I've been on the hunt for a really good eyebrow person. Sad to say I have not yet found it at this place. The service was great and I was in and out but the eyebrow job was just average. I was not blown away by the service. The price was good enough for me to come back. It was about $10. read more

Asked for brow clean up and keep it thick. I walked out with half my brows gone. I am actually so upset but felt bad saying anything in person. And the tip options start off at 30%. I almost didn't but felt bad if I didn't. Shape is nice but it's so thin I'm actually going to cry read more

I paid $20 for poor eyebrow threading and upper lip threading. I never write reviews but this one really bothered me. I went in with my bestfriend 30 minutes before they closed on a Friday evening. There were no customers and two ladies instructed us to sit at the chairs. They went straight into threading (which is normal at any threading place). Me and my bestfriend literally left after about 3 minutes of being there. At first, we thought it was very impressive how fast they were able to do the service but after looking carefully at the mirror we both realized that BOTH of our left eyebrows were thinner and arched WAY more than our right eyebrow. They were not precise with the shaping and definitely did not get all of the hairs. To be honest, I didn't see a drastic different in cleanliness around my eyebrows as much as I did at my usual threading spot. I spotted a lot of hairs that she missed and had to pluck them on my own..but what is the point of paying someone to thread them if you end up having to pluck them on your own? Anyways, We're both super disappointed from the moment we walked out. We've been talking about this for the past two days lol. Literally our upper lip was bleeding in the car ride back. We also were shocked at how expensive the price was just for some threading. We will not be coming back read more

Monday's & Tuesday's: eyebrows $4.99 (I call it the eyebrow Happy Hour) Wed-Sun: $6.99 *Get 6 stamps & you get a free eyebrow thread.. **unable to use stamp card for Mon& Tue. Bimala (Bima) is seriously the brow goddess y'all. You will be walking out the door with snatched brows. Now, some of us need to come here for a few sessions if we want to see our eyebrows on fleek, but rest assured it'll all be worth it at the end. It took me about 3 times to finally get my brows together. Bima is such a sweet and efficient lady. She gives you suggestions whether you want them a bit thinner or why she left your brows the way she did and just cleaned them up. Thick or thin she will get you there...She always asks if it's ok to trim them and makes sure you are satisfied before you leave. I remember a while back ago I called her last minute, the shop was getting ready to close and she literally waited for me after I asked if I could stop by. I came here for the first time a couple of weeks ago. I had to break up with my last place since my lady wasn't there anymore. The new lady kept tugging at my skin from opposite sides that I've never felt another lady do to me ever. I was right. Eyebrow threading puts you in a very vulnerable state. You put your trust in the eyebrow artist. I came to the perfect place on a rainy day. I wish I caught her name. When I am back I will update that. This wonderful woman worked quick and smoothly. She knew to tug from both sides like it should be. It painless and my brows came out awesome. I was in awe. Where the hell have I been? Lol I will be back. Thank you! read more

I've past by this place a million times and always told myself I would NEVER get my brows threaded. It always seemed to be a strange process. However today was the day that I tried something new and prayed I wouldn't end up facebalded, lol. My brows looked like I was raised with wolves because I looked rough! I walked in and I was the only person there....well it was early around 10am and the young lady their was cleaning. The entire place was nice, clean, and inviting. The lady looked at my brows and knew to only cleaned them up which made me feel good. I knew then she knew what she was doing. So I sat in the chair and she begin doing what she do....why it didn't hurt all all!? No burning sensation, no stinging, nothing. I begin to get mad at myself for not trying this out earlier in my life. She did the left side then the right side and she was done! I grab the mirror and OMG its like I had on a new face! She did a fantastic job. Also because it was Monday I got the sale price which only $5. Yes I know, AWESOME right! I have found my home!! read more

Me and my aunt both came to get henna done. The service was done surprisingly fast but the quality was horrible and the detailing was very messy. We were told that it would last a few weeks however our henna came off within three to four days. I honestly want a refund, it wasn't worth $25 at all. Neither of us are coming back. read more

