Decided to come here one day after work one day, little bit of a drive but the beers are pretty good, decent selection. My husband and I both got flights. 4 beers each, I tried the cucumber ale, hibiscus pale, inlet IPA and the shipwrecked IPA. We also got the fried mac n cheese egg rolls. The cucumber ale is a nice and light beer, the hibiscus is certainly floral but not too much, still a nice light beer.the inlet IPA has a sharp hoppy flavor and the shipwrecked IPA does as well but it feels like there are more notes of your regular IPA flavor in it. The inlet IPA Is a bit mild. the mac n cheese egg rolls were good they were a pretty decent portion but didn't actually feel super heavy on the stomach which is great. They came with 2 dips, a ranch and a very unique siracha honey sauce. I would say they could add in some more cheese though it was lacking in some gooey cheesiness. They do have a pretty big menu here which is a huge plus and you don't actually see too often at breweries. As far as atmosphere it's a pretty big place, very casual and also very busy. This is currently the only brewery in this county though so it's to be expected. For as busy as it is the wait wasn't bad, pretty attentive and nice staff. They seem to change beers pretty often from what we heard talking to staff they change taps every few weeks. read more

I've never even left a Yelp review, but the laziness we just experienced deserves it. Food was enjoyed, but I give service a 1, and that's ONLY because I actually received my drink and food to the table. I didn't get a refill of water. Once it was empty, our server literally took the cup from the table never asking if I'd like a refill, offering another drink, or bringing anything back. I waited 17 minutes to get asked how my food was. Was missing sauce, I had no napkins, and no silverware. Instead of taking the 20 seconds to ask if we needed anything, she sat down with another employee at one of the restaurant tables in front of customers which is extremely rude. FOR 17 MINUTES. Wanted to venture away from our favorite restaurant Castaways and honestly what a disappointment in service. Food was great. The Beer is a 4, the wings are a solid choice.. Everything else is average except the price the value ratio is off. the price of an appetizer is sky high, almost the same as a meal. If you go..look around you will see people sharing apps and meals, not ordering an app or meal for each person. 3 beers and an app will set you back just over $40 with tip. This place used to be good. Within the first few months after opening this place was awesome. They would have seasonal menus and great staff. Lately every time we have gone (within the past 1-1.5years) they can't seem to keep any of the same staff. Those they hire seem to have awful, grumpy personalities. However, i judge people more on their food than service. They had an awesome poutine flatbread, Their mac n cheese egg rolls USED to come with a savory save, scallions, and pickled onions which was amazing! It hit all the senses and was the best version of mac n cheese egg rolls I've ever had. They even had the best potato wedges I've ever had (sounds crazy but they were epic) Food is sub par at best now. For some reason they now think pairing mac n cheese eggrolls with a cinnamon sweet, almost churro tasting, sauce. Disgusting. I went back recently to give it another try and again was seriously disappointed. A side of Processed truffle fries that did not have any truffle flavor at all ($7). We had their Delicious Beerza (pizza dough made with their beer). It was fresh and lots of cheese that was so good! Boneless wings with garlic parm were so good too. I tried the Flo beer which I really enjoyed. We were so happy with the music by Jeff who played a variety of good tunes. Our waitress Autumn was the best ever. Her personality was warm and friendly and she helped us make our selections and signed us up for their Loyalty program. Reserved a table for 15 last evening at 6pm. All arrived on time but the table had to be set up which took 15 minutes. Although we were all on separate checks, they tried to use one waitress to serve us. That was the first mistake. In the first 10 minutes, some of us had drinks and others waited another 15 minutes. The food order was taken after that. When the food came, they used 3 servers, which was an improvement. However, there was tremendous confusion on who gets what. When it was all over, one of our group was never served his meal. The food itself was fair-to-midlan, but getting a second drink took eons. This establishment is not prepared for groups over 6. To add insult to injury, they charged each of us 20% for a party gratuity... even the guy who never ate. We certainly were NOT served as a party, so that 20% was a tax on us for disturbing them with a few extra customers. Our group samples a new restaurant once a month and dines out at the "approved" places on a rotating basis once a week. Unfortunately, Ocean Republic has been scratched off of the list. Ocean Republic continues to brew great tasting beers! We have been frequent patrons for 2 years and there have been some ups and downs with staff turnover and service. They have recently made some positive improvements and changes with Megan assuming a leadership role, new additions to staff and brewmaster Matt. Can't wait to try Matt's new brews! Went for lunch yesterday with my daughter and granddaughters. It was our first time and we will definitely be back! When we walked in our first words were "wow, this place has a cool vibe!". Our server was attentive and very sweet. We ordered the Mac n cheese egg roll appetizer which was delicious! My daughter got chicken cheesy tacos which she loved and was a huge portion and I got the grilled chicken sandwich. The sweet bacon with the herb aioli was a delicious combination. Update 6/20/20; so I went back and was happy to find that they wait on you now. The downside however was that (and this may be due to recent events-COVID-19) the menu is far more limited in both food and beer selections. They got rid of the poutine dishes which is a real shame because they were awesome and it's a rare dish to find. Increasing my rating by 1 star for the good service and food was tasty. Just hoping they bring back the full menu and beer selection. Original review: Inconvenient. I was excited to try this place, unfortunately it has a lot of problems. The biggest issue I had with it is that there is almost no service. You seat yourself then have to order at the bar. When I was there the bar was packed and I stood there for 10 mins trying to put my order in. The tables are small, the seats are cheap and uncomfortable. Also they are all high tops. It was also VERY loud which made it difficult to talk to the friend that came with me. The prices are a little high but the food and the beer was good. I had the wagyu poutine and the jumbo wings both were good and large portio I don't think I'll be going back simply due to the poor setup of ordering, they really should just have waitstaff like a normal restaurant. read more

