Nice place to relax the price was reasonable although we were there early they came and got us at exactly the time out massage was suppose to start so I wasn't a fun of that but the rooms were nice the lounge was jive and of course we had to buy eminence skin care products ! I like they had more time to get a massage but again if the massage starts at 10 and it's super dead and they are coming to get up from the lounge at 10 we still had to get situated in the room which obviously cut it to the massage If i go back it's only because they offer longer massage times but I wonder if it matters if they aren't coming to get you in time for your massage lol I would try it again but I'm probably raise this concern as it just a lot of money and consideration of time that should be had because if I was late they make it very clear it is what it is so to be on time and still feel like I was late was unacceptable The massage lady I had like fixed my toe she was freaking amazing I have big toe osteoarthritis and they way she got in there it was amazing I think I got a lymphatic massage I don't even know but OMG most people seem to want to avail the feet and it was like that was he specialty in fixing cricket creaky toes lol I was so impressed how she really massaged the joints and got in there and I was able to be pain free without a flower up for like a month It a sweet place over all we did get lost and directions were a bit confusing but once you find it you'll never forget ! I even stole the playlist music they were playing in the lunge to play at home !

My husband and I were in Half Moon Bay for a long Valentine's Day weekend. We both had been wanting to get a massage for a while. What better way to treat ourselves than a couples massage! From the moment we walked in, it was such a relaxing experience. The lovely woman at the front desk checked us in, took us back to the relaxation room and invited us to enjoy some citrus infused water while filling out the required questionnaire. After a short while, our masseuses, Jira (mine) and Kari (my husband's), came in to greet us, confirm the types of massage we wanted (Swedish for my husband and Vida - combo hot stone and Swedish - for me). My husband was very happy with his massage. During my massage Jira made sure the touch was right and I was comfortable. I was also quite happy with my massage. Sixty minutes went way to fast, but we were both so relaxed at the end. Honestly, neither of us wanted to get up and dressed. We were led back to the relaxation room to enjoy a champagne and Kir Royale before having to go. Perfect ending to a perfect spa treatment! The Oceano Coastal Spa is very clean and beautiful. The oils and lotions they use smell wonderful. The music just relaxes you even more. While the price for the massage is higher than we would have paid in VA, it was well worth it. Kudos to both Jira and Kira for providing the best relaxing experience! We will return when we return to Half Moon Bay!

Ahhhhhhhhmazing. Such a relaxing perfect experience. I seriously was so relaxed I didn't move for the next 6 hours after my massage! My technician was very patient as I seriously did'nt know what kinda massage I wanted. On this visit I got a 90 min swedish massage! If your in the area looking for a quality place don't skip out on this spot!

This is my second time here and it was as relaxing as the first time. I came here with two others and we took advantage of the monthly special for the Royal Treatment. This treatment included a 30 min soak in a salt and rose petal bath, a body scrub and a detox wrap, a facial and an hour massage. When we walked in, we were greeted by the receptionists and she brought us into the waiting room where the ambiance was calming and we were offered tea and fancy fruit water. Then the masseuse came, greeted and brought us into our individual rooms. The room was clean and dimly lit. I was able to control the music and the lighting in the room to my liking. My masseuse was Carmina and she was very gentle with the facial and massage. And I was very happy with the whole treatment. If you are looking for a luxurious spa experience at a reasonable price in Half Moon Bay, this is the place to go.

This place was amazing! The staff were very calm, kind and made us feel right at ease. They have an adorable lounge where you come in and fill out a brief questionnaire so they know of any medical conditions or allergies to be wary of. Then they take you into the room where you will have your treatments (great decor and music!) Ours were amazing -- make sure you try the tea bath and hot stone couples massage! The ladies walked us through everything beforehand and let us relax on our own in the bath. We came out feeling nice and warm and relaxed. The oils and salts in the bath made my skin feel so nice and soft. Then they let us know it was time to slip under the covers on the massage table and gave us a few minutes before they came in. It was the first time I had a hot stone massage and it will not be the last =] My masseuse was very attentive and checked in every once in a while to make sure the pressure and heat she was using were alright. It was my first time at a spa so this may not be very objective, but I really felt like everything was perfect. The decor, scents and music were very relaxing, the staff very professional, kind, relaxed and attentive... Take a stroll around the small shops next to the spa afterwards and try some taffy!