First experience was , let my eyebrows grow back out a whole 2 months. She literally made 2 different shapes. Thinned my shit out something crazy. I paid for it, tipped and left. I don't know if it was because she had a loyal right after me or what. But I'm hot. It literally takes about a month for my eyebrows to grow back. Now I have to wait. If you're a loyal I guess she knows your brows better. If your a random here and there. She does what she wants. ‍ God bless the business. I just won't be returning. read more

Oh.. My... God.. The service here is insanely great! I highly recommend this place to anyone who threads their eyebrows. My girlfriend and I threaten our eyebrows and it was quick and efficient. We were in and out within 15 minutes and the same lady did our eyebrows. If I can rate this place 10 stars I most definitely will. Man I love this place now and will continue going back. Not to mention the cheap pricing. I used to go to Ziba in Glendale and spend $20 just on my eyebrows, but I spent $20 for my Girlfriend's and my eyebrows. They are open and doing great at infection control. They check your temperature and ask that you sanitize your hands then sign up. They disinfect the chair with Lysol before you sit. She wears a mask with a face shield for her protection and yours! Great you guys!!! read more

Bimu has been great doing my eyebrows. In my previous reviews I stated she is not always on point but as far as eyebrows she is great. For some reason she did horrible job and then tried to get a tip. I declined to tip because of poor service recieved. Maybe that's why I didnt get a grin & a thank you come again? I guess she won because now I have one arched brow and one curved. read more

The worst!!! I've been letting my eyebrows grow out for more than 6 months! I came in today to get my eyebrows finally done, and they were ruined! All my growth progress gone! I specifically told her that I had been growing them out and wanted thicker brows. She threaded everything off and left me back to where I started I am so upset I can cry! Talk about a bargain! My usual place was closed and I had an emergency eyebrow need and they are close to my house. As a woman or man you know that eyebrows are very important specially because it can totally change your mood and look if you go to a bad place (which has happened to me) I was hesitant but I needed it bad! I did a walk in and was greeted and helped right away! Thumbs up, no wait time Price was perfect $7 compare to my $15 appointment. The owner is very sweet lady. However she is very inconsistent with eyebrows. Yesterday wasn't the first time she messed up. But it was a huge mess up on my eyebrows. Even my boyfriend notice the error. I wish I can keep coming here but she messes up too often. She is so nice and I wish I can still come to help her business. But I need to find somewhere else. My feet have been through it the last couple of years (sports) and I wanted to get serious about caring for them properly, not just getting them painted. Of course, I turned to Yelp for the scoop and zeroed in on Ms. Glen's Therapeutic Manicures & Pedicures. I finally got a chance to go see Ms. Glen and it was everything I wanted and more. It was relaxing (I fell asleep)! It was restorative! My feet felt and looked healthy and cared for. I didn't get polished which is great because I have been wanting to go natural for a while to let my nails breathe and focus on what's really happening with my toe nail health. So may things I loved (in no particular order): - Very communicative from the appointment (via phone) to the confirmation and directions (via text) - Ms. Glen greeted me at the door - The studio smells divine (really sets the tranquil mood) - The studio was intimate (just me - yay) - The space was very clean (I am a stickler for clean) - There was a complimentary water waiting on me - Ms. Glen has developed her own techniques and products which speaks to her dedication and specialization (I love people who are passionate about what they do!) - Every step of the treatment was appreciated! (very detailed, very attentive, think - pampering your feet from the in-depth massage to the parrafin to the soaks to the grooming and much much more) - I got socks! This was such a special and much needed last step that I never knew I needed. It made my feet more comfortable and protected after such a beautiful treatment. She even asked me my size. How's that for customer service! - Now this one may seem trivial but I never had to hold my feet up during the treatment unless I was transitioning from the bowl to a towel. I do not like having to do that while someone attends to the bottom of my feel or heels. Ms. Glen has it worked out where I can truly relax the whole time. I also left with one of Ms. Glen's therapeutic hand and foot oils in Lemon. She makes the oils herself! It smells so good and leaves a refreshing but not overpowering scent. It feels good oiling my feet every night. Like another reviewer said, this is not your run of the mill pedicure shop. This is a therapeutic service that is worth every penny. My goal is to make this a regular treatment. If my feet are healthy, I am healthier! Thanks Ms. Glen for such a wonderful experience! I'll be back. If your feet are in need of TLC, renewal and restoration, Ms. Glen has a carefully curated service that will leave your feet feeling brand new. I had recently purchased a soap that helps with skin discoloration. It hasn't been making any improvement in the uneven skin tone and dark marks on my feet. Turns out I just needed an appointment with Ms. Glen. The exfoliation she provided literally rubbed away 15 years from my feet. My dry scratchy heels were left supple and smooth and the calloused areas were left soft. Had I known what I was in store for I would have taken before and after pictures. She even provided socks for me to leave in, to seal in the moisture. My favorite part hands down was the massage. She kneaded into these tired soles, and I needed that! I paid a little more than the price listed (which she does quote as a base price) but she also spent almost 2x the amount of time listed. My Fiancé noticed the difference in appearance and feel immediately. I intentionally waited until 24 hours+ had passed to write this review, wanting to see if my feet would feel just as nice. THEY DO!! Ms. Glen definitely puts pride in her work and I love how she checked in throughout the process to ensure I was satisfied along the way. I recommend her service to anyone looking to give their feet a more youthful feel and look. And if your feet have severe issues that might keep you from visiting open public salons, her private suite will help you feel comfortable and secure. Right before I left, Ms. Glen threw in a bottle of her therapeutic hand & foot oil once she saw how dry my hands were. I had discussed my upcoming nuptials with her and she wanted to make sure my hands moisturized properly for my big day, even providing a demonstration on proper application. Ms. Glen is a gem!

