We got to enjoy the restaurant as people came and went while we enjoyed conversation with the staff and each other. Now the food. I can't recall all we ordered but we did overdo it knowing that we wouldn't be back in the area soon and it had been in our list to try. The owner said he was inspired by Watercourse in Denver and if you've ever been there, you'll feel right at home here. Food was as good as Watercourse while putting unique items on the menu like seitan wings which I cannot find another place that does them well or at all. Dry tub available to boot! Her waitress was super pleasant and she explained to us the options as this was a 100% plant based and one thing about being in a Canadian Restaurant is you have to be aware of exchange rates and the waitress was very helpful in providing that information. The ambience of the restaurant was very nice and our food came out within about 15 minutes of our order which was great. I went with the plant-based Gyro, which used wheat gluten for the lamb meat and the taste was spot on compared to when I used to eat that type of lifestyle. Our daughter got tofu tacos, which were flavored very well and my wife got the jackfruit tacos, which she enjoyed. Pricing for the three of us was not bad at all, especially with the exchange rate and we will definitely be back. This place is great for families. The onion rings were very good. It's very important if you are plant based or plant curious that you try your best to avoid mock meat because many of them have just as much chemical and unhealthy ingredients as regular meat. We thoroughly enjoyed our meals and will definitely be back. You should try those burgers definitely if you're ever in the Detroit area. The vibe Inside was well done and the staff were helpful and helping us pick from the options they had on the menu, which was a lot.
