We revisited. Still agree on the fact that service was fine but it does lack any kind of personality lol. We definitely had to grab another Strawberry Mango Matcha because it was good from last time. We also picked up a Black Sesame Latte and a Rooicoco (coconut water, roiboos tea, cold brew, coconut foam, coconut flakes). The Black Sesame cream foam was very thick so it was very hard to drink the espresso/milk through it. I love black sesame but the taste almost overpowered the drink. Would come back for the Strawberry Mango Matcha as it was good once again.
I got the salted yuzu plum coffee and it was such a unique flavor! I loved the tart, salty, and sweet together. The cup size is smaller than typically coffee shops. Everything came out in only a few minutes and the workers are nice. There's not much space inside to stand around and no seating. Maybe next time I'll come back to try the mango strawberry matcha.
Love the latte and coffee drink variations offered here! I thought many items on the menu are unique and never seen before, like the salted yuzu dirty, which tasted surprisingly good to me (but may be an acquired taste to some). The matcha latte and pistachio latte were good as well and the Rooicoco was interesting but very refreshing. You'd enjoy it if you like coconut milk like I do! May I add, all the drinks are beautifully presented.
Solid cafe with a really unique drink menu! Visited Off Peak Coffee and loved the balance of flavors. Here's what we tried: Pistachio Latte (4.5/5): Perfectly balanced and full of rich pistachio flavor without being overwhelming Dirty Yuzu (4/5): A really interesting combination. It has a nice, subtle tang from the yuzu that works surprisingly well, and it's thankfully not overly sweet Black Sesame Latte (4.5/5): Smooth, well-balanced, and hits just the right level of sweetness Definitely a great spot if you're looking to try something beyond your standard espresso drinks
A solid coffee shop in the heart of Flushing. If you're seeking serious espresso and near the 7 train (and main street of Flushing), Off-Peak Coffee is the place to stop by for a cup of joe to-go. They use Devoción Coffee beans for their base so expect quality locally brand roasted beans. They have their own specialty drinks that are staples since they opened a few years ago. However there are a rotating flavors for those interested in seasonal drinks. The owners are the same as the locally famous Shakalaka and the Flatiron favorite SALSWEE. A to-go "off-peak" coffee destination also nearby the LIRR. I love that their drinks speak toward the community: Asian flavors of durian, yuzu, matcha, black sesame to name a few. Service is good. They are cordial and fast. Space is clean and small with a modern young interior. Recommend: Salted Yuzu Dirty- a taste of salted espresso with hints of yuzu and salt and plum powder to give that hint of sweet and sour salted notes. I also loved their durian drink when they first opened. Hopefully they bring it back. Accepts cash, card and Applepay. No bathrooms, small shop. Takeout only.
This place is cute but super small right in downtown Flushing. This is a place where you grab and go. There is no seating area here. The drinks are creative, well-crafted, and not overly sweet. The friendly service and quality coffee make it well worth the visit.
I pass this place often but always too late for me to have coffee. Finally got to try it and it was subpar. Maybe I ordered the wrong thing but I didn't like it. I asked the lady whats their most popular and the rooicoco was one of them. I like coconut so I decided to try that. Not a fan. I don't know what I didn't like about it. Very small store.
4/5 Pistachio latte $7- contains "espresso, whole milk & pistachio cream foam"- really good, nice & strong 3/5 Berry jazz $4.95- contains "homemade strawberry syrup, jasmine tea, cold brew & yuzu juice" - very sweet, refreshing, strange mix of flavors but somehow works, tastes fermented, I like it but def not for everyone Madeline trio $5.95 for 3: decent but flavors are pretty weak 3/5 matcha- needs more matcha 3/5 chocolate- needs more cacao
Found this place in flushing area of New York. Got the strawberry mango matcha without the strawberry because I thought it might be too many flavors. No place to sit inside and no modifications to drink--such as wanting to get the matcha with a black sesame cream top was a no can do. Only can order from the menu itself. Matcha flavor was also ok.
A very solid grab-and-go coffee shop with Asian-inspired flavors. I had the pistachio latte with oat milk which was creamy and not-too-sweet. It was on the pricier side (iirc it came out to about $8 before tips) but nothing outrageous in the context of NY. Would love to see them open more locations in Manhattan & Brooklyn!
Great little spot for a grab-and-go coffee. The menu focuses mostly on iced, layered espresso drinks with different flavors and foams. I tried a classic, the pistachio latte. The espresso and milk were smooth and rich with no added sweetener, which I really appreciated. The pistachio foam had a natural, nutty flavor rather than the artificial, overly sweet taste that pistachio drinks often have. As someone who loves iced drinks with foams (especially ones that aren't overly sweet!) the pistachio latte was exceptionally good, even on the 20 degree day I got it. Next time, I'd like to try the tropical punch with durian foam or the black sesame latte.
Unfortunately didn't live up to my expectations. I ordered the pistachio latte, black sesame latte, and a reg latte. The drinks lacked a lot of flavor and you could barely taste coffee. I couldnt taste the pistachio from the cream, the black sesame tasted more burnt than a sweet sesame; the reg latte was prob the best out of the 3. I did rlly like the aesthetic and vibe of the shop and the staff were super friendly and funny. I wouldn't go out my way for this place, but willing to try again in the future!
Pistachio latte pretty good here! Waited on the line walked in but the order was pretty good! Ambiance pretty quiet and chill. Check out their latte!

