Eden's because they want to. Everyone in the area is pretty much drawn to there on the weekends like moths to a flame because it's close, cheap, and open late. I know because I go there all the time. They haven't cleaned the taps in forever, so get your Miller in bottles if you don't want to be hung over from two drinks. The food is actually really good! Don't go during the week if you're not comfortable with a Sarah Palin crowd (racist, dumb, loud, drunk). Weekends are really just good if you're not ready to go home. This place is a lot of fun. You can bowl with the kids and have pizza or you can bowl with friends and have drinks. The bar is a lot of fun. It's open until 4 am, has a great jukebox and a diverse staff to say the least. You can play darts or bags until 4 am too. The food is fantastic, from pizza to tacos. Mmmm! This place is ridiculous. On top of cutting our game short because their lane broke they decided to tell my children to clean the lane up and bring all the balls back. They were rude. This is the place where hopes and dreams go to die. There is nothing positive to say about this place. Maybe before they had and identity crisis and tried to become some seedy bar instead of a bowling alley as they were decades past. Probably the s***iest establishment in a couple mile radius. Unplanned stop here but what a welcome surprise on a winter evening at this neighborhood pub that hits the sweet spot somewhere between "watering hole" and restaurant . Lively and cozy, "Livozy" (oh yes I did just coin that) is the best descriptor for this cool little pub right across from a commuter rail stop. Very decent selection on tap. The crowd is mostly local and very friendly. The tenders crushed it in terms of friendliness and efficient professionalism. Zubar has figured out that if you deliver a satisfying experience at very reasonable prices--good value, you will ensure return customers--again and again.