Smells like they didn't get the mold out. Didn't Greet us, which is odd for a relatively new place. Location could have been better, since it seems to be corporate beholden. We ordered the charcuterie plate, since the beer wasn't to my liking(seltzer with beef flavors...not Ready?) and the wit paired well enough with it. Cool new place in Stuart and stoked a brewery has landed in Martin County. My thoughts upon walking in for the first time having frequented the prior 3 establishments in this location: 1) AMAZING renovation and 2) where-the-hell did all these hip, young folks come from. Once inside you wouldn't know you are in lil' olde Stuart...VERY COOL VIBE. Tip: their brews are on the citrus side ;) I can't say the bartenders/beer pourers (at least the two I interacted with) were micro-brew savvy OR overly-knowledgeable of their own craft beers. Suggestion to Management/Ownership: teach enthusiasm & excitement to all staff, so they are in-turn sharing what your cool, new establishment has to offer, especially to local first-timers like me. Finally a place in Stuart that brews beer on site again (RIP Hops). Thank god the county let this back in. Stopped in last night for my birthday to grab a drink. Forgot the Giants we're playing preseason, so I stayed for a couple of drinks with my brother and fiancé. Loved the IPA I had, they also were very friendly and asked about what I liked. They gave me two other samples of beers to keep in mind for next time I come in, and I definitely will be back. I didn't order food, but I saw a few dishes go out, and man, they looked delicious! Only been open 2 days and everything from my perspective ran smooth. Place was busy but they had plenty of staff to accommodate. There was 5 of us and nobody ever had to wait for a beer. We ordered the pork belly sliders and the lobster fritters both very good. The inlet IPA was easily our favorite followed by the session IPA. Stuart was in need of this place and by the first visit with some tweaks it should thrive. We will be back for sure. read more

I wanted to really like this place but I have to say it was bad. It was a Monday night with 1 bartender and 1 waitress needless to say we waited for 45 mins plus before being able to place our food order. The drink selection was very limited as half the menu was unavailable. The burger was missing items from it and definitely nothing amazing. Team work was definitely lacking from the bartender who was less busy than the waitress running around. The best part of the night was music Bingo. read more