Might be a small place, but they have some unique coffee drinks. Service was fast and efficient. I enjoyed the fruity coffee drinks that they have. The addition of small pieces of fruit and some additional floral flavors really provides a unique take on cold brew coffee. It creates a very refreshing coffee that really wakes up your palate :) read more
Excited to see a tea-focused café open early--it's a big plus that they open at 7 a.m., perfect for a pre-work stop. The drink menu is styled like a cocktail list--creative and fun, though I personally prefer more traditional espresso options. I tried the Berry JAZZ (Cold Brew, Yuzu, Jasmine Green Tea, Handmade Strawberry Syrup). It sounded intriguing, but was ultimately disappointing. The tea was barely noticeable, and it mostly tasted like the filtered end of a cold brew. Unbalanced and underwhelming--definitely more for coffee fans than tea lovers. The drink came in a very small cup for $6, which felt underwhelming for the price. Would I come back? Maybe--if there aren't better options around. read more

Smooth, rich, and incredibly well-balanced. The espresso is bold yet mellow, with no harsh bitterness, while the subtle hint of pistachio adds a delicate nutty sweetness that complements the coffee perfectly. The flavors blend seamlessly, creating a creamy and satisfying drink that's both unique and comforting. A delicious choice for anyone looking for a refined espresso experience with a touch of pistachio. The only thing is when it's gets crowded there is no a lot of space inside. read more

Came here to try the new coffee place in flushing since there's not that many. I wanted to try one of their speciality lattes but ended up getting just a plain latte. If they have good beans and it's done well. A normal latte will show if it's good. I'll be back to try their other speciality latte. The standard latte is smooth and well balanced. The coffee bean flavor is medium. The original latte and beans definitely. 5/5 Came back to try the yuzu salted dirty latte. It was lukewarm. Me and my friend took one sip and threw it out. It leaves a bad aftertaste in your throat and ruins the flavor of the coffee itself. The yuzu salted was not for me and my friend. We hate wasting and we threw it out. 1/5 Tropical punch is very good and refreshing 5/5 Berry buzz is interesting with slight durian cream flavor on top. 4/5 read more
This is a small matcha/coffee shop with really great matcha quality. I ordered the matcha with strawberry/mango and it was delicious! Even licking the foam near the end of my drink! We did not have to wait too long for our drink, but I will be coming back! read more

Cute little coffee shop on Main St! It had a modern, clean, and minimalistic ambiance and I really loved the equipment they used which reminded me of a bar. Their special drinks are unique and I would like to try all of them. They use Devocion coffee which I felt was on the milder side but it was still a great coffee to start the morning off. I tried the Pistachio Latte and was not disappointed. The pistachio flavor was not as strong as I liked but it was really creamy. The pistachio foam, expresso, and whole milk was so beautifully layered too. And they topped it off with some nut shavings. Truly an art. All the workers were really kind too, thanking us on the way out. Will come here to try the Black Sesame Latte next! read more
Cute little coffee shop in Flushing with a variety of drinks I've never seen before in America! We got the strawberry mango matcha and salted yuzu dirty and they were yummy and not too sweet. Would definitely come back to try their other drinks! read more
Tiny cafe for really quality drinks. It's order, grab and go place as there is no seating inside. They use devoccion coffee. They also do some really interesting drinks and seasonal items. I always try something new when I'm here. My favorite is their dirty matcha, they do it the best. I've had their coffee and tea products and everything has been really high quality, can't go wrong with trying any drink here. The staff are always super nice and fast. They're located near lots of bus stops and one short block away from the 7 train. read more

My matcha was pretty good. The matcha is premade so not the best quality but not bad. The strawberry and mango toppings were yummy. My boyfriend got the black sesame latte but it was just barely luke warm. The staff was friendly and helpful. There's no seating inside but the cafe looks nice inside. read more

