The waiter Jackie was super friendly, there was live music that was very enjoyable. Overall the vibes were good. The food and drinks were also good. Definitely going to come back and visit.

I was very sad to hear that Left Coast Kitchen & Cocktails did not survive the Covid shutdown. Off the Brook took over this space and they have done zero renovations but close off the open kitchen. The booths were ripped and it was runned down. We made a reservation for a Wednesday night but there were only 3 tables sat when we walked in. It's very confusing, the bartender was helping us as well as a waitress but both were not attentive. We actually had to get up and go to the bar at one point in order to get a second round of drinks. Our waitress was in a foot/leg cast and it was just a little hard to watch when she was hobbling around. I feel like maybe she should've taken some time off before coming back to work. The food was also very confusing. The appetizers were amazing and the entrees were medicore. The caprese empanadas were dynamite as well as the cauliflower bites. The flatbread was OK, would've been a better choice to not have red sauce on it with the other toppings. It just didn't go well. The burger was good but the pasta flight was so disappointing. No flavor whatsoever, sauce was not good, no salt, just a big miss. All in all, for the price of this place, I'd skip it. Maybe go for apps and a drink at the bar but that's about it.

Love Taco Tuesdays! Great prices, drinks and food! Our favorite appetizer is the zucchini chips, I could eat a million of them and never get tired. We had 2 great margaritas - pineapple and a traditional one but we're working our way through their list and, so far, they are all special! Tonight we enjoyed the shrimp and chorizo tacos. Yummy! The new chef is fabulous!

Lobster ravioli. Amazing! Very filling and yummy. A perfect choice.

I recently ate dinner here with a friend on quick trip to New York. This place was highly recommended by friends who drink because they have a great bar. Immediately when I walked in I loved it. The ambiance and lighting was dim, but cozy and warm inside. I ordered the ravioli on the special menu and it was delicious. Their French onion soup came out piping hot and very tasty. I also had their apple tart ice cream for dessert- to die for. Our server was a sweet blonde Irish girl who gave wonderful service that (Tuesday) night. I look forward to return to the city of Freeport to enjoy another delicious meal from this great restaurant.

Hubs and I came for a long overdue date night. Upon first walking in, the words cozy rustic come to mind. It's not huge but has a great ambiance. We sat in a booth by the bar as per the waiter so that we could partake in happy hour specials (the fact that he told us that when seating us was very much appreciated). We both ordered some margaritas--mine an original and his a spicy pineapple jalapeño margarita. Mine was delicious with a mild flavor, his was definitely SPICY. I made the mistake of trying it and then my mouth burned for a while after, he very much enjoyed it though. For food we decided to order some small plates to share first. We ordered the chorizo tacos, zucchini chips and burrata flat bread. The zucchini chips were so thin and crispy served with a marinare sauce for dipping. The burrata flat bread was absolutely delicious with perfectly creamy burrata and a sweet balsamic glaze. It was also topped with prosciutto which I could have gone for more on top but it was still enjoyed. The chorizo tacos were probably our least favorite but still yummy. It was less chorizo and more filler which I didn't necessarily mind since it had a bit of a kick from jalapeño and some spicy sauce. We then both got the burrata burger (I really can't ever turn down anything burrata). When we first got it we were like how are we eating this but nonetheless we found a way! The flavors and the hot and cold went together like a party in your mouth. Overall, There wasn't a single crumb left on any of our plates and if that doesn't scream delicious I don't know what does!