We were meeting with friends for a stay and play golf, and they informed us that we had to pay in advance for the golf passes for both courses. I had paid $1586 three weeks in advance. On Tuesday, September 15th, we arrived at the hotel at 10 am and went to the front desk. We were greeted by Jessica, who seemed lost and clueless about her duties. She asked for a card, which is standard practice for hotels, but instead of reimbursing us, she charged us the full amount. Jessica promised to reimburse us, but she couldn't provide us with a receipt. This is unacceptable, and we should have been reimbursed immediately. To make matters worse, we discovered that the bar was open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, but we had no idea about it. We had been staying at the hotel for three weeks and had never noticed the bar. Before we checked out, I went to the front desk again and asked Jessica why we couldn't just get a refund for the card. She refused to do so and took 20 minutes to explain her position. We will never return to this hotel and will strongly advise others to avoid it. I will also contact all review platforms where we can post a review and will fight for a full reimbursement. Finally, I want to address the issue of Jessica. She needs to be removed from the front desk immediately.

Buyer Beware! First to be clear, this is a review about our overall dining experience, not about…read morethe hotel itself. We had booked a table at Navio, the nicest of the several restaurants at this hotel for a birthday celebration. When we arrived at the entrance gate we specifically asked where we could park and were told to drive to the front entrance. At the entrance we were told that our only option for parking was valet parking. We would have been glad to park our own car but were told that was not an option. (More on that shortly.) In the restaurant, we were presented with a menu that was a three or four course prix fix, starting at $165 per person. We had not been warned of this ahead of time. Given that we are not big eaters and there was no way we could eat that much food, we moved to the restaurant next to Navio where there was an ala carte menu. Our dinner there was averaage, nothing special. I would give that restaurant about a 3 for overall dining experience. When we asked the valet for our car we were ushed to a cashier's desk where we were told that the parking fee for the less than 2 hours we had been there was $35. Our impression was that the entire experience was one of being taken advantage of. We were not forewarned of the prix fix dinner menu. We were compelled to use valet parking which we did not need and compelled to pay an outrageous $35 which we had not been forewarned of either. The whole thing felt like a cash grab. Its not about the money. Its about the obvious strategy of springing unexpected expenses on people who have already committed to an evening out with the assumption they will pay rather than object. Well, I object. And you should, too. Take my advice and if you want a nice dinner out in HMB with an ocean view, go to La Costeneda where you get great food and service and the parking is free.

We paid about $400, I'm estimating here, for 2 people to experience an hour massage and time in their hot tub room. We never felt rushed, even though we came on labor day weekend, so that was really nice. I agree with a lot of the reviews that say the hot tub has some wear and tear, it does, but we were still very comfortable and happy. I loved looked into the gardens and appreciated that there weren't mosquitos in our room. I did fear that as someone who attracts them like flies to honey. I'm happy to report no bites reported! The tub was worn down so you can see the stains, however, it was clean. It may be off putting for some ppl, just fyi. It was very quiet and peaceful with a lovely view. The sauna was also a nice touch. Wish there was a cold plunge, but we used the shower instead for a cold rinse. I have an anxious mind and it's very hard for me to relax, I didn't achieve it here, but was able to calm my nerves just a bit. My bf loved it and was fully able to zen out and enjoyed the sauna. The teas were nice pairing. Afterwards we had our massages. The masseuses looked like students, but overall they did a nice job, not the best, but it was calming. Unsure if they are certified. We have had various massages & I have my go to. These ones were just okay. My masseuse was kind and made sure the pressure was okay for me. I didn't get a hot towel afterwards to wipe the oil/lotion off so I was left sticky when we went out for dinner in DT SC. I think because of social media I was itching to try this place. A bit on the pricier side for the quality, however, more affordable compared to other Bay Area places. Staff were nice, street parking. Pay to park.

I opted for the Full Detox treatment, and it was worth every penny. Here is why this place is a hidden gem: 1. Tailored & Educated Approach: I wanted to learn more about my hair loss, and the staff truly listened to my concerns. They took the time to educate me, explain every product, and give me a realistic guidance plan that I am absolutely going to use. (That said, if you just want to zone out and relax, I'm certain they'd accommodate that too!) 2. Next-Level Relaxation: The service was so incredible and luxurious that I kept falling asleep. They pay attention to the tiniest details, like asking if I wanted my feet covered and providing a perfectly weighted blanket. 3. Private & Cozy Atmosphere: It's a smaller space, but they utilize it beautifully. When a second customer arrived, they seamlessly transitioned us into separate rooms so the experience still felt entirely private and exclusive. 4. Zero Pressure: The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. Best of all? They did not try to oversell me on products. The pricing felt completely reasonable and fair for the high quality of service I received. If you're on the fence about booking, just do it. You'll leave feeling relaxed, educated, and pampered!
