Sister and I stopped by to get our brows done as we prepared for our mom's birthday dinner. This is my sisters go to place when home in LA so I trusted the process. I'm pretty picky about my eye brow expert as I have a cut on my brow and some have a hard time working around it. Nonetheless, Angie was super nice, attentive and was receptive to my input/ needs to ensure my brows were done as I like. She was quick, gentle, and the price was just right. I've had my eyebrows done there for about 8 years and I've always been happy with their work.

I came by a few months ago to have my brows threaded one evening, about 15 mins before closing. It was quite busy for a weeknight before closing, so it's clear they were doing something right. I liked that the lobby had dividers separating the chairs, social distance style. I noticed there was a touchless thermometer so guests can check their temperature themselves upon arrival. The young lady that did my eyebrows was awesome. I don't recall her name, but she was short and petite. She gave them just enough arch that I needed while still keeping to the micro blading shape I already had. The second time I went was a few weeks ago. The taller young lady did my brows that time. I really liked the arch but, on my left brow a little too much hair was taken off the top, so my micro blading/shading shows where the hair was missing. So now, I have to fill it in some. Next time I go, I'll just call ahead to see if I can be seen by the First Lady. read more

I've been coming here for about 6 months now and I love it. It's a simple threading salon that meets all of your threading needs. You can always walk in and sign the waitlist. From the last time I was at this threading place. Usually the service is phenomenal and I leave with a smile on my face but this time was not it. An older lady, dark hair, with glasses on the bridge of her nose, took me and worked hard on my eyebrows. When I tell you I was wincing in pain more than usual I knew something wasn't right, and the way the thread would cut into my skin. I made a comment to let her know that it was hurting me and she told me to just pull my skin up more, and I obliged. But she continued to still drag that thread across the most sensitive part of skin. She wasn't the warmest tech either no greeting me when I greeted her. When it was done, she quickly showed me the mirror , and from first glance my eyebrows looked great. But when I got inside of my car I noticed my eyebrows weren't even EVEN! I drove all the way home and really got to looking and they looked like this. As you can see in this image here how pissed off I was, that she wasn't even attentive to how horribly uneven my eyebrows were. I went back and Angie took care of me, and they also assured that this would not happen again, and took pics to show the technician of how unacceptable her work was. I will still continue to support this business , but someone definitely needs to do something about the other technician. I only leave a 2 star review for this visit because of the inattentive technician. read more

Gita is absolutely amazing, she is the one at the first chair closest to the door. I have been going for 2 years now, and I even brought my friends who were happy with the service too. Gita is extremely talented and sweet. I don't even need to check a mirror after getting my eyebrows because I trust her so much. I always call to see if she's working before I go. I give places 3 try's, the 1st was great, 2nd was ok, but today?! Never again. I have very thin light colored haired brows as is so I wanted a light clean up. Why did this lady almost take off my whole left brow?!! It's super thin compared to my right. She just kept going. And when I asked her why she went so thin, the answer was "well you got light hair above that you can't see but they are there and now your brows match" TF they dont! Update on COVID-19 RE-OPENING. I arrived to the location and it was packed. At lease 20+ ppl waiting to get serviced, which is expected. I don't mind waiting. BUT the inside of the waiting room was full. Why??? If your having customers sign in with name and number - have everyone wait in their cars and call them when they are next. Bc there was zero distancing with a full waiting room and a crowd outside. The only ppl inside the building shld be the employees and those getting serviced at that moment. They also have customers take a number, so I hope those plastic cards are being sanitized after each customer. So disappointing bc I love this place. I didn't feel comfortable getting my brows done bc this has the potential to be a very dangerous situation. read more

What I disliked about the lady that did my eyebrows (first chair) when she was charging me she asked if I was leaving the tip on the card and I told her I was going to give cash. I asked for change from a $10 and she gave me two $5 bills. I asked her for change again and she said thank you and put the $5 in her pocket. I usually like to give a good tip but I disliked that she expected the $5 tip she could have gave me a $5 and singles. I will try someplace else. This really threw me off never had anyone do that not even at a nail salon that required way more time and work. read more

5 stars for Angie! I make sure to always go when Angie is working and I'll call ahead to verify she's there. She is gentle, sweet, and so great at what she does. My eyebrows are naturally patchy, asymmetrical, and curl, but every time my eyebrows are done by her I'm so happy with the results. For the longest time I was driving 30+ minutes just to see her & am so happy I found her. I must add though that one of the last times I went, Angie was on lunch & I was called by someone else. I decided to give her a chance which was a mistake. She was very aggressive, rude & was sighing the entire time. She was yanking on my arms to position them correctly and positioning my head aggressively. She kept sighing and was making comments under her breath in another language. She had glasses and I believe was middle eastern (I'm not being racist- I'm middle eastern as well) I was trying to listen and pick up on some of the things she was saying but couldn't hear her. Today I was in desperate need of cleaning up my brows and figured I'd give this place a shot since it's near my fav Jamaican food restaurant. I gotta say I have fallen in love with this place! Angela greeted me and had me seated within 5 minutes of arrival. I was impressed with their cleanliness and brow work! I can really tell that Angela takes great pride in her work. She worked her magic on my eyebrows. I was very appreciative of her showing me how 1 eyebrow looked before moving on to the next. I'm really upset because I have very thick eyebrows, and it's hard to mess them up since they already have a shape.