I recently moved to the Gardena area so I was hoping to find a new place that I could trust and hopefully continue going to. I have tried a few different places in the Hawthorne/Lawndale area while I was living in Hawthorne and found one place I ended up going to regularly. I was not very ecstatic but found them doing a "good enough" job to keep returning. Once I moved to the Gardena area I decided to look for a new place which would be closer to where I am at now. So I came across this place while shopping at another store in the same shopping center. I looked up the reviews and I liked what I saw so decided to walk right in. I am sure glad I did. They greeted me with a smile as soon as I walked in and seen me in less than 5 minutes. I was happy with the way my eyebrows came out and with no pain either!! I have been coming here for over 4 months now and have had service done by about 3 different people (you could request same person if you like) and had the same outcome each time. I went today early like around 12:30 am and this is my first time coming here. I have hoped from one place to another like 3 times already. The last place I was going decided to hire someone new and I just really didn't like the way she was leaving my eyebrows so I decided to be on the hunt for a new place. I arrived and both of the ladies were nice and said hello. After she was done with my eyebrows I loved them. They were exactly how i wanted them and I didn't even have to tell her. Ever since this place first opened, I was so excited to come. They gave me a flyer with a discount and i was amused since that day. Their prices are reasonable and they always leave my eyebrows looking the best. This is my go to place because they take care of me here. When I sit down I tell them what I want and they begin to work but then stop and show me to ask if that's how i want it or what else I want so they can get my eyebrows right. I went there today and the employees are very nice and strait of the bat they welcomed me and told me to sign in and sit down. Then after a couple of minutes of waiting it was my turn. I told bimu to clean my eyebrow and she did them exactly the way I wanted. I would highly recommend this, and in my opinion this is probably the best eyebrow threading in gardena. read more

I live close by and this is my "go to" eye brow place. I've been coming here for over a year and I love the way Bim threads my eyebrows. I'm never disappointed. I called right before closing and they told me to come in and they waited for me to come in! It was very fast and pain free! Beware!!! Don't get me wrong, I love Simu (the owner) she the best; but she recently hired an older lady which had no idea how to do eyebrows. She messed up my eyebrows so bad to where I was crying. Simu came and fixed them, though by that time, it was too late and they had already become too thin. read more

Awesome place! They are very quick, and do a beautiful job of shaping eyebrows. I have very sparse unevenly shaped eyebrows, so I was skeptical at first. They made my eyebrows look clean and precise like a model's. I am very happy with the results, and will definitely go there again. read more
