A very convenient location and there's plenty of shopping & food options nearby, along with access to the public train. Jaime always provides consistent & friendly service; not to mention fast! Their office is rather small, with only seating for a few customers which may be considered a con. But because of their location, there are plenty of places to go explore & grab a bite while waiting. The Smog Shop Oceanside appears to only take WALK-INS and no appointments. I highly recommend CALLING-AHEAD to get an idea of your possible Wait-Time. The great news is that the service at Smog Shop is extremely fast! It often takes under 20 minutes per vehicle to do a typical inspection. Mine typically takes 15 minutes to complete! Their pricing is extremely fair and it costs under $65 to do my smog inspection for my 2010 vehicle. You can also save money by using CASH as payment, but you can also use credit cards too. Overall, I really love this local, small business and I recommend the SMOG SHOP OCEANSIDE!