Fresh food and friendly service. Went here for lunch for my friend Katie's birthday. Restaurant observed all covid compliance. Waitress was full of spunk and lively. We ordered the calamari, chicken bruschetta panini and crab cake Sammy. All were sooo fresh and so good. I really want to talk about the calamari. So most places use frozen but this place, fresh! It also had the little guys with the legs, which are my personal favorites! Like seriously every place offers calamari but this one, does it right. Get the calamari. For dessert I ordered the drunken elephant drink and chocolate mousse. They came out and sang happy birthday to my friend and made it really special. That was super nice. We had the pleasure of meeting the owner, manager, chef Alecia (could she wear more hats?) she is the optiome of professional with a warm inviting personality. Her food spoke for itself and backed up my initial impression that she knew what she was doing. 100%. My only critique is that when straying from their drink menu (I asked for a dark and stormy and a toasted almond) the bartender isn't flexible. They have ginger beer and all the ingredients to make these drinks. Yes I know I'm a pain in the as*. Do it with all your friends and enjoy!!! Word on the street, brunch may be happening in the future!! Will certainly keep an eye out for that! **make a reservation for dinner!

This place is described as tapas-style, so some dishes are on the smaller size, but the more expensive dishes are full portion: the burger, chicken, pasta w/crab, etc. Seems they also change their menu very regularly, as I saw some fantastic looking things in the pictures here, none of which were on the menu. On the more expensive side price wise, and there is a full bar and bourbon selection to punch it higher. Tried a few things, some I'd skip if I came back, but also a few things I'd like to try that I didn't get to. Skippables include the Gouda Gruyères: onion soubise and the cacio e pepe, both underwhelming and more expensive than it should have been. I also tried the gem salad, chicken wings, the rigatoni with sausage and broccoli rabe, and the flan for dessert. Flavors were good, the wings were very heavy on the salt but had good flavor, and everything else was covered in tons of cheese, from the salad to the pasta, it was a lot. Service was quick, waitress friendly. People in the area seem to absolutely love this place and overhearing people talk, there's nothing bad on the menu, and the corn agnolotti was delicious (I was sad to have changed my order, this is what I was originally going to get). Interested in seeing a fall menu for this place!

Main food is oysters but they have plenty of choices. I had the salmon over rice while my boyfriend had the hangover burger. I had an appetizer of the nachos and he had the 1/2 oysters. Very good food and very good ambience. Will be coming back.

There's a sandpit for kids to play in out there as well. We ordered the falafel burger and shrimp tacos and my husband got a Mojito. The food is okay. It's not bad but it's not anything to write home about for the prices. I think the tzatziki sauce for the falafel burger could definitely have some more flavor and that would make the overall taste of it better. Our waitress was a young girl. She was nice, but not very attentive. Overall, I think a lot of people come here more for the atmosphere. If you don't live on the water or boat a lot, it's a nice place to come and enjoy a meal or drink because you can sit outside, enjoy the water view, and it has an area for kids to play, but I'm not sure that it would be on my top list of places to come back to and eat.

I knew it had to be good and I was right. Cute interior, casual, pretty small so I am sure they have a high volume operation going on. It was a cold day, so no outside seating, obviously, but I'd love to come back and sit outside on a nice day. There's something about warm weather, tacos and cold margs that's super appealing, isn't there? I'd heard their vegan tacos were excellent and I was happy to see a wide selection of them. I tried the vegan chorizo as well as the Impossi-taco. Listen, there's no contest here. If looking for a meaty type of taco, go with the vegan chorizo (I believe it's housemade). I'm a spice-loving gal and it didn't seem spicy at all to me but I do realize there are people out there that might think it's spicy so that's a caveat. It's top tier, however, and the impossible was just something I can make at home (with a lot more spice-- it's lacking that here). I also ordered the black beans and rice, but I wouldn't order it again, as it was a small ramekin and I was too full to eat it anyway. Next time, guac, I'm coming for you. The sampling on my impossi-taco had me full of regret that I didn't get more of it! If you like sweet sangria, they've got you here. I didn't love it, way too sweet for me. I'll definitely try their other cocktails next time. Now, for the service. Gina is a rockstar! I see her name mentioned in reviews and you know when you see a name in reviews, that person is exceptional. Loved her. Actually everyone in here is so nice. It's refreshing.
