This is something I appreciate more than I can explain. I have a lot of nerve pain and medical issues that make is so coastal Sun is the only brand I can actually smoke and not have any reactions and just benefits from the medicinal purposes. Misleading Billboard Advertising I recently drove to Off The Charts - Monterey after seeing a prominent billboard offering "50% OFF YOUR FIRST VISIT." However, when I arrived, I was told the discount was capped at $30, a material limitation that was not legible on the billboard. The disclaimer was buried in tiny print, and the sign itself was unlit at night -- making it impossible to see the limitation while driving or even when stopped. Multiple people I was with couldn't read it. I was only able to read it after zooming in with my iPhone to take a picture and then zooming in again after the photo was taken. I've since sent Off The Charts a formal demand under California's Consumers Legal Remedies Act (Civil Code § 1770) and also cited violations of BPC §§ 17500 and 17200 for false and deceptive advertising. Hopefully, they correct this, but in the meantime, consumers deserve to be warned: this discount isn't what it seems. Read the fine print -- if you can. read more

Was there at 6:30am on 2/12/26, the so called "manager" made me so uncomfortable that I almost called the police to report his behavior after leaving. I was the only woman in the store, the only other people there were 3 men; the male customer spoke up and said "leave me out of this" after your manager tried to engage him into bullying me too. I did not feel safe at all. I am very disappointed since I've had so many great interactions with staff there in the past. read more

Was very excited about trying this place literally right down the street from us, although our favorite dispensary has been in Salinas on Abbott St for past few years. Went in to OTC around 9:00 am Saturday morning to avoid any crowds for our first visit because I knew I'd have questions. I asked first if there were any specials or first time customer specials and was told the only special was a $4 preroll or a $5 edible. I was ready to purchase $60 oz of Big Tree sativa figured was worth the gas to save a trip. When the girl rang it up to $88. I was like wait a minute... how is that $88. She said that is with tax. I have not been to a dispensary in years where the price listed didn't include tax in it. So I gladly went to Salinas where there are every day sales (Saturday starting 11:00 a.m. 40% off everything) and paid $57 for a half oz. of Sativa Big Tree and a half oz of Sativa B.O.B. So, I was super surprised when I saw the back page of the the Weekly today (Sunday) and learned the girl from OTC either didn't know about their discounts or was going to get to pocket some cash. I may have spent $6 bucks on gas to save $31, but still....,,OTC also says they will beat any price by a dollar??? read more

There have been two times within the last week where I have ordered gummies that were supposed to be Indica but was given hybrid instead. I didn't realize until the after the store closed so went back the next day hoping to exchange. I was told that exchanges must be done before the store closes on the same day. This was frustrating to hear due to that not being something communicated or on the receipt which it should be to inform customers. I order through their site today specifically searching for Indica gummies and ordered 3 packs believing them to be Indica. Less than an hour later, I see they're saliva and go back to exchange them. I'm told by the employee helping me how management changed policy to where there has to be a cash drop every hour and no exchanges can be done after that hour drop. I'm pissed having had wasted money on product I won't use due to the strain not agreeing with me and the shady tactics of management changing policy to screw with the customers and being unfair. I've been to another nearby dispensary where I had been able to exchange within 24 hours as long as product was unopened. If you're thinking of shopping here, I would triple check before leaving that you're getting the correct product because management is shady, making it impossible to do a simple exchange. It's not like they're losing money so the policy is a load of BS. I recommend going to a more respectable dispensary that doesn't try to bait and switch you with constant policy changes and making it impossible to fix their mistake of giving the wrong strain of product. read more