Their coffee and matcha are good! The sizes are smaller than other places, but I think for matcha it's the perfect portion. The mango strawberry matcha tastes almost like a smoothie. The strawberries they use are really fresh and not just syrup like other cafes. read more
Coffee was underwhelming boring, small in quantity and overpriced. While the store itself was very visually pleasing, the product they served here just didnt hit any spots since the coffee just wasn't very bold nor did there creative concoctions they have there really wow me in anyway read more
Eclectic menu of coffee and teas in a bar style cafe. Standing room only. Sizes are about 6oz, not those giant coffees at other places, it's more about quality than quantity here. Ratings: Pistachio latte 10/10 At $7 this is the best pistachio latte I've ever had. So much flavor with great tasting coffee. The barista makes this a work of art. Everything taste so fresh and the flavors go perfectly together. Rooicoco 9/10 The cold brew is very good, smooth and delicate in flavor with low acidity. The rooibos tea adds some fruity flavor to it, and the coconut on top gives it some texture and a bit of nutty flavor. They put effort into making it aesthetically pleasing. Worth the $6 for something completely different than the average coffee. read more
The interior is really nice and luxurious. I loved their music choice too! The menu was interesting and I tried the iced lava americano. It was a little too watery in my opinion but maybe I should've tried a fruity drink. Prices weren't too bad either. I think I'll come back if I visit flushing again. read more
Really enjoyed the uniqueness of the drinks they offer here. Rarely are you going to find coffee drinks that feature things like durian cream foam and combine ingredients like yuzu juice, espresso, "dirty" milk, and plum powder. Highly recommend the Tropical Punch, Rooicoco, Berry Jazz, and Salted Yuzu Dirty drinks. Also appreciated how the staff was attentive and made an effort to make sure everyone was enjoying their drinks. Woul definitely come back! read more
Off-peak is a small grab-and-go coffee shop that offers some special matcha and coffee lattes. I came here for a pick-me-up in the morning and got their mango strawberry matcha. It was so good. The mango foam was sweet but didn't overpower the strawberry jam, that paired so well with the matcha. I absolutely loved it and know why it's super popular. I would honestly love to come back to try one of their specialty coffees or to even just get their matcha again (without any pairings) as the matcha quality was so good. read more

Uji matcha latte with oat milk was exactly what I was looking for: a good matcha latte pick-me-up in a convenient spot in Flushing. I asked for half-sweetened but since it's pretty high-quality matcha, maybe I'll try unsweetened next time. The size feels smaller but I feel like it's honestly a good amount for a sipping type experience. Want to try their other fun drinks next time. read more
New grab and go coffee shop with a limited menu which means they specialize in the items they offer! I LOVE the tropical punch which has durian cream topping and mango and passion fruit in their cold brew. Small place, only has standing room for waiting for your drinks. They take cards and Apple Pay! Will definitely come back. read more
I went before they temporarily closed and got their pistachio cold foam latte. The foam was delicious! The place was pretty small, just enough for you to order and leave immediately. They closed down recently for some unknown reason but I wish I had a chance to try the strawberry mango matcha. read more
The berry jazz sounds weird but it was DELICIOUS. It's a combination of cold brew jasmine tea and cold brew coffee and I wasn't sure what I was expecting but it was super delicious and I wish I got another one before I left. There's a hint of berry and it's not too overpowering. I could taste both tea and coffee. It's a very unique drink and I highly recommend it! read more

One of my favorite cafes when visiting Flushing. The service is fast and super high quality, and the drinks are consistently delicious. I love the interior too - it's cozy and always feels super clean. Their strawberry mango matcha and mollyye are my favorite drinks - definitely worth a try!! read more

The Ambiance of this little shop is quite play and the place is quite small I didn't notice it at first. When I walked inside it was very plain and could use some more decorations or paintings heck maybe some paint would liven the place up. I don't have anything negative to say about the employees they just did what they have to do, and they were quite chill. I do love my Tiramisu Latte and the Cacao heart was a nice touch. read more
A very tiny spot with no table so this place is only for those looking for a quick to go drink. The quality of their matcha is pretty good and pricing was decent as well. (Finally a cafe that isn't charging inflation coffee, all of their drink is under $6) read more

A cute little coffee shop right on Main Street that replaced several bubble tea shops before it. Unfortunately, I'm not a coffee drinker as I prefer tea but I would definitely come if I was a coffee drinker. Their coffee options are very unique with fruity and nutty twists to it. My boyfriend ordered the pistachio latte and it was very creamy and delicious! Although it was such a small place, there are 3 employees - 2 baristas and 1 cashier and the wait was not long at all! Definitely recommend! read more
I'm kind of obsssssedd with this place.. is it related to salswee bc the name was on my cup??? Not sure but anyways the staff were really nice and spoke Chinese and English's bf all the drinks looked really good. I got the Mollyee which had the most delicious coconut flakes. Tbh I couldn't really taste the jasmine but maybe that's bc I got too much sugar at 50%. Next time I'd get 0 sugar. Wish there was a few bar seats then this place would be chefs kiss read more
It's crazy how paying $7 for a small latte could be a norm now. It was cool to see a coffee shop in Flushing for a change. There were some unique offerings here. We opted for the Rooicoco, I believe. While the size was tiny, it was a delicious latte, on the sweeter end. I do wish the cups are bigger to justify the price, but a good fancy pick-me-up in the area! read more
saw this place on social media so was really excited to try it but the coffee was slightly disappointing. the black sesame latte had a very weak and basically no black sesame flavor. tiramisu latte was decent it was better towards the end when the salted foam was mixed in but definitely has better before. read more
