We came to ABC smog to get our smog check done, and the service was relatively quick and easy. We handed over the car keys and were shown some chairs to sit and wait while the work was being done. We had to wait about 30 min since there was someone else in front of us in line, but the actual smog check probably took about 15-20 min. The smog check cost $60 - note that debit or cash are recommended payment methods since there is 3% fee for credit card. Overall, this was quick, easy, and affordable. I used this smog station for many years and he started out being a nice guy. Then all of a sudden, he became a disrespectful unprofessional sensitive joke. He refused to smog my vehicle, even though I have been going to him for years. I even made an appointment with him and woke up early to get there and be the first one for an inspection. He started raising his voice and yelling at me and took a step towards me. That's when I let him know if he takes one more step I'm gonna knock his ass out. Don't waste your time here when there are several other places with professional customer service, and technicians that will assist you. I will never take any one of my vehicles or recommend this place anymore. I am completely disgusted by his actions and unprofessional demeanor when I simply went to him for a smog check. Very impressed. We had gone to another smog station nearby, but they were not STAR certified and recommended ABC Smog. We did not have an appointment. Bob the owner is a very kind man. We were advised after showing up to make an appointment as he was so busy. We came back at an appointment time and he waited on us and gave my car a check over and it needed oil. Also, I had issues opening the hood. He found the problem and he fixed it for us. No charge. Also he instructed me how to properly open my hood so next time I'll be successful. He loves what he does and it shows in the way he does his business. He goes extra mile. If I could, I'd give more than 5 stars. I called ahead and was able to get in the same day. Bob did not only do the service requested, he also gave me a crash course on how to maintain my car properly. After telling him my issues with the car I bought a couple weeks ago he even went out his way and called someone to make sure the mileage on the car was correct after everything sounded a bit sketchy with my car. I'll definitely be coming back to him! I already recommended him to all my friends. I feel more safe in my car now thanks to him. Price is definitely fair. There is really no other place to go to have your smog check done. Bob at ABC was responsive, quick, informative, and reasonably priced. I got in without a wait, after work, and he's open until 7 which is more convenient than most other spots. 30 minutes in and out for a 2005 Pathfinder. What's better? He honestly made my day by slipping a little cross keychain onto my keys as he was giving them back. I've taken all of my cars here and I love this place. Bob is really honest and helped me when it took me 3 months to reset the computer on my car's exhaust system with a drive cycle. I left him my car while I was at work, I didn't get off until after closing time and he was fine with that. I got there, my car had passed, he didn't charge me extra for any extra work or hassle and even had me come back the next day to pay. All he asks is that if I find any strays, he'd like 3 kittens. This isn't a shop that needs to be fake nice to up-sale you, there is no up-sale option. I was just treated like family. While I waited, the manager helped me get quotes for my tires. He saw I was about to get scammed for some undisclosed used tires, while I shopped near by. I heard him asking other shops to give him their best price. In addition, he had family bring him in a pint of ice cream. He served me two scoops to enjoy myself. He noticed my car was missing a vacuum tube and replaced it for me.
