I wouldn't realize this until today, I returned to him for a fill and he started just started filing and left the same color on my nails. I stopped him explaining I wanted the clear dip filled and he said no you pay to remove we did color dip last time. I explained I didn't want that, he did offer not to charge me to take them off but during the fix I asked him to fix something and he said, "you want to be here til midnight?" With that I let him finish he put the shine coat on and said your done!! I said no oil or wash he said do what you want!!! So I went to the front to pay and the owner says how are they, I showed him the nails he said OH! We can take the paint of the side of your finger if you want, I was almost in tears and let him know I'd just do it at home! I did explain to him being in the service industry I wanted to still tip but that I would not be returning! Also please download the Vietnamese translator on your phone because the hour I was there he and three other nail techs talked crap and laughed about me! I've been here twice now and had a different nail tech both times…read more The first time my nails were alright. I got a new set of medium length, almond nails, pink gel polish with chrome powder. The acrylic was set really far back from my cuticle and two weeks of grow out looked more like four weeks of grow out. I'm not easy on my nails and some of the chrome began to chip at the tips of the nails. I went out of my comfort zone with these nails and aside from the acrylic being so far from my cuticle and the nails not having much of an apex, they were nice and the nail tech was also very sweet. It was the first time I've had a nail tech talk to me while doing my nails and be friendly and kind. She asked about where I'm from, how far away I live, if I liked it here (since I just moved here). If this review was just about her I'd probably give four stars. I came back two weeks later hoping to get the same nail tech, but she was busy with another client and I was a walk in. This time I saw an older male nail tech. I asked for a fill and the same shape, but a little shorter, a deep french tip, and chrome powder. I was charged $75 for the fill, but I paid $80 for a new set two weeks before. He initially only put one coat of pink nail polish which was very sheer and was going to move onto the French tip. I asked for another coat of the pink and I'm not sure if he couldn't hear me or couldn't understand me, but after asking three times he understood and did a second coat. The French tip was good, but when I got in the car and finally could have a closer and longer look at my nails, they were all completely different shapes. One pinky is almond and one is oval for example. To top it all off, there was gel polish all over my skin on every single nail. I don't know what's worse, the gel all over my skin or being charged nearly the same price as a brand new set for a fill. I don't think I'll be going back. The pictures attached show the two weeks of grow out and the charges to my bank account. I didn't think to take a picture of the gel on my skin prior to picking it off unfortunately.
