Everything we ordered was amazing and we just loved it so much. The service was very nice and the place had a feel of eating an amazing dinner at a wealthy Italians house. My only complaint was the Aperol Spritz... it tasted very watered down even after we asked for extra Aperol in it. It's okay, we came here for the food and it was amazing.

The waitress was prompt, knowledgeable and pleasant. The menu was well-curated and distinct. I ordered a margarita and a saltimbocca pizza. Holy cow! This was the BEST pizza I have ever tasted! Additionally, there is an adorable gift shop and waiting space within the restaurant space that offers local fare and specialty gifts. Do yourself a favor and drop in for a salad and pizza. We arrived 30 minutes before they closed (too close for comfort, but we wanted to try), so I asked the host if they could still seat us. And while they weren't enthusiastic (I know I wouldn't be), we got a table and were promptly and warmly welcomed by our server. Even with only half an hour to close, we didn't feel rushed, and they took the time to explain the menu and offered suggestions. My lobster and I split a small arugula salad (which was indeed plenty!). It was simply dressed and packed full of flavor. I don't know why my basic salads at home don't taste this good. He got the sausage calzone, and I ordered the mushroom pizza. Both of our mains were delish. The sausage in the calzone was fennel forward, which we love. The fried sage atop my mushroom pizza was a delightful addition, and I'm not even a big fan of sage. Hey, people grow and change! The space itself is cozy and inviting. We look forward to returning for an earlier dinner so we can try the cocktails and dessert.

It did take the delivery driver 1 hour and 40 minutes to get our food to us arriving at 7:39pm. I called them at the 90 min mark ( I thought they closed at 8 and was concerned because I already paid our $68, but they close at 9) and the man explained they only had one driver and many ahead of us. Earlier the woman had told me there was only one order ahead without specifying a time. Oh well. We got fried zucchini, garlic parm fries, pineapple pepperoni pizza for the kids, and a sausage and mushroom calzone for me. We got various sauces for a little extra. The ranch was really good. Everything was hot and pretty tasty. I think we would ask for a slightly longer cook/char on the pizza and calzone next time, which is an option. My calzone was oozing cheese and sauce and was pretty gooey and soft. But good. And maybe we would not order on the Friday of Veteran's weekend at 6pm. Or go pick it up. Still worth a try.

Our base price for a large Spicy Italian, Garlic Cheese Bread and a Large Caesar Salad was $65 plus tip. $17 for a Caesar salad with no protein is definitely steep and the pizza would have been worth $34 if there were more toppings (we opted for pepperoncinis on only one half, but as you can see, this mainly looks like a pepperoni pizza at first glance). Around $50 would have been fair for quality and quantity ordered. When we called, they let us know it was about a 90-115 minute wait, and we appreciated the honesty! Not a major deterrent, but don't order when you're already hungry. The Caesar salad was a highlight for us, and we found it to be really like and more vinegar based, it was so refreshing and we appreciated it wasn't fishy/too anchovy heavy. The cheese bread was our 2nd favorite - super cheesy and delish! Pizza came in 3rd, it just wasn't what we expected, it seems very NY style and a little greasy.
