Higher Level has been my go-to dispensary for about 5 years. The staff is always helpful. The shop always has a nice selection of flower, prerolls, edibles, cartilages, wax, tinctures, topicals, etc. On top of their great selection, Higher Level has a daily deal for every day of the week. I highly recommend this dispensary for their friendly and knowledgeable staff, good deals, and great selection. Plus, I'd like to give them a special shout out for treating our veterans, seniors, and disabled with respect and kindness with deeper discounts. #ThankYouThursday read more

I'm sure the rest of it is sweet but yall are cooked hiring a lady that literally can't figure out how to check us into the system is absolutely insane work tell me why she fumbled around with my passport for 20 minutes and still told me she wanted to help the other customers first what the fuck? read more

This place is my favorite. The tenders are downright genuine and caring. Tell them what you need. They got you. You good?

I don't know why I haven't wrote a review yet. But this place is amazing, everyone is so friendly and nice. I have a few favorites like Gabby and Leah. OK all the them are amazing. They're knowledgeable they have THCV there which some places don't even carry. They put up with my crazy personality. And always in stock of product. Love them read more

My very first time visiting a dispensary. I was here to get a gift for my neighbor who was watching my cats at home while I was on vacation here in Monterey. Was warmly greeted by the very friendly security guard who could tell I was new and broke the ice with a funny joke. I was checked in and the front desk clerk was friendly and explained the whole process to me. It was quick and only took a few minutes to process my drivers license. When cleared, I entered the shop and was immediately greeted and welcomed by staff. The staff was very friendly and guided me through the whole selection and purchase process. The process was very easy and felt at ease for this first time purchaser. The facility was very clean and had a wide range and variety of products to suit everyone's taste or expectation. As a first timer, I highly recommend this location. It is close by The Highway 1 freeway and is easy to locate. There is plenty of parking on site and is easy to enter and exit. Thank you again for a great experience. Next time I am in Monterey/Seaside, I will make a visit again. read more

Well this store is just going downhill fast since getting new owners. Customer service, product selection and changed policies. Just not what it used to be no longer your neighborhood bud tender shop, now corporate big city vibes . Not for our small town read more

Best dispensary in seaside by far! Only downside is the parking and how you enter the lot but aside from that it's a great place. Friendly people that work there are always giving the best recommendations, they also have 20% off the entire store on Sunday! Highly recommend checking them out if you're ever in the area read more

Not very good since the new ownership noticed prices went up on certain products and also they took away 20% off on Sundays. Now they have all these new deal days that don't really give you that good of deal. I've only been back once or twice since they took away the 20% off. read more

Great prices and HUGE discounts for your first FOUR trips into the store - I've never seen that before and thinks it's pretty cool They carry all of the major Cali brands at competitive prices as well. Definitely going back! read more

I love this place! The staff is always professional and really knowledgeable. I typically pick up tincture but today a Budtender introduced me to Kind Creations all natural drops! They are made out of Olive-oil and Cannabis. I picked up the Sativa and 20:1 for my beach trip today along with the Indica for after work. I'm trying out the 2:1 also, iv been told it works really well for anxiety and sleeping. Thank you HL, I'm looking forward to trying these products. read more

Very cool people, have A LOT of product and a great glass selection. The front desk people are so sweet and always have a smile on their face. Some of their prices are a little high but their point system sometimes makes up for that! I hate the parking there tho. Getting to this place is kind of a nightmare but awesome when you can get there. read more

For me, nothing worse than pulling up to a business to find them closed before the posted hours of closing and get the hand motion from the staff making you know, they're done! Hours should state closing at 9:49PM instead of 10PM. Thankfully there is another dispensary with helpful staff & and open door close by. And I was in & out before 10PM! 2 stars only cuz they've helped me before, tonight it was zero stars. read more

Friendly, and welcoming staff. Always a great selection of products. I'm quite picky on my concentrates..and they always seem to please me. Great quality products..and delicious fruity pebbles edibles. Definitely avoid Sunday's, however, if want a quick in and out.. Its 20% off everything that day so everyone flocks. read more

I've always enjoyed the service at Higher Level in Seaside. Today I had a wonderful experience working with Danny. I recently had surgery and unfortunately I'm allergic to narcotics. I found it necessary to find something to alleviate pain. I explained what I was looking for; pain relief without psychotropic effects. The young man that assisted me was understanding, friendly and knowledgeable. He patiently answered all of my questions and addressed my concerns. Excellent customer service and a wide selection of versatile goods. Thank you! read more

Love this place! First, a great bathroom and filtered water fountain. From the security person to the final purchase, everyone is personable. I'm a senior, lived through the 'glory days' of buying a "three-finger lid" for $10 from your girlfriend's neighbor's uncle. The store is 'hip', yet maintains a certain 'professionalism'. I always ask for suggestions from the budtender. The pricing is comparable to others, however, everyday is something new! Sunday is my favorite. It's a bit of a challenge to get into their lot, but I've developed a method! read more

Service is great. Very official. I am from out of town of Monterey. I am sure the bud tender had a long day, since it wasn't to busy at the time when I went in. For others Just know what you want before going in the store, I asked for local recommendations and was told "what do you want". I asked you guys have a brand called "gremlin" I've never heard of that brand. The employee told me "it's a California brand, what do you want ?" Honestly not a good place if you have questions about what you're buying. Doesn't seem they want to take the time to explain. read more

Very neat layout. Chill environment and clean store. Bought some product and wasn't disappointed.

Came in to exchange a concentrate my husband had purchased the night before because it was almost a year old. He made the purchase on Sunday night 12/8/19 came back to the car to look at the product and the packaging was tampered with so he went back to exchange it for one that was not opened. So he comes home with the same product but this was It was manufactured on January 12,2019 and was very much darker than the first one he had bought (the one that was opened) Anyway I just wanted to exchange it for one that wasn't a month from being expired. With concentrates they can loose up to 50% THC when sitting over time. Also the color can darken as this did. I expressed concern to the manager that I wasn't comfortable consuming something that was almost expired and that could possibly have lost half of its THC content and almost all terps. He was very rude and just told me no he wouldn't do it. I explained the situation from the night before he didn't care.. even though he was the manager the night before that exchanged the open concentrate.... I personally work in the Cannabis industry and I just feel completely ripped off. I will definitely not be shopping at this store anymore they don't seem to know much (my husband went in for a crumble and they gave him a live resin he asked are you sure this is crumble and they told him yes, he couldn't tell because they're was no display)or even care about their Patients. read more

Best dispo ever!! They have the best promos ever and the best customer service not to mention their wide variety #jose

This store treats it's customers like cattle. You weighed in line only to be held by a impatient and uneducated customer service associate. This is not the place for a first time patient and instead before customers who know exactly what they want. I would recommend going to one of the other stores in the area that provide much better customer service. Higher level may have the lowest price but their competitors are very close behind in terms of offering value. read more

Higher Level used to be my favorite, now it's like a disappointing food restaurant. After visiting other nearby dispensaries, I can honestly say they're much better, much cheaper, and give much less of that repressed resentful attitude that comes from Higher Level employees. They must be very unhappy. I wish them the best. The assistant manager I met took pride in being rude and uncommunicative. Putting someone like that in management is absurd. And I'm tired of getting hassles at this place, but courteous experiences everywhere else. Any of the other local dispensaries will give you better product and service. Higher Level is just the opposite of its name - bottom of the barrel. read more
