I was actually at the area to grab a couple of other items, including bubble tea and found out that they were having a promotion for their app. If you download their app and log in using your phone number, your first drink from the shop is $0.99! I took this opportunity to sign up right away and try their Strawberry Crema Latte. This was definitely the right move! We ordered this as 50% sugar (I usually drink my bubble tea with 30% sugar) and it was perfectly sweet. I would definitely recommend trying this if you like strawberry milk, the 50% sugar also allowed for the bitterness of the coffee to sneak up as well which gave it the prefect balance of lightly sweet and bitter. It tasted like a melted Strawberry Coffee iced cream. The service was very quick and I would definitely be back to try more drink items!

This place overall is just average to me. The drinks are nothing special. We recently tried the pineapple bun egg waffles which were disappointing. The pineapple bun topping on the egg waffles were too soft and cakey, not crispy like a pineapple bun topping should be. Perhaps the original egg waffles with no filling would be better. Service: Service is average, not good but not bad. Ambiance: There are a few tables and chairs in the shop, but overall it's a pretty small space. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this place.

I stopped by Cuppa Tea at Tangram and tried their jasmine milk tea and pineapple bun egg waffles…read more The jasmine milk tea was fragrant with a nice jasmine flavor and wasn't overly sweet, which I really enjoyed. I was more disappointed with the pineapple bun egg waffles. They reminded me of the ones from Chicken Egg Boy in Hong Kong, in which I've lined up for over 1.5-2 hours for during the peak of their hype. Unfortunately, for the ones at cuppa tea, the execution wasn't quite there. It seemed like there wasn't enough egg wash on the pineapple bun crust, and they didn't appear to be baked long enough as the buns were sliding off the egg waffles, which made them pretty messy to eat. The egg waffles themselves also weren't as crispy on the outside as I would have liked. Overall, the milk tea was definitely the highlight for me but I think the pineapple bun egg waffles is promising but could use some improvement.

Tastes decent even without the extra sugar although not exceptionally amazing. 2. Tsk tsk tsk about the "less ice" portion. With the almighty chunk of ice, you're actually getting a medium sized drink instead of the large (thanks to the unnecessary ice amount). 3. Has mix of decent textures from the tart mango pieces + softness from the sago pearls + smoothness from the creamy coconut milk + juiciness from pomelo pulp.
